How to Make Cross References in Microsoft Word [Tutorial]
To assist your readers in quickly moving to pertinent information in your document, you can use the Cross-Reference feature in Microsoft Word. This allows your audience to simply click and navigate to related information in the same document.

I am stil having issue with cross-referencing. I have referenced up to chapter 3 in my writing - now chapter 4 but each time I try to insert my figure and label the new image in a new chapter, it either takes me to chapter 3 (as Figure 3-11) instead of Figure 4-1 in the new chapter 4. Kindly help. Thank you!

the bibliography redrencing always used to work for me on a document ive been writing for weeks now and some reason I now end up with this error now "Invalid source specified." is there anything for me to do at this point? do I have to start my refrencing all over again?
