The question is that why all rhinoplasty surgeons have HUGE noses but never undergo a rhinoplasty? 🤔 what do u know that we dont?
Good point
I have noticed this as well, the surgeons always never do their own procedures
They are happy thts y and they are guys
@@robertvandermeer367 plastic surgeons in America never care as much about their own looks. I bet his wife has had work done..
Even Hollywood smile dentists. I never saw one who had it done themselves.
I don't care what he says. I tape my nose everyday and it I 100% see a difference. I spent a week out of tape and sure enough my nose gently "swole" up because of all the blood vessels, and my nose lost almost all of it's definition in just a week. I tape overnight and while I work out because the blood fills the skin and makes it look bigger. I have thick skin if that should be noted.
Your only going to slow down the healing, it needs to swell out before it reduces back to normal. Suppressing the swelling for too long is pointless and not helpful to speeding up recovery.
agree!!! only yt surgeons are against taping. but also the iranian and turkish surgeon in my country which are btw much better than the the local yt german ones recommend taping for 6 months!!
@@AkhCho gurl you dont know thick ethnic nose skin. because of the thick skin there can be scar tissue and with the taping you can counter act the development of scar tissue because you press the skin to the cartilage and bone. that is why middle eastern and turkish surgeons recommend taping because many of our people have thick, oily nose skin lol
So what's your plan, to tape it your entire life? What was the purpose of you doing the surgery in the first place? It swells thr first months up to a year, but if you think you have more scientific knowledge than a Doctor with 22 years of experience suit yourself
@@the_specialista6319 I guess I will, thanks for the encouragement, lol. All bodies and people are slightly different and taping my nose overnight and while I work out at home works for me. I have thick skin and rhinoplasty is mostly suited for people with thin skin.
Do you recommend not taping for thick skinned patients too?
Im glad I sern your video. My dr said not to tape and i dudnt know why. Also, i have ms and had a rhinoplasty with 4 other types of surgeries in my nose and i am so tired w sleeping all day and right after work i sleep. Is this normal
But the whole point is so you tape that skin down, to the new shape of the bone/nose. Allowing it to fuse together faster, and control swelling in the healing process... So your theory is; In order to not risk pulling the skin away from the bone for a brief moment, (when pulling the tape off) Just don't tape it down at all!? Even though its supposed to be taped there 7-8 hours while you sleep, during your bodies natural healing cycle? Seems to me the good that can be done in that amount of time, heavily outweighs the risks not to in the brief moment of pulling the tape off, no?

Hi can you do a video about asymmetry nostrils
I'm one month after rhinoplasty and there's still a bump on my bridge, I'm concerned now that not enough was taken down, any advice would be appreciated
But drs in Turkey strongly recommend taping the nose after surgery for weeks.. And the noses they make are of the most beautiful!!!
Beautiful? They change the face completely
Kinda makes sense
How about nose tapping for inflammation 1 year post op. Especially around the tip
My own surgeon told me to
So what issues would that cause though if the skin is pulled from the bone? I’m so confused whether I should tape or not because my nose still has a bump after surgery and I want to help shape it better.

I don't think the bump will dissappear if you tape it. Taping doesn't reshape the nose if that were the case none would go under the knife we would all buy the tape
Cant you just put oil on the tape to loosen the glue?

Oil will loosen the sticky tape let it soak for at least 10mins it works very well
Just wet the tape before removing.
yep i use cleansing oil. it does not hurt and pulls the skin too much. the residue is annoying tho.. i need like 5 mins to clean it off with cleansing oil.
Dr. Sorry to tell you that your level is not too high after watching this and many of your videos
