Every single thing she said and did for the last 8 years was manipulation. Everything. Lies and truth were used interchangeably depending on what was useful in the moment. She would spin arguments for hours, eventually arguing against whatever she was originally arguing only to say she never was. It makes you feel like you're going crazy. It's very hard to truly comprehend a person who means NOTHING they say, respects no boundary, and will admit nothing they've done. We assume that people only lie sometimes.

Humans get a good feeling when they are wanted, looked up upon, liked, loved. You know this, we all know this. It’s why attention craving exists. Being an “influencer” is the same way, except amplified. For a person who already desperately craves attention this can be very mentally taxing, having millions of people hanging onto your every action and word, the weight of the world on your shoulders type of feel. It’s an intense high, so when these people begin to fall off, or suffer extreme backlash or cancellation…well… you see. This is even more extreme if the person has Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
Being in the field I always urge people to educate themselves on narcissists/narcissism/NPD. The term is used incorrectly well over 90% of the time that I hear or see it on the internet. It’s a complex disorder and it is sad to see.
Also edit for the Cryptomnesia bit - obviously she is lying, we can deduce this if you look at past behaviors. However if it is something that interests you, pick up the book The Psychology of Writing by Ronald Kellog

It's extremely exhausting and draining to have a close relationship with someone like her. They blame everyone but themselves. They use their mental health issue as an excuse. Also she is so far down the rabbit hole by the end of this video that I am also sure she can manipulate and lie her way out of wellness checks because she knows they are not the ones watching her on the media. Idk where her next chapter is but I hope we get her off the platform somehow so she can just be away from all the viewers… I think we would see so much improvement.

There's definitely no winning with her, she is utterly incapable of looking at situations with a calm and logical approach and if anything she actively looks for ways she can sway it in her favour. She gets way too emotional, lashes out, then when called out on it she doubles down and feeds into her own delusion. She's honestly about as emotionally mature as the teenage girls who defend her.

I wanted to add that ADHD -- real ADHD, not tik-tok "I do these quirky things because I'm so forgetful" ADHD -- can be seriously debilitating. ADHD is often misunderstood as something that only happens in children and/or only affects a person's ability to sit still and pay attention. As someone who didn't get diagnosed until I was 32, ADHD has negatively affected my emotional regulation, my time management, my ability to plan for the future, my relationships, relationship with food and drugs, and drive to get important things done (along with many other things I'm failing to remember right now).
ADHD sucks. It has affected my ability to see the potential consequences of my actions and led to me making very stupid choices. Even worse, it has affected my ability to see how certain negative outcomes were almost entirely my fault. For example, I nearly failed out of college in my senior year, despite having good grades the previous years and getting through the toughest classes. I literally failed a 1-credit class called "Beginning Guitar" that I could've easily passed simply because I didn't go to class. I also could've requested to withdraw from the class at nearly the end of the semester without hurting my GPA, but I simply forgot to do this. This is just one example, but the whole year was a clusterf**k despite my credit load being lighter than previous years and not having any exceptionally challenging classes. I blamed all of my problems on my ex-girlfriend (the timing sucked, and she sort of cheated on me... but that's another story) and my instructors as I figured they all were out to get me. It wasn't until years later that I realized how lazy I was and how lenient my instructors had been.
All of that said, ADHD is no excuse for bad behavior, especially manipulating and lying to others. ADHD might make me more sensitive to criticism, and I may react disproportionately when my wife does something I find upsetting. However, I don't use it as an excuse. I apologize and try to be better. Thank God my wife is patient and understanding, but if she decided that my behavior isn't tolerable, she has no obligation to stay with me and just deal with it. I'm chronically late to things, and even though it's common with people who have ADHD and I don't mean to disrespect other people's time, ultimately it is disrespectful, and no one should feel obligated to wait for me or accommodate me just because I struggle with something.
It's easy to blame your problems on others, and lying and manipulating can give you short-term success. However, this behavior will likely ruin you in the long-term. You may be successful on the outside, but you'll know that you're a POS and that your success is undeserved. Hard to be happy when you know you're a fraud. The sooner you take ownership for your mistakes and responsibility for your life, the sooner you can begin working on yourself and improving your situation. You can't improve if all of your problems are someone else's fault...
Sorry for the rant. Hopefully this helps someone!

I don't have too much to add because my energy is low right now, but I just want to say, I can at least partially understand. I just recently got diagnosed with ADHD at 18. It explains so much of my life and has made me realize I'm not actually a lazy fuck up, I just don't function the same way everyone has expected me to. School was hell growing up because of it and not knowing what to do to cope or be more productive. I do my best and am actively working on getting better, but the way I have felt about myself all my life has been almost completely explained by this diagnosis. Its a horrible thing to deal with and even worse to go through so much of your life without knowing what's "wrong with you". I completely agree that it isn't an excuse for treating people like shit, and a lot of people with ADHD don't do that. I just try not to be too harsh on people with ADHD about productivity or personal struggles because I know how hard it is to find resources.

@oonah5853 oh my God no way. I stg if that's what I've been dealing with. I also have been diagnosed with adhd. And the amount of people who don't understand that adhd can lead to depression anxiety paranoia and a multitude of different things it gets frustrating. Like I've had one person try to call me out for reaching out when I was depressed to the ones I thought were my friends saying it was an attention grab. If you know me you know I'm not social. But for the first time I tried to speak up about how I have been feeling and then I just got attacked by this person I thought was my friend. I'm antisocial, and and introvert but weirdly enough, if I'm separated from people and licked away in my room [because im antisocial] for a lil bit like I was at the time I get extremely depressed. So I tried to reach out and got backlash from it which in the end teaches us to keep things locked away. Now I'm diagnosed with not only adhd but major depressive disorder which I'm just starting to get under control. And you can see I have adhd because this topic went elsewhere. I'm sure these dots won't connect for you like they did with my brain lmao. But she never understood me or anything about me. It was always if she can get through it then so can I and I'm just making a big deal and I feel that that mindset toward people with adhd can be so damaging because they feel they aren't enough. They're not doing enough. And now being 23 I'm still struggling so much with adhd and the depression and everything else but I'm just now learning to manage 🙃 it's not just a hyper disorder and I really wish people could understand what all it is and what it can cause. I'm sorry I'm rambling now. I can't see what I wrote prior but I know I go on long tangents about things that seemingly don't connect 😂😂 I've struggled with thinking I'm crazy and that there's something wrong with me, it's just really refreshing to be able to relate with so many people like me!

I was diagnosed with Bipolar syndrome as a kid and people have been throwing my diagnosis in my face even my own family ever since then, saying shit like “you are going to end up being a serial child molesting murderer” simply because those types of trash are diagnosed as Bipolar. They say this all because I would tell them to F$&@ off and to leave me alone then proceeded to progressively get angrier and angrier (never physical) as they pushed me.
I literally grew up thinking I was a monster because of what my “friends” and family said to me about being Bipolar and about my diagnoses being linked to such terrible terrible walking breathing human trash.
It took me years to manufacture a persona that is basically stoic and slightly sarcastic to appease those around me, to keep people from judging me as such a horrible person just because my emotions are all over the place.
Now they just think I am a sarcastic asshole, who is seriously indifferent. Even tho In my head I am screaming and crying wishing I could have a personality or emote without everyone judging and tearing me down.

@@MikeRaist What you experienced is psychological and emotional abuse. There is NO connection or correlation between bipolar disorder and serial killers or child molesters (or any other types of evil people). None. Zero. The people in your life saying these things to you are either profoundly ignorant or they are vicious liars. Either way, they were abusive to you, and if your parents were involved then they are hypocrites, because treating your child like that is a form of child abuse.
You have no obligation to keep people like that in your life, even if they are family. It's not worth having toxic, abusive people around you, who will always try to knock you down. You don't have to put up with it. You can leave and have no or very limited contact with the ones that abused you, while keeping contact with the good people you know in your life.
I strongly recommend you consider seeing a therapist or counsellor who can help you deconstruct the lies you were told. A good therapist can teach you how to identify exactly when and how people are being abusive or manipulative, how to understand their tactics and thinking, and can support you in setting firm boundaries with the toxic people around you so they can't attack you anymore. They can also help you learn how to live without needing to constantly keep your mental guard up (it's exhausting), so you can re-connect with and grow the part of you that wants to have normal positive emotions. You might meet the right therapist straight away, or you might need to try more than one before you find the right one for you. That's normal.
If you can't afford, or don't want to see a therapist, then consider joining a support group, either online or in person, for people who have grown up living with toxic families. There are organisations out there who can help, but it can even be something as simple as a Reddit group. You are not the only person who has had to grow up surrounded by abusive people, and talking with other people who have also gone through that can be very helpful. Getting the toxic people out of your life opens the door to finding good people, who you can have normal, safe relationships with. It's all a process that takes time and some effort, but you can do it.

She's very committed to her ADHD, talking about it as if she was disabled. I've got ADHD too. I know people with this issue and everyone admits their ducks up and moves on, even if certain things happened because of the disorder. Once my grandma drove me to the train station one day before scheduled travel because I mixed up the date. I had the clearest picture in my mind of the ticket with the wrong date on it. However, I just apologized and vowed to put notifications on my phone, put important events on my calendar and double check because I can't trust my memories XD you can't be angry at people because their reaction to your mishaps even if you didn't mean to irritate them. She mentioned that if she had a cancer maybe people would be nicer to her. Well, diseases aren't force fields against anger, resentment or aversion. If you're being constantly overbearing and difficult, people won't do nothing above bare minimum. They gonna be cordial, they gonna help you whenever you ask but they won't think of you as your favourite person and that's in private settings. I'm sure people online get too involved in influencers' lifes and call themselves "fans" or random people who are as valuable as any other person. Gabbie however didn't care for followers or enthusiasts of her work but fans of herself.

ADHD is literally a disability though, like, legally speaking

@@Merjacevi ADHD as the name says is a disorder. I have ADHD, I've been in treatment for some time now. My doctor is very compassionate. He talks freely about suffering connected with the disorder but he underlines that it's not a disability. You can treat it. Legally, ADHD is considered a disability so working people could access help and rehabilitation. The disorder interferes with person's capacity to work and it's acknowledged as a reason for Social Security. Disability is defined in two categories: legal and scientific. People who are capable of living on their own without assistance who's disorder is managed by meds aren't considered medically disabled. ACCORDING TO MY DOCTOR.

@@Merjacevi I'd stick by it. Though my life has been destroyed due to bad diagnosis and lack of treatment, I wouldn't compare myself to people who are unable to survive without assistance or equipment. ADHD comes in many shapes and forms. People often deal with other mental or physical problems alongside ADHD. I'm invalidating their suffering, telling them to use a calendar. However, ADHD doesn't take from person's objective perception of reality/facts or their abilities to move though it's hard. It's not a competition but Gabbie uses ADHD as a force field against anything and everything. She's "the sick one", she requires preferential treatment but not much can be done by society to make her life easier. Some disabled people need elevators, some need parking spaces, other need quiet rooms in public spaces and assistance in public spaces, some rely on social awareness and compassion. Gabbie, however, wants to be treated by everyone as if she was their sick loved-one. When people resist, she says she's being bullied. Bit like Michael Scott after his morning battle with grill. Legally, she might be disabled and be eligible for benefits but in broader social context she doesn't require special treatment to survive and could do a lot to help others without sacrifice of her own safety, comfort or standard of living. At work or at school ADHD people need certain tools or approach but they're capable of surviving and living on their own without assistance. That's what I meant when implying she's been overestimating her condition. She's really privileged with money and options to get medication and best therapy and treatment possible. In a social context and through of my doctor, ADHD is not a disability. It's a disadvantage, disorder that might be horrific and lead to other problems if not treated, but it it doesn't take away from a person. I remember clearly when he told me this that. It makes life more difficult but it doesn't take away from a person and when properly treated/managed is a trait of many brilliant people.

It's a disorder not a disability & over here they are removing adults treatment that had been helping. Adults who weren't treated as children but need it now. Replacing it with nothing, sorry officially labled 3rd line of treatment (AKA LAST RESORT) seizure causing anti-depressants or meds require HEART monitoring while on it...basically anything you're GP can prescribe w/psyc special cert number, cuz no psychiatrist will see you anymore...long established medical history be dammed.....& ironically "no healthcare systems" USA let's GPs had out meds like candy w/o qualifications.....see it all sucks, everywhere, one way or another.

ADHD is a spectrum in terms of functionality. Some people struggle more than others with ADHD and with different aspects of it. Some people might struggle more with memory or attention.

As a lebanese person, for a lot of us the only difference between being "white" or not is the culture we grow up in, not the appearance... She looks the part and has grown up her whole life in the US along with the privileges, it's really dumb to start labeling yourself a person of color, without mentioning it being disrespectful to actual PoC.

Lol i have adhd and i can SO relate to her! Especially when i was addicted to speed- i would post stuff to my stories CONSTANTLY that had ppl texting me all worried and saying im on drugs n acting weird and i feel ashamed of a lot of it but it definitely comes down to adhd ppl sometimes not being good at being ‘appropriate’ or saying the right thing, and we can hyperfocus on stuff especially stuff that gives us instant gratification like all the views from soc media and just take it way too far
