I hope everyone understands why I kept some situations in this video regarding the personal lives and information of others vague, at this moment I don’t feel it’s my place to hash out or explain the personal details regarding sensitive situations that have been brought into the public eye by gabbie Hanna. Sorry if that made any part of this video confusing, linked in the resources are important links for Bianca’s law and Jessi Smiles’ videos so you can hear her story from her own words 💜
Also, regarding the ricegum situation I don’t think I clarified well enough in the video that acting out physically like that is never, ever okay and should never be excused or justified.

Gabbie is actually harmful for the public perception of ADHD. Even though things have changed the standing idea of ADHD is still “little cis boy who can’t sit still in a classroom” and her erratic and hurtful behavior towards others with the label of “oh haha i just have ADHD” isn’t helping.

We can suck at social cues and my ADHD can sometimes accidentally lead me to upset people. But if that happens, I own up to the hurt I caused, explain the misunderstanding, and work to avoid hurting people in the future. About 5 years ago she did several videos ranting and trying to get a rental car agent fired for charging her the extra money she agreed to in her contract, related to the return of the car after a trip home for the holidays. She lost it on the next 3 videos, and was spewing such hate for this poor employee - I never watched again. I went to her channel to forget about the world and laugh for a few minutes. Graveyard Girl did the same thing. Their channels became their therapist and the comments started to get mean. We're all human - but you can't make content out of your mental breakdown and not ruin your successful career. She was back the next Tuesday and when we asked why she didn't di3 she claimed she had to have "major surgery" during that time to remove it. Since she didn't have a scar or stitches from said surgery she said they used a magnet to pull it out of her skin so there was no scar. When everyone laughed at her she said her dream was to be r-worded and would please someone come to her house and go through with it. Our guidance counselor found out and sent the cops to her house and she was put on a hold at the hospital. When she got out and came back to school she said she went because she "sl!t her wr!sts and di3d in her bathtub but her mom found her in time to bring her back to life" but once again, she forgot she didn't have scars or stitches she said she just healed quicker than everyone else because her DNA had starfish DNA in it and she could heal instantly.

    • @ellemariec

@@matthill5426 my first thought was actually just that lol - it was, "Wait a minute, tho... is that what every abuser does to their victims?? 🤔💭" Not to be nit-picking this person's comment or anything... but, that is quite literally very easy to imagine - because, it's what abusers are best at (making their victims feel actual guilt for the abuse that's being inflicted upon THEMSELVES). It's honestly sickening && mind-numbing. 🙄🙄 But, whether it's physical, mental or emotional abuse (or any combo of these, for that matter), we see victims being the ones who blame themselves && how they "caused" their abuser to "go off." I have done this myself, unfortunately (the "victim", not the abuser, btw...) - && it's honestly hard to even see that you're doing it while you're doing it (as strange/crazy as that might sound). The abusers/manipulators are really just THAT "good" at what they do. It's sick && sad on all accounts.

narcs often are delusional. acknowledging that their worldview is different from reality means acknowledging that they're imperfect and their confidence shatters. narcs will literally delude themselves as they gaslight their victim, because they HAVE to believe THEYRE the victim for ANYTHING to be justified. and so many people believe their version. watching Gabbie's behavior makes it SO clear that she's a delusional narc.

That's just how people like that work. They don't change because they project instead of reflect upon themselves. Best to take it as a lesson to always allow yourself room to grow as a person instead of deflecting and projecting and blaming everything else on other people. Accountability is so hard for people who refuse to grow.
People like that just don't succeed for very long if at all unless they get professional help.
Gabby strikes me as an angsty teen that never grew past that stage. Kinda sad but at this point, no point in giving it a platform. It'll just keep collapsing til it's not really that big of a deal.

If anybody wants to check out, it is explained / shown in the character of Gail Wynand on The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. The book is terribly problematic in many of its plots, characters and attitudes, but Wynan examplifies somebody at the top of their game who thought they are in control but actually they've just been feeding the worst in human nature, so when push comes to shove Wynand realised the public is in control. Nothing to prevent the public to stop buying his newspaper or as in Hanna's case, not following what she is doing.
