This looks fantastic, thank you for this! So inspiring!
absolutely amazing, thank you for these insights. just wow !
eey, thanks for the support
one more great tutorial, keep it up bro
Appreciate it!
Useful information. 👍👍👍 Thanks.
Thankyou
For some reason I can’t see the texture in cycles mode. Is there a way to fix this?
Ok, I find out why. I forgot to connect the Group output node!😅
Wonderful Tutorial, thank you for all your work on this. I'm encountering an issue when I move the curve key frames back into there original position all my points fall together... 5:01
Maybe u are connecting to the position input
Very very cool!
Thank you! Cheers!
brilliant
Some of the points are missing maybe because my whole ground is falling continuously with the parts that is close to curve 😢 4:50
this is fantastic but my ground keep falling even i followed all the steps can you help me please ?
Would this work if I wanted to use it as cracks going on the sides of a building or if I had a character walking causing the cracks?
Yes, it should
it is insane how much you can do when you are creative with these nodes! I really need to get a computer that can handle more than the most basic Geo nodes!! :\
What r ur pc specs
@@TopChannel1on1 it is a pc from 2017
16 gb ram, Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 Ti
Intel Core i5-7600
To be fair, I know practically nothing about computers.
thats sounds good enough for most things, you wont have as much detail but it can work@@AwkwardPain
I was really hoping that you would start making these tutorial videos again. I am so happy that you have done this. Thank you so much!
I followed everything exactly and it worked wonderfully! Then I saved and went to rendered view and back to solid shading view and it all broke. Didn't touch any nodes and now everything just falls and the pieces are all rotating like crazy even though I have all the proper rotation nodes hooked up and such. Are geo nodes buggy? :(((
its hard to tell without looking at your project
yes, nodes and scale does matter i guess
Are you using a plug in or something to bring up the shading random option when asigning random colors to the chunks? I'm looking all over how to bring that menu up and says it does not exist.
It's under viewport shading
@@TopChannel1on1 Omg, I looked right over it, thanks.
@@TopChannel1on1 How do I get the instance points to look larger so I can see them. Mine are extremely faint and tiny, hard to see them movie to see if it's working or not
@@TopChannel1on1 It is showing a solid plain under the curves, all smaller in the center of the fractured areas. I can't separate and delete it since it doesn't exist in the collections or the nodes. Everything was working fine until I did the instances on paths and now it's all messed up. It doesn't even have the curves extending and fractures falling with the curves anymore either, just all falls at once around the path as if fully extended. Blender also keeps bugging out and making the entire plain fall and forcing me to scrub back and forth 2432 times before it works normally, and then goes back to the entire plain falling and making me scrub back and forth a ton again to get it to show properly....actually nope, it won't playback correctly, if I do playback the entire plain falls. It will only show correctly if I grab the playhead and frantically move it back and forth, but once I let go, the entire plain falls.........Update to this, I reported it as a bug and sent video to blender developer forums and they confirmed it is a bug. For anyone else that has this issue and sees this. Tried in 4.0 and 4.1 alpha =/ So just have to wait I guess. It does work 99% using Edge or Points in Geometry Proximity instead, except it drops a fracture point at the other curves at frame one when it's not supposed to, they confirmed all of it, so have to wait it out, but at least those two options gets 99% of the fractures from falling right away.
Hi Esmi great tuts as usual. One qns what is name of the node with title Add that you used to combine at 4.27 - 4.28 ? can't seem to find it
The math nod3
@@TopChannel1on1 thanks🙏🏿
not working everything falls
Same for me. I seem to have inconsistent results depending on how I scrub the timeline along - if I give it a big wiggle, the simulation acts as expected as I drag it along. But if I click play, or even bake the node, everything breaks and all the geometry just rotates to its maximum & falls down
@@robbuxton2242 u can bake node ? with 4.0 ?
