Summary:
Star Wars has some huge ships, and this extends to Republic as they operated in the Clone Wars.
Below are the five included ships, though **out of order**! Watch the video to learn more and to see which ship comes out on top!
1. The Venator Class Star Destroyer: The most famous of the Republic ships, the Venator was an early Star Destroyer + transport ship hybrid which made up much of the Republic's navy. The ship would later serve as the basis for one of the most famous Star Wars ships - the Imperial Star Destroyer
2. The Imperial Star Destroyer: Although, at the time it was known as the Imperator Star Destroyer, we all know Star Wars' most well known capital ship as the Imperial.
3. The Mandator Star Dreadnought: The Mandator was the only true dreadnought used by the Republic. Arguably the first Super Star Destroyer, the Mandator I Dreadnought was revived for the Clone Wars, and later replaced by the Mandator II. The Empire would continue the line of ships with the Mandator III and, what is argue is essentially the same ship, the Bellator Super Star Destroyer.
4. The Dreadnought Heavy Cruiser: Despite what the name suggests, the Dreadnought was actually on the smaller side. Still, powerful weaponry and a strong hull made the Dreadnought a force to be reckoned with.
5. The Praetor Class Battleship: Another old but large ship, like the Mandator I, the Praetor was 4km long but also from the days of the Old Republic. We know little of the ship line, other than that a Praetor power generator would serve to power Echo Base on Hoth! - Zábava
Missed opportunity: in The Clone Wars series, there should've been a scene where Anakin and Ahsoka or Obi-Wan board a brand new Imperator or Victory class Star Destroyer and after participating a major battle, Anakin would've said "This cruiser is interesting. I am looking forward to see more of these in the future!"

I´d name my ship the "whatship" and my secondary vessel would be the "noship"! .... to cause confusion on the enemy bridge

captain:" Yes there is! I can see it through the window! Is something wrong with the sensors?"
third bridge officer:" Sir! Noship is opening fire at us!"

The venator class ships were always one of my personal favorites.
I would name it "The Overcompensator"
I would name my ship " Cotton Eye Joe" and just blast that song on loop whenever i go into battle

I think it fits much better for the droid crew then for a thousand of clones which blast themself their heads off.

This is the only problem I have with the space battles of The Clone Wars series, the republic navy lacked the ship variety they evidently had.

Easy, I would name my Mandator II the “Indefatigable.” This is the name of one of my favorite ships from the series I am reading (Horatio Hornblower).

Good list. I feel bad that the Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser is so outdated. I think it's a fantastic ship, and just needs some updates to its design, as well as modern technology. I think if properly redesigned, it could either be a very versatile ship, or a specialized ship that does one job extremely well.

The mandator needed a huge support fleet because it had very short range since it was meant to defend the kuat system and had almost no fuel reserve for long range travel.

I'd christen my Mandator the "Guiding Hand" as a single Mandator could have turned the tide of almost any battle during the Clone Wars. The ship was a total beast.

I would name my ship "Peacekeeper" and I have several reasons for this.
1. My Jedi belongs to the Guardian branch of the Jedi order, and the Guardian sub-branch of Peacekeepers. Before the Clone Wars began Jedi Peacekeepers worked with police and militia forces on planets belonging to The Galactic Republic, arresting criminals and taking down illegal organizations. (I picture the Jedi Peacekeepers like US Marshals. Always on the go, moving to immediately go after another fugitive once the one they were after is caught.)
2. My Jedi and his fleet would be on the front line. Fighting the Separatists, trying to restore order and peace to the galaxy.
3. My Jedi believes in the saying peace through superior firepower.

There is a model of the Procuator class Battlecruiser in the Star Wars Warlords mod for the Homeworld Remastered Collection and godamn that ship had a lot of firepower.
I would give back to high command and get a fleet of 4 Venator-Class SDs. I'm kinda obsessed with them. There's quite a few scenes in SWTCW where there's a fleet of Separatists that outnumber the Republic fleet, but the Republic wins due the sheer power of the Venator's 8 turbolaser batteries. Then I would name them the Democracy, the Adventurer, the Angelic, and the Nobility.
