I have worked my whole adult life in logistics or distribution centres and never see nice women truck drivers, maybe 1 or 2 ever.
Being a trucker for the last 20 years I'm Glad to see this young lady is actually showing the kinda crap we all go through everyday, having said this I hope this inspires the younger generation of men and women to drive.
I was a team driver with my hubs in the early 2000s and its good to see a really compitent young woman doing the job
Surprised to see a woman who looks the way she does as a truck driver. No offense to anyone, I am rather shocked and impressed at the same time. Working on paperwork, then Im hoping to start trucking school within the next month. I'm inspired for sure

Positions like that only if you live near a hub, have an inroad to a local company in a well off part of the country, or have been in the industry forever with a resume that will knock aside the thousand other applicants.

@@lj8952 FedEx doesn't pay that well. An average truck driver salary for FedEx (though this may be for the smaller delivery trucks) is about $40K or so, depending on your area of the country. That's not rich. The average pay rate in the US as a whole is about $24+ an hour and that's the national average.

Several times I went with him out on the road, a month at a time, so watching your videos kind of takes me back to when we were together on the road. You have a good spirit about you young lady. I was an OTR driver for almost 3 yrs., you make women proud!
I really enjoyed this video.This young lady has courage presence, great attitude, personality, chutzpa! Going through all the ups and downs of life on the road. This job is incredibly tough and yet very rewarding and even addictive. She did an excellent job conveying that.

I stopped in a rest area maybe two years ago and it was at night, A double bottom FEDEX truck pulled in and a tiny blond got out and I am thinking it was you. I was so proud of you being able to handle a rig like that. Love seeing lady drivers.

Showers are at truck stops and usually free with a fuel up before i got sick i was a female solo driver i also had a portable camping toilet in my truck a coffee pot several other appliances and a cat it’s only hard if you let it be

The editing is Excellent and some of the best But this work is done everyday 365 days a year by literally hundreds of thousands of drivers. Not sure the TV channels have much interest in this type of stuff that just about every trucker does.

Arizona Ranger driving trucks is a big responsibility and it’s harder than you perceive it to be... not just that, without people with CDL’s or Class A licenses, we wouldn’t be able to live efficiently...

Your videos are excellent. Very informative. I'm thinking about going to truck driving school and take up this life. About 20 years ago I met a woman who was a truck driver. She seemed to really like it. Ever since I've always thought, well, if she could do it, so can I. It is very helpful watching your videos and seeing what life is like on the road. I would definitely bring a dog with me, too. :D

I use the app smart truck route 2. Never led me wrong yet in 2 years. You can put it in satellite mode and zoom in on your destination just like Google maps.. well the overhead view. I'm sure I have your own ways. But just an option. Stay safe out there driver. Much respect.
I'm researching how over the road truckers do their job, and I appreciate your video very much. I'm going to add your video to the Resources in the back of my next novel, which is going to be about blizzard preparedness and involving an OTR trucker and his wife and dog ... thank you so much! And I'm so proud of you! ( I can back up a small trailer using mirrors now, and I'm impressed with how you need to do this with a huge trailer while going around obstacles like posts and illegally parked cars.)

my wife and i used to deliver freight all over the country in a sprinter van about 8 years ago. it wasn't easy being women in this industry, but it was the favorite job we ever had. we only stopped because my wife had an accident and is now disabled. our dog used to go with us too. it was so cool to see so many places and meet so many people. the fact that you're doing it in a semi is even more awesome. good for you!

Why do you make the most miserable job look so fun lol? I was over the road for the last 3 years and I hated my life, I'm now a local driver, and I'm loving the quality of life.
Straight up. Did in for 4 years straight, stayed out 6-8 weeks, had 7 days off then back at it. Now I'm local, tons of experience and will never do OTR unless I have literally no other choice. In the end I can say that OTR allowed me to make a decent living but it still sucked ass.

I’m a driver and I own and run my company, got my son into it he became a dispatcher bought him a truck and he’s growing and I’m growing, I do 2-3 trips a month I’m trying to buy a truck to run logbook manual, I think it’s ok.
My father has been a truck driver for many, many years. It's great to see more women working in a very male-dominated industry. I wish you safe miles and am looking forward to the videos to come.

I started driving 22 years ago and took my Doberman Pinscher everywhere with me. I ran a flatbed from the Southeast (Alabama) to the Midwest. Two runs to mostly Ohio every week. I took lumber up north and brought steel back down south. Keep on trucking! You rock🙂

@@thedream1015 truck driving has made me a good living. I have no complaints but it is what you make it. I used to drive OTR and now I'm local. I prefer night shift but I'm home daily.

As a person who drove trucks for five years, I’ll be honest, if I saw her pulling up at a truck stop and seeing her getting out of the truck, I’d be like “Oh shit, wow!”

What is great is fur buddy gets to travel and be with you and your driving across the usa. So cool. You should get like one of those "skateboard handle scooter thingy's" when you must walk the whole building trying to find different locations but hey, its a good workout since you're sitting so much.
