why do truckers always look like truckers
Lol I dunno man why do ducks always look like ducks
Because theyâre truckers duuuh you from Floriduuuuh??
Lol
Why do Kung fu masters, look like Kung fu masters
I think it's maybe because they're truckers?
Back in the 90âs when I was still a fairly new driver, I was heading south on 75 and had just made it through Detroit when I blew a radiator hose and lost all my coolant. This was before cell phones so I was kinda stuck on the side of the road. One of these Reliable large cars pull up behind me and the driver asked if I needed some help. I told him what happened and he said âcome on, Iâll take ya down to the Detroiter truck stop and weâll see if you can get a new hose. I got what I needed and told the driver how much I appreciated the ride and the help and that Iâd call a cab to take me back to my truck. He said oh donât do that. Come on Iâll take ya back to your truck. He drove north to the exit past where I was parked, turned that big rig around in a Kroger parking lot and then proceeded to help me splice the old hose and fill up my radiator. I offered to pay him for his time and he wouldnât even consider it. We shook hands and he went on his way. In the past 25+ years, I have yet to run into him anywhere. I wish I had got his name. He was driving a long hood Pete with one of the giant sleepers and I recall his truck was the first I had seen with hardwood floors. Iâd love to know who he is and if he happens to still be out on the road Iâd love to buy him dinner. Just a fantastic human being
This is so nice!!!!! What a great story, thank you for sharing. Our drivers are what make our company so great.
Live down the road from the Detroiter truck stop!
This is a great story, and a true trucker. Not what is known as a cowboy in Australia. Hope you do catch up with him one day. Stay safe out there and keep the shiny side up.
âSo I guess you are the guy from and in that nice story đâ@williamyekin8639
That's old school trucker
Rick seems like a good guy and heâs happy in his job. We need more Rickâs.
So say we all!
& who R u?
We need more better places to work as well!!!
Yeah totally - seemed very happy to be there and seemed a nice guy. We need more chilled big rig drivers.
These guys are the backbone of America they drive heavy dangerous trucks so we can have the amenities and society we have. Iâm glad theyâre getting a little bit of the respect. They deserve thatâs far overdue.
The most impressive thing here is how much respect he has for his job and employer. Yall must treat them right.
That's because he is fairly new to the job, give it a few years. Lol I'm just joking around, he is lucky to have such a great job. Not too many of those anymore. Plus since he owns his own house on wheels he's probably banking too.
Notice the name of the uploader? Of course hes respectful or he would be unemployed.
Having a shower in the cab is THE MOST convenient part of that entire truck.
Are reliable the owner of reliable transport John Ledford Senior well I'll say hi to him you want a new one or you going to yeah let me know yeah we'll find will finance it for you hey okay Delon yeah I'll buy it from you Michael trucks how many miles you got on that now well yeah it takes about 6 to 8 weeks yeah how about 11:20 here in last 2 weeks yeah it's a yeah I'm very nice lady yeah pretty nice deal though yeah just John Ledford Senior if somebody's not doing something yeah and you don't feel let me know better not for sale her name is Karen
I'm disappointed that he didn't show the bathroom
@@ItsMeYourRealDadperhaps had a messy dump earlier. Needs to scrub that panđđđ
@@ItsMeYourRealDad yeah, that's one of the main 'money shots' of these vids!
@@ItsMeYourRealDadprobs caught a body lol
I really enjoyed this video. I really liked seeing a hard working humble man be so proud of his job and his rig and taking the time to give us a tour.
So true! Heâs a really good guy and weâre fortunate to have him on our team.
@@ReliableCarriershopefully your company also provides him with enough PTO to get some time out of the truck. Employers that romance, their employees have employees that romance your customers. Itâs a win win win!!
Good men like Rick are rare and it's nice to see him happy and well taken care of. I'm glad he's getting what he wants. Truckers like him are invaluable to society.
Very well said. Iâm a white collar yuppie that canât relate to Rickâs life or profession, but damnit I appreciate his kind demeanor and pride in his work.
This man is a natural in front of the camera. Heâs really an excellent host. Well done.
Protect this man at all cost! A real, humble hard working human.
Talk about a refreshing video. No clue how this popped on my feed, but sure glad I got to see a dude happy with his job and appreciative of it all.
Same! Iâm a white collar yuppie that watches videos of fart jokes and pretentious podcasts on CZcams. This is the best video Iâve seen on CZcams in a long while.
Yâall protect this man/employee at all costs. We need more Ricks!
Ladies and gentlemen, an honest man on his grind for his family. God bless from Japan.
Pretty cool rig but what im impressed by is how happy he seems with his job and employer. Must be a well run organization and they probably pay well too. Great to see!
seems like a nice guy which is the most important thing. How many guys are looking forward to the moment they can take their wives on the job. You have my respect sir.
The world needs more people like you
The mans humility is Gold. As they say ' An idle mind is the devils workshop'- two hands
on the wheel brother, love your work!!
Beautiful truck!!
Thankful for all of the truckers like Rick that keep this country running!
What I really like about these videos, is that this company puts the spotlight on the life of its employees! This instead of the service the company provides.
Great to see people being respected in this way!

My best friend drove for Reliable. He loves trains and had a train nick-name they would refer to him by.
I use to ride with him from time to time, I'm a non-trucker.......but Reliable is an impressive outfit.
I wish Reliable Carriers, much success and all their drivers, the protection and safety the good lord can provide.
Thank you! đ§Ą
The European mind canât comprehend this kind of elegance.
honestly i had no idea this optimus prime was real
lol
What a wonderful guy! You can see and hesr the joy and pride he has in drivinf that truck! I hope him and his wife get to see all kinds of cool things when she retires and goes out on the road with him!
The world needs more Rick's.
I love how proud he is of his truck. And how hard he worked to gain the experience to get hired with reliable. A pros pro!
Congratulations on all of your success.
Thank you for taking time out to share your passion with us.
Thank you for keeping America moving. Best to you and your wife! Be safe out there on the roads
This man is a natural in front of the camera
Awesome!! This man worked hard for this achievement. How wonderful for him!
As someone who was a drivers-mate for a while in the UK... This blows my mind. There was me thinking I had it good being in a cab with beds. My god this is awesome!
A great, wholesome video. We need more Rick's in the world! What a champion.
Never thought Iâd be watching a video like this, but Rick gives me hope. Man! If the whole world was like Rick it would be a paradise
if you know, you know....THIS is the kind of guy you want hauling for you! Someone who is knowledgeable, experienced, and has fun doing the job! Make sure you all learn to flash your lights to let these guys change lanes in front of you on the freeway, they may even blink their lights to thank you!
They haul some nice cars and they haul them in beautiful trucks. What an organization that provides a service thatâs first class!!
Nothing says cheap like orange.
â@@Look_What_You_Did nothing says empty woman like a woman covered in a 2 inch layer of make-up to hide your deep insecurities đ
Y'all can thank Rick for getting everything you own to your destination! Thanks Rick!
Thank you, Rick, for delivering my groceries to Walmart.
I've seen these trucks all the time, never paid much attention to them. UNTIL THIS VIDEO POPPED UP!! This guy and company look like good people.
I drove for over 30 yrs and never drove a beautiful truck like that awesome â€
What a wholesome human being. I hope everything works out well for you.
What a cool truck! So glad this gentleman has some comfort on those long hauls. Thank you truckers! Lifeblood of America, you and the Train operators!
I literally couldn't imagine someone looking more like a truck driver than this guy
Being from the UK I have NEVER seen anything like this on a truck before. I'm amazed. Americans always do things bigger and better (sometimesđ€Ł).
God bless Rick!! He seems like such an awesome person who also loves his job. I'm so happy for him that after many years he got the job he worked towards and wanted for so long. Hey employers, see what happens when you take care of your people! Reliable does it right!
Im a bit of a loner with a cabin in the woods and this truck gives me the same feeling looking at this video and makes me want to be a truck driver đ
So what you hauling today...... Well 10 cars and litterally the kitchen sink!!. What a machine!
What a super endorsement of what seems like a pretty neat company. Encouraged enthusiasm is easy to spot. Rick shared not only his personal space but a hint as to what sort of man he is. I'm super pleased to see this opportunity working so well for him and his wife. Way to go Rick! Stay safe!
This guys a freaking American hero. Hell yeah. Thank you!
Good for you! It's nice to see someone enjoy what they do
That cab and sleeper is roomier and nicer than a lot of NYC apartments! Rick is awesome. I really like his personality and his love for his job and truck!
My grandpa would've loved that truck. He was President of the Louisiana Trucking Association back in the 80's and 90's. His name was Joe or Joseph Jeanson.
I work for an OEM and we use Reliable for all our important vehicle moves. Iâve always wondered what the sleeper cabs looked like inside so thanks for sharing. Very impressive and on par with a well-equipped motor home.
Would love to sit down across from Rick at his favorite stop on the road and just listen to all his stories. Such a genuine, gentle, and humble guy. I hope his wife can retire like he mentioned because the way he lit up just talking about her makes me think nothing would bring him more joy than having her by his side on the road. The woman he loves and a job he loves. What more could anyone ask for?
That's a nice ride. The W900's are a great truck. I drove for 40 years. Back in the 90's I hauled cars for almost four years.
I hauled 10 cars but it wasn't an enclosed trailer. I loved hauling cars but being recently married at the time, and my son
just being born, it was time to stay closer to home...
I remember seeing Reliable trucks running down the road over the years, and it seemed like the trucks were always nice.
The condo on Ricks truck would be really nice. So much nicer than being crammed into a 36 inch sleeper and having
to shower in truck stops or motels.
In the past I did deal with car haulers everyone was nice. I have never seen an enclosed trailers before and the inside is very nice. If I was lost and saw a car hauler I knew I could get the help I needed. I miss those guys they were like family. This guy is a rare find not many out there. So, stay safe, warm/cool, and blessings.
That guy seems cool as hell just a nice guy!!!
AWESOME RIG !!! * Truckers are the backbone of our economy !!!
That is the sweetest living area I have ever seen in a truck, thank you for showing it
We don't have this kind of sleeper here in the UK. It makes trucking so much better. Great video, thanks.
i think its to do with the tight turns on b roads and the length restrictions including trailers. I"m no expert but i think that would be why Im from scotland btw so it defo wouldnt work around here but maybe on m roads
@@BuckfastTonicyup, these type of long nose semi trucks are too big for European roads. That's why most European trucks are cabover.
Itâs American vs European trucking regulations. Used to be be same.. overall length of the consist.. which is why you had cabovers in the US in the 60s and 70s. Now itâs just the trailer which means that sleepers and long noses donât need to be counted.
And sleepers are essential for the distances American truckers drive and the long nose improves quietness, vibration, and safety.
You still see cab overs in the US but they are for short distance inner city jobs.
@@calvinnickel9995 some EU truckers also are away from home for weeks at a time... nothing to do with distance for us, since 2000 miles a week isnt that much... but more of the fact that the bosses make more money if you sleep in the cab so you can work more
â@@dannyallroundsounds like we take trucker safety more seriously.
Nice guy ! All the best for him
Canton Ohio; grew up there born in 1950. Miss the old haunts. Nice 'home-away-from-home'. Stay safe be happy!
When you enjoy going to work and doing what you do then it doesn't feel like work, Thanks for tour inside that monster :)
One nice thing about Rick having his own 'camper' are (2) things: (1) less cost spent on motel rooms and whatnot when he's traveling; and, (2) his 'camper' is safe and clean that's custom to him; he doesn't have to worry too much about someone breaking into a motel room that he has no control over - with his 'camper', he does. A happy trucker is a safe trucker.
Incredible truck. I can imagine how many miles you do across America. Safe truckin fella from đŹđ§.
That truck is bigger than my first flat!
I can only imagine the absolute carnage that would be caused driving this on UK roads đ
Imagine that on the M6 heading south during the Monday morning commute, just pulling out of the Charnock Richard Services and joining the flow :)
Rick is proof that hard work pays off don't expect to leave driving school and get a vehicle like that off the get go, good work pays off
Huge respect for Rick. He is the backbone of America.
nice rig. cool trucker. i guess a good company with staff so happy
Thanks for the tour of your home-on-wheels, Rick.
Man, he is flexing. Itâs like a full-size luxury RV!
God bless this man on the road.
Damn! I just came across this Video and couldnât stop watching! That is one BADASS rig!! Iâve never seen one like that before! And Rick seems like a really cool down to earth dude!
now thats a southern gentleman, such a nice fella.
When enjoy what you do it shows,, that's a luxurious mini home
Huge respect to guys like Rick! The Heartbeat of America and the free world! Please let them merge when they signal on the highways and by ways
Congratulations on achieving your goal, Driver! Who said hard work and determination doesnât pay off? I spent years on the road as both a Company Driver and an O/O and it never gets old seeing a brother succeed in his profession. Smooth roads and safe travels to you!
All I can say is WOW!! Thank you for the tour. Happy trails.đ
Me & husband watch CZcams befowe go to sleep.
Well, weâve just decided to cancel our dream of going Opal hunting in Australia in favour of coming to America & working for Reliable!
What fantastic trucks, the staff & truckers & everything about this company seem absolutely wonderful.
Not often you see workers enjoying their jobs so much. Just shows if you manage a company well & look after your staff you'll rewarded.
Well done Reliable.
Stay away.
He started out nervous but man he blossomed into the job. Iâll bet heâs a fabulous employee and that truck is amazing.
Never heard of this company but this video makes mw very happy we still have companies like this! So dope
I live in a Camper that size! And I love it. So I just need to find away to make a living with it now! Very nice Rig! Thanks for the tour and stay safe out there my friend!đđ»đ
If I ever need to ship a car, I hope this guy shows up.
Man not a truck driver at all. But the integrity and genuineness of Rick makes me want to do better in the industry I work in. God bless you sir! More life and success to you and yours â€ïž
Thats a happy driver kudos to y'all
Gosh, I've not seen anything like it. So glad you stuck with it and got the job.
Nice ride!! Enjoy!! Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!!
Thanks mate awesome tour magic accomodation ! Hi from New Zealand .
You guys have awesome trucks! Itâs great to see the Reliable carriers at work bring in our cars from NJ! Always a cool sight!
I've told my friends and family,....no trucks,....no nothing. Trucks and all of the great drivers deliver everything that we need, want and must have. No trucks and drivers, no gas, no food, no everything that we need and use. God Bless the truckers. Keep them safe and thank them
Be like Rick, Thank you sir for your dedication and hard work!
Rick seems like an awesome genuine human!
Thank you for sharing your incredible cab and sleeper, Sir. All credit to you for achieving your dream job, Rick. May you have many miles of safe trucking ahead đ€
All right! Nice run down and a great thumbs up for Reliable!
Thanks, Rick! Sweet rig and amazing job/ company!
Thanks Rick. Awesome set up you've got there.
Stay safe on the road. We will be going thru some difficult times. Your job is not easy. Without out truckers we wouldnât have our products. Thank you
This is the most wholesome thing I have seen on CZcams in ages and i loved it thank you đđ»
Any company would be proud to have this gentleman represent them..
Thank you for a most enlightening review of your rig. Beautiful, and you are just so proud of it. Atta-Boy!
This genuinely looks like a awesome job! I could appreciate a man who loves his work!
