Love when a review starts with "oh just drew a bit of blood" only a minute and a half into the review! Haha love your honesty and useful feedback that I HOPE the company is listening to with ears wide open...!
That clutch, thought it was someone playing Jazz in the background.Love your videos, keep up the great contents Karl.✌👍
lol Not great is it!
A review with injuries!!! What a trooper Karl!!!!!
Getting into sim racing and rallying with my G29 which is arriving soon after watching the review you're the best channel, sticking around for the rest of the videos. Keep it up mate 😎
This is a preferred channel for g29 or g920 regarding game settings and brake modifications using common household items.
Thanks fella's.
Thanks for the honest and thorough review.
No problem 👍
there is an improved version of these pedals
Just got these pedals and can confirm none of these issues persist, the clutch pedal is a totally different unit for the most now.
Good to know!
Great honest review. Glad to hear more people speak out about the lack of R&D from the newer makers of sim gear. Makes you wonder if they dont R&D before the product if they will do anything to make them better once they have been released.
They say they will take my feedback and improve them, I guess we'll see!
Hey Karl hope you are doing good! I really enjoy your content thanks for your informative videos. Do you plan on doing any Sim Magic reviews? I am thinking of purchasing the alpha mini and D shaped GT rim. Like I stated earlier I really appreciate your honesty in your reviews. Thanks!
Only if they get in touch and want me to, my channel is small so buying stuff like that in is a bit out of my budget for now.
I was actually thinking of buying one of these ... thanks, i might wait for the v2
Yeah don't do it mate.
You might wait for the V2? V2 of these these pedals?
Very good review, thank you!
My pleasure!
almost bought into the hype of moza but watched this and the wheel base review. and i pumped the brakes on it. cheers
No worries mate.
Great video and thank you for all the information, upon looking at other reviews the spring on the clutch doesnt seem to be there I first noticed this on the Sim Racing Garage review of these pedals. This makes me wounder if Moza has listened and took action.
I was one of the first to get this stuff so I think lots of changed may have been made now.
@@KarlGosling Understand thanks for the reply Karl. Now back to the drawing board to plan my simrig setup.
Make a new review with updated version of these
So the ones in the video are in fact verison 1? If so that’s good news. Finally a video that shows clutch stages a lot. Looking forward to getting my crp pedal delivered.
Whenever I plug in my pedals they work for a slit second then stop working. Can anyone please help me with this?
Hey Karl, have they sent you the updated ones. Lots of positive feedback from the new update
No mate they have not.
V2 still has side to side play on the break pedal, just be aware of that.
Is it better than a g27?
I have a chance at a free Bundle . So should I sell it to an Unknowing victim?
Like a spring door stopper. Are they calling it a preproduction model?
No mate, retail release.
What do you think of the v3 version? They have fixed clutch pedal, brake looks the same, and accelerator also looks the same. The base won't cut you anymore xD. Do you think it's worth it now? Which do you recommend Moza CRP or Asetek Forte?
I've not tried them mate, I don't think they liked my honest review so have not sent me anything else.... but Asetek are very well made products, night and day to these.
@@KarlGosling Thanks mate, in that case I'll go for the Asetek forte. They made me a little behind not being able to separate the pedals from each other, and the little travel of the brake, I don't know if they made less travel in some street cars or in euro truck simulator for example, I hope not. Thank you
Thanks for review some could of been caught out by the looks and wasted money on these
Good unbiased review! There should be more like you... Thanks!
I appreciate that!
Will fanatec pedals be compatible with Moza RS-V2 motor??
On PC everything is compatible with everything mate.
@@KarlGosling oh didn’t know! I’m new to sim racing but love it. Does the issues in the video still apply today a year later? I wanted to get these :(
Just found you channel, great content, subbed aswell :)
Welcome aboard!
Hi Karl, It appears you missed the A when writing CRP... 🙂
The irony of their acronym choice did not escape me either Barry! lol
How can anyone possibly release these pedals knowing the existing quality of items on the market, only to make them substantially more shit and much more expensive! Haha
Btw, Karl, thank you for your discount code. Bought myself a GT Omega Titan over the Black Friday period, your discount applied on top of the black Friday deal saving me a further £25 or so , much appreciated
Oh thats a bonus, discounts don't usually stack so thats great! :)
So it's the same case as with everything coming from ASIA - great machining is not everything, computers do that perfectly now. It's those final steps, final attention to details. Recently I've purchased the Fanatec V3 pedals - incredible machining and overall finish quality, however the lubrication was not right and the tolerances are quite loose. After disassembling the pedals and fitting the brass bushing TIGHTLY into the pedal bodies (so that they are not loose and dont rotate in relation to the pedal body, only the whole assembly rotates on the steel shaft) and greasing everything properly I can feel a HUGE HUGE difference in the feel of the pedals. More precise, smoother and "tight" feeling.
Mate, love you review. Just nah don’t bother…lol straight to it. Love it.
Only way to be mate! :)
👍👍👏👏
damn those pedals sound crunchy XDDD not always a new brand is a good brand
Try the cammus to Karl thanks
If you loosen the two top bolts on the rear back of the clutch section it allows it to rotate slightly so the bolt moves in and out easier. Admittedly you shouldn't have to on a new set of pedals I guess
No you shouldn't... and that will only solve one of the many issues! lol
Were these version 1 or 2?
Look at the date of the video mate, these were the first release.
i find the foot plate too short and front edge sharp which cut my feet
Cut my arm in this very review mate! lol
@@KarlGosling yeah a really nasty "GASH "lol
i'm gonna keep this short, oh really!!
I did m best! lol
For the price I’m so happy I never got these
Judging by your review they missed out the "a" in the CRP name.
This was my first thought too! lol
The video was sponsored by Fanatec! :D :D :D
Did they also sharpen the edges of the pedals and pay me to cut myself on them?
This company doesn’t care about sim racing. They just wanna get in on the action.
AVOID Moza at all costs. I have had issues with this set of pedals since day one. I have contacted their support team and 3 weeks later, they have replied 2 times only, to what is equivalent of a few lines of text. The only way they will respond to your issues at the support team, is to PM their facebook page. I asked if I was being played, as they seem to want to help, but not really. They are now completely ignoring me. (Mind you it is under a 2 year warranty being a few days old only.)
Moza is pathetic.
good review problem is they fixed all that now. so not good review any more outdated please remove vide
o. i know u want to make money off your video but do us a faver and remove this video
Sad to say, but if you are sponsored by fanatec it can't a 100% unbiast vidéo
I'm not sponsored by anybody, there's a Moza affiliate link in the description along with Fanatec and many other manufactures too... GT Omega, Asetek, Sim Hound, SRS, RAH, Sim Lab, etc. etc.
@@KarlGosling great video afterall
Moza CRP pedals stands for CRAP!!!!
Loooove my crp's more than my simagic p1000s
