    From my experience for more than half a year with these pedals I can point out some failures that have arisen throughout their use:
    The throttle preload nut hits directly against the pedal body if it is not screwed in enough.
    The throttle bearing that joins the damper stem ring to the pedal body is slightly oversized, so the throttle body wobbles worryingly.
    The clutch pedal bearing dampers end up coming out of where they should be, generating a bit more pedal travel and overall noise. After all, I'm still happy with them. Their construction is robust, they allow me to adapt with very satisfactory results to the position of my feet and the feeling they transmit is pleasant.

    I have the crp since about 6 months and totally agree. The design is pleasant, good rigidity, but they are a nightmare to change settings. Especially if you don't do it immediately, they don't put grease on the factory, and every thing get stuck, i had to use a hammer. I use red spring and medium elastomer, i think the best combo available but not yet 100% satisfying.

    Judging by yours and others impressions these pedals are very clearly a first attempt with good intentions. Build quality and adjustability wise these seem top notch. It looks like they put a lot of thought into the design but missed the mark slightly in some key areas like brake feel and long term durability. All issues easily ironed out in a V2 set. Sometimes the only way to make a great product is to see how and where a V1 fails in the real world and under real use before fully remediating all those issues with a V2 model. Hopefully they’ll release a V2 model soon as these are really not up to the standard of their high end wheelbases. By the sounds of it the fanatec csl elite v2s are a more competitive option because of the fantastic brake pedal they are known to offer.

      Hey buddy, if we talk performance wise there is zero difference between any of those high end pedals! Ones you get used to the new pressure which need some learning curve coming from Logitech then they all perform the same lap times wise! I have tested many different and never saw declines or improvement of my laps! The difference between those is mostly feeling and adjustability!

  • @coyoterangersmedia5263

    Just to clarify. The red spring and the "hard" rubber for the brake pedal, is the hardest setting you can achieve ? Roughly how many KGs of resistance has this hardest setting got ? And can you adjust brake pedal travel ?
    I actually already have the pedals lol
    Im building my sim rig part by part and those pedals are the first I bought. They were running out of stock really fast and I really really loved their aesthetic, also heard they're good. Im exceptionally happy to see you've got a good opinion of them !
    I haven't used them yet, since my rig isn't built. But when I use them I'll be coming from a set of Logitech g29, so I can't wait to notice the difference in performance

    • @chepilevski
      @chepilevski  Před rokem +4

      Hey buddy, the Red spring is the hardest and must be up to 40-50kg and the hardest elastomer is probably up to 80-90kg as i really need to push full power to achieve maximum load ! If you are coming from Logitech I can assure you even the stock settings will feel hard for you in the beginning but I would suggest to go straight to the red spring and get used to it for few weeks and train your muscles , it will help you in long term! The travel of the brake can be adjusted from the spring screw adding some preload just as on the throttle but!
      The pedals are absolutely great for the price and except of the bit more difficult adjustments from the other expensive solutions, they really can offer everything you will need !

    I have the SRP (not light) pedals and have maintained from the day that they arrived the brake pedal feel is like a car where the brakes need bleeding in real life. Just far too much travel. I have yet to get th best out of any brakes that I have tried to be honest but you do really need a good starting point. As a result I have ended up with the upgaded elastomer kit, with the original elastomer cut down to approximately 25%, strengthened and supported with a flat washer between them and the original and softest spring now compressed due to lack of travel. Its kind of annoying because I feel like it will never be right. But, its a vast improvement on what it was like. Another great video as usual that I can confidently hit the like button even before watching it.

    is anyone having issues with the clutch to where the games will only recognize the pedal if its at 100%? i calibrated it hundreds of times and have no clue why its doing that. makes road cars undriveable

      Wel, those are better pedals in build and have way more potential but are twice more expensive! There no doubt those are better choice if money are not a question!

    there's zero point clutches having this gimmicky bite point when they are never going to match up to the cars bite point in game, why do companies keep putting this gimmick in?

    • @chepilevski
      @chepilevski  Před rokem +1

      You can match that bite point in most of the sims I guess adding death zones! I do that for sure on iRacing and works good ! That’s being said, it is used just for the start at green light and then smashed it hard to change gears you can’t feel much of it 🤛

      @WhippyWhip years ago people asked for a bite point because no pedals had one now all have it but most don't do it right. Huesinkveld is the best ive felt clutch wise.

    The worst pedals I have ever owned. Ditched them and went Heusinkveld.

    Here in Australia mate.. Shits expensive and limited.. I went with bj load cells with the nitroflex. With discounts as a regular. Only a couple hundred more... These pedals have never appealed to me. Especially at the price..
