The two things you needed to do before removing the fuel pump . 1 is cleaning the area before removing fuel and 2 always have a drip pan to place the old fuel pump and fuel inside the pan..but you did good . As for me I been turning wrenches for over 35, years I'm a firetruck mechanic. Plus heavy Equipment. And police Interceptor units.
On my fuel pump i switched it and i notice that a green wire was cut now idk of thats wat causing it to give me code fuel level sensor / circuit but its not reading the gas on cluster
Hi Brandon, I have a 2013 Altima S, will the same fuel pump you purchased and replaced for your vehicle would that work on mine or do you have a recommendation? My mechanic told me its 600+ for the actual pump and I am not trying to pay that money
Hey Man! So actually you will need to use this fuel pump, amzn.to/32nTe14 . It is for your 13 model. Also definitely do it yourself, same exact process I use in this video and save $500! There isnt much you can mess up with this repair, trust me I would know lol
They are many symptoms, one you can hear the fuel pump engage, or driving and vehicle cuts off or Sputters , can disconnect main fuel line connected to fuel rail ,then have a someone turn the key 🔑 on the Ignition see if any fuel pours out. If nothing comes out then it's your fuel pump. Also disconnect fuel filters might Clogged up.hope this helps
