Get a brush and clean inside your disposal.I clean the food that gets on the gasket one a week. It will stink because those pods don’t clean the rubber. Wipe it or use a bottle brush. Love all your items on the haul. Love their brushes of all sizes.

I sued the plastic placemats in Marrakesh design (gorgeous blue) and cut them down to use as drawer liners in my bathroom. I taped several together (on the back side using packing tape) and lined the cabinet under the bathroom sink. I LOVE seeing the design when I open drawers and cabinet!
I have the blue and white dishes and get so many compliments and they last forever love them
I love Dollar Tree! I buy all my storage bags, garbage and trash bags, foils, wraps, and foil baking pans there. I buy kitchen tools, like the meat scruncher, spurtles, even thermometers. There are several food items I buy and save lots of money for items I would pay more for at the grocery store. I watch for new products and ideas and give them a try. I love the frozen raviolis, in a package perfect for two. I have even used them to create a lasagna using them. Just bought the frozen seasoning pack of veggies and the frozen peppers and onions to use in recipes. Discovered I like Texas Toast and have used it in several recipes. I watch several of the bloggers that do the reviews or do budget challenges and create menus and share recipes to try. I’m 75 and these younger folks have taught me new ways to use ingredients, how to stretch my budget, and try new recipes. Never too old to learn new things. Those foil looking plates or plaques would make a great addition to a floral design maybe for a wall hanging or to set a completed arrangement on. I bought several plastic baskets, all same color and size and have organized my pantry putting like items in each basket. It keeps my pantry much more organized and accessible. I can pull the basket partially out to reach items at the back. It makes inventory management much easier too. I will continue to shop at Dollar Tree and hope they will value customers enough to try to keep prices down.
I will never abandon Dollar Tree. I'm grateful they kept their prices at $1.00 for as long as they did. For years, in fact. Even with the new price increase (if this is true), most things are still a deal. Not all, but most. Thanks for a great video, Kiva. You are looking good.....and happy.

Some items in CA are over $1 now so I don’t know which one you’ve been too. Most stuff is now $1.25
@mindyscott4373 Hi Mindy, yes, all Dollar Tree's are $1.25 now. My point was, they held their prices to $1 for years, and then finally raised to $1.25 a year or so ago. And if they raise their prices, yet again, I'm fine with that as I appreciate them keeping it at $1 for such a long time when they didn't have to.

In the makeup look for the white package, black writing, plain packaging. They will say blush or eyeliner or such and will often be high end products inside. ($12 powdered lipstick from flower was my latest find)
Kiva.... I love you but Dollar Tree needs no encouragement to raise their prices. I'm sure price hikes are already in the plan once the 99¢ Stores close their doors.

@@MsMaxinejoy they're all closing their doors anyway Ms Maxine. Unfortunately there are thousands upon thousands who will be affected... Those who are forced to grocery shop at those stores exclusively will be forced to turn to grocery stores where prices are exponentially higher, employees who've spent decades of their lives working them. That's why I asked Kiva not to encourage them by saying how much she'd pay much more for items. She may only be speaking figuratively but Dollar Tree will listen and take her literally.
@@nuthinbutloveDollar Tree isn't going to raise prices based upon what an influencer says on social media. Dollar tree went from $1 to $1.25 and now many are going to $5. I was appalled recently when I saw an item that I bought for $1.25 now selling for $3. Also Dollar Tree Plus stores are expanding. The merchandise is supposed to be higher quality and the prices will be much higher too. Price hikes have been in the works long before the 99 cent stores closing or anyone talking about Dollar Tree on social media.

Never would I shop if their prices go up. I don’t buy the $5 stuff at all. I will go elsewhere. It DOES matter if they raise their prices - others stores are better at that point
Hi kiva, i WILL NEVER abandon Dollar Tree, oh, noooo, hahaha. I love this video, one thing i want you to know: when it comes to Dollar Trees, and other stores DEMOGRAPHIC matters, if that makes sense. Better neighborhood have better stuffs in their stores, thats why you hear some ppl say: "Oh, my Dollar tree doesnt have good stuffs like yours", why?: because of DEMOGRAPHIC. FYI 😉!!!!. There’s 24 Dollar Trees within my greater metropolitan area and none of them are in nicer neighborhoods. I didn’t even know they would put a Dollar Tree in a nice neighborhood.

Kiva, I love Dollar Tree. I now buy all of my greeting cards from there because they have Hallmark cards. You can get 2 for $1.00 or they have some for $1.00. Those prices did not increase. Hi Kiva! I have those glasses in my home that you held in your hand. My husband loves the large size.
I remember when the prices increased to $1.25. The clerk had asked what I thought about the increase. My response was, "It's about time." They were shocked. The employees aren't given fair wages. Think about it, prices are very low. Their profit margin must be small. Increase prices to pay employees. DT still needs to treat them better; safety concerns and pay.
I 100% agree with paying employees more!! They work Very Hard! They unload the truck, stock shelves, run the registers, keep the stores clean. They do it all and usually with a skeleton crew!! That is why some stores are messy or boxes are sitting unopened. They did not get a raise when prices went up last time and we all know DT is taking in some major money. I need to buy stock. 😅

I don't ever drive past a DT without stopping and I don't think I've left there emptyhanded more than a few times, either. I have a lot of fun reimagining things from what they are to what I can turn them into (same with Goodwill, until they jacked their prices so ridiculously), so that's the draw for me. I mostly shop the seasonal and craft items, but some of the food/snack and houseware products are a good deal, too.

I’m not sure why I have never come across your videos 🤷🏽♀, I love your energy (instant subscriber here). Great video. One of the things I took away was the sachets for the garbage. I had never thought of that. The beauty blender I use for my vynil when I’m craftying, I don’t use beauty blenders, I have four local Dollar Trees and I make my rounds on the weekends lol

Those glass storage jars with lids are so handy for kitchen or bathroom. You can also pour some of the fragrant sache mix/laundry fragrance into a small mesh square, wrap it with a small rubber band and pretty ribbon and hang it in your closet, put it in your sock drawer or hang it on a curtain rod behind the curtains.

I found out that they plan on keeping most of their items for $1.25 but are adding more items for a higher price point. I was so happy to find this out. I love the Dollar Store!

I have the textured glasses you pointed out, and love them. They look great and hold up well.
That said, I do have some of the shorter glasses which have a pattern printed on them and I do NOT recommend these. The patterns (even though they look the same when you buy them) are all printed differently I guess, because they are all affected differently by time and washing in the dishwasher.
Some glasses' designs are totally gone now, some are faded, some are fine..? So the result is that my glasses no longer match!

I play a lot of board games and Dollar Tree used to have these rectangular sauce containers that were perfect for storing game components, and you could get 10 for $1.50. 😮 I was at Dollar Tree yesterday and I couldn’t find them. I hope they weren’t discontinued! I ended up having to get some bead storage containers from the craft section, but they were larger (less convenient) and only 4 for $1.50. 😔

The $7 thing is SPECIFIC MEDICATION that they’ll start carrying in the multi price inventory. They’re not saying regular crap will be $7. Glad you can afford $7 and you think $7 is ok but 99% of us can barely afford rent and electricity. Know your audience

i will continue to buy some items at Dollar Tree like liquid shower soap, some decor, garden gloves and other garden items, office supplies, snacks etc.
Well, now I have a list for Dollar Tree. I need some felt pads to put on the bottom of heavy things. I had some, but I have no idea where they went..I’m sure my husband has bought a tarp from there before. And I can always use vinegar. I remember picking my grandkids up from daycare. And the baby room always smelled like vinegar when I walked in there. So that’s all they used to clean in there. But none of the Dollar Trees we go into look as good as the one you shared. But they do carry my favorite licorice. I only like Red Vines. And that’s the only place we can find it. My husband usually buys me like five bags when he finds them. I just like to look around at all the stuff they have. Is it stuff I need, probably not. But the price is right. Beauty blender holder. I need that. My husband and I are the people who go to Dollar Tree and spend a lot of money. When my oldest grandson was small, he always had to have a toy. My husband still buys stuff for the younger grandkids now. I also need baking soda to clean a designer purse my husband bought me from an estate sale. It was really smelly. But with activated charcoal and baking soda the inside is fine. Now I need to clean the outside with some baking soda and water. At least, that’s what I read would do it. I want to carry the purse. But it was so musty smelling I couldn’t handle it. I’m really sensitive to musty smelling things.

$5 at any dollar store is borderline acceptable if the product is good quality. More than that-especially $7-is dollar store-usury and completely unacceptable. I wouldn’t buy it just on general principle. It seems stupid for a store to get greedy when it is already successful with a loyal customer base.
I love the dollar tree. Why I love it is the prices. However, it is beginning to raise their prices a little too much. I love the video.

I love shopping at Dollar Tree, however, I get so frustrated when most of the Dollar Tree"s I've been to are horribly stocked. I moved from Wisconsin to Tennessee about a month ago. I find 2 Dollar Tree's, needless to say, these stores are no better than rhe ones in Wisconsin. Ugh!!! I want to go to your Dollar Tree that looks so much better than any I've seen. May be??? I noticed a lot of the single serve drinks went up last week to luke $1.75 which makes no sense because they changed the bottles to give less. All I saw were signs made out of copy paper.
