WARNING: When I used straight vinegar steam in my microwave, it destroyed the paint in my microwave. The paint started bubbling up and flaking off the microwave surfaces.
So, be sure to dilute the vinegar with water. Actually, start with all water to see if regular steam will work first.
I put a spoon full of baking soda in the water instead of vinegar. Works great
Great info! You might have saved a lot of microwaves! ❤
Plus, hot steam can take care of a lot of things
Use lemon juice instead.
A few more helpful tips.. Use the clear crayon boxes or the travel soap boxes for the card games. Use crushed aspirin or a couple of pennies to your fresh flowers and they'll last longer. Binder clips are great for keeping your ponytail holders together. Also, use baby powder to remove sand from your skin.
@MrsAlmaTrumble Thank You for pointing out my error, Hun. Appreciate it.
A perfect container for your Uno deck!
I love the way you get to the point without too much chatter! I am new to Cricket . Do you have any instructional videos on how to use a cricket for people.who are older and a little bit challenged. Lol? I am finding it a little overwhelming and I don't know where to start. I watched videos by other channels and couldn't get past all the annoying excess chatter.
Thank you for showing appreciation to teachers. That recognition does not go unnoticed! ❤
Store your cleaning sponges and scrubbies in the dishwasher. They get cleaned every time you run the dishwasher and they'll dry out too. I do this so I don't have cleaning stuff laying around on my sink because I have a tiny kitchen. I also keep a scrubbing wand in the dishwasher too (the ikea type).
I love this!
Great ideas. I use the Essentials towel holder inside my kitchen cabinet. I use a Dollar Tree skinny plastic basket (rectangular) and I ran the bar through it. Then I use the basket for small items that I don't want on my sink like small scrub brushes or the sink plug. Little things make your kitchen look so good!
Your Son is so Cute!
Love the Gift Bag Trick and the Scarves Best!
First, you look absolutely amazing in that color! Next, my favorite hack was the fresh flower food followed by the bandana bows. My own hack to volunteer - my mother wore dentures all her life. Rather than pick up toothbrushes to clean with, I always get inexpensive denture brushes. The angle on the brush end is better than a toothbrush and they come with two different length of brushes to scrub with. My adult children all have denture brushes in their cleaning supplies.
😆
Great info. Thanks!
Thank you for showing us dirty stuff. Nothing is more frustrating than watching someone clean something that is clean.
Yes! It's like all those dumb razor commercials that show the razor gliding over already shaved skin.
Yeeessssss!!!!
You can also wrap a small gift directly in the bandana or scarf, depending on the size. That would totally eliminate the need for even brown paper or any paper!
I love the idea to use the condiment bottles for travel toiletries. I also like the cosmetic case to hide money in your car. In my car, I have a large plastic M&M tube to hide money. It holds $20 of quarters perfectly. ❤
This one! Yes!!
Loved this video ! My favorite was that teacher bag , awesome idea ! I have full custody of my 10 year old grandson! And lately I’m feeling blah but this video gave me so much inspiration! Ty for that I needed this 🩷
Great hacks Whitney! I love it when you do these. Another trick is take your heat gun or hair dryer to the head of tooth brush and bend it just a little and it will work even better in window tracks! ❤😊👍💯
Oh my goodness that’s GENIUS!! 😍 thank you!!
Thanks again for another awesome hacks video!! We used to do the sponge “water balloons” when my boys were little, but they would always break eventually because we cut the sponges into strips, so that was a great top to not cut all the way through! I think my favorite hacks this time were the gift ideas. The scarves, the bandannas, the drawing on the white bags, I’ll probably use them all! We’re putting together some teacher gifts this weekend, so perfect timing! I’m going to watch your gift hacks video again now to get some more inspiration before we start❤
For the reward toy bag, I used to do the same for plane trips but I also wrapped the toys and some granola bars and other snacks like gifts = nothing like the joy of unwrapping ❤
I wrapped toys as well for long rides (car or plane). Children could open a gift every few hours.
I love those magnetic hooks to hold potholder to the side of you stove or range hood.
Great idea!
They're actually quite strong, too. I store small frying pans and cooking utensils on the side of my stove
If your freezer has a wire shelf, like mine, just fold the freezie pops over the wire and let them hang in half to get the same portioned effect.
Yes, summer hacks, please!
You got it! ♥️☀️
Crumpled up wads of wax paper do wonders on stainless steel. I use it on my faucets in the bathroom and on the fridge. It also works well for hard water stains on the shower door. DT also sells a sponge specifically for stainless steel that works great too.
As a kid, my parents would take me and my two little brothers to Florida for a week vacay every year. It was an 8 hour drive. Mom would pack cheap little toys and give us something to play with every hour or two. It kept us really entertained! If I’m ever blessed with children I’ll do the same thing! ❤
My mom did the same thing. Such great memories.
My mom did the same thing, & also, about a week before the trip we got to go shopping and each buy one toy ( I ALWAYS bought a toy horse, like the Breyer ones today). BUT---we didn't get to play with it until we were well on our way on the road---boy were we eager to cooperate with packing & getting ready & getting into the car, b/c that special toy was waiting for us. Finally, my dad had a good reply to the "are we there yet?" refrain; he would say, "As soon as it gets dark." Of course, we always found a motel well before dark!
@@traceytashjian9960 those are the best childhood memories 😊
@@vintagelady1 I love that idea!
Loved these hacks, def gonna try the flower one! I clean with toothbrushes all the time too...DG has a 6pk for $1😉❤🙏🏾
Oh my gosh, the paper towel holder is GENIUS! Both for the different areas to put it AND for transfer tape! 🎤 ❤
Yesssss please do a summer hacks video….love them!!!❤
I use the four prong hooks for beach travel to dry suits and towels!🏖️
Great tips! Also for the sponge “water balloons” I saw on another site is to use zip ties that way unlike elastic they won’t snap or break
You are so creative. Thank you for sharing. Finn is fortunate to have such a tentative, imaginative mother.
Love the make up brush application of sunscreen. I hate using my hands and then accidentally rubbing my eyes!
I love, love those drink markers! I probably will not be able to find them now!🙄
I use a toothbrush for our window tracks, too!😊 I use Q-tips, too, for those pestie corners in the window tracks.😊 I love the hack for our flowers! I've always used sugar, but live that we can add distilled vinegar for the musky mold. Great tip, Whitney! Thank you.❤ I bought those hot/cold puff pads for all of my girls for their beach gift baskets. I'm hoping we can have like a spa night & watch movies!❤😊 I bought my girls several masks: foot, face, the hot/cold pads, and nail polish...all the things for spa night!❤️
Finn is so cute! He is growing up so fast!❤ I love your scarf & bandanna hacks for gifts!❤ Genius!❤😊 Such wonderful hacks, Whitney! As always, thank you for sharing all of your hard work, creativity, talent, hacks, and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy, and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊
P.S. Do you think you could make a few wood beach themed gifts? I have a few ideas, but I would love to see what you come up with because you are amazing!❤
Whitney my favorite hack was the sunscreen with the brush. It's always a mess with sunscreen. Finn is getting really tall now and he is so cute in your videos! I love all the Warby Parker frames you tried on TFS
Love the paper towel hack. So simple but awesome
So glad! We always need them handy in the summer!
I so enjoy watching your videos! You are a very special person! You are so creative and talented! Thank you so much for sharing some of your world with all of us! 🫶👍💖
Whitney. Another way to clean dust and dog hair off anything is to use a latex glove. It’s a great hack and gets it all off. Especially for nurses who have clean ones in their pockets. 😊
I made a fruit dessert once and placed my glass cup in the freezer. The cup shattered when I took it out. Very dangerous. So the hack of using a cup to divide your freezee is a good one, just be careful with the type of cup you use.
Agree, must be marked freezer safe!
I love the idea of using a scarf for gift wrapping!
Omgosh that bandana hack is a must have! Thanks for the inspo❤️
These were such great ideas! I loved them all and can't wait to use the sponges for my grand babies next water fight!
So glad! ☀️💕✨
Just found you! This video was really timely for me! Wow! So helpful! Thank you! :)
I loved your gift-wrapping ideas!
The paper towel bar is also very useful in the garage!!
When I was teaching preschool I used those cheap plastic tablecloths for bulletin board backgrounds. I still have some somewhere.
Thanks for the fresh flower hack! I now am going to look at scarves differently. Finn is adorable!! I'd love to see summer idea vidoe(s)
Great hacks! Especially like the plastic tablecloth idea.
Thank you! 😊
Whitney, Great hacks as always. When our hair elastics get stretched and no longer hold our ponytails, I use them as Cable Tiles for various Cords like Cricut Maker 3 Cord, etc. I use old toothbrushes for cleaning gunk out of my Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer, also reuse plastic packaging such as Donuts or cookies come in, to store extra USB charging cords in drawers, I have one for iPhones and one for Androids so easy to find and keep our junk drawers tidy. TFS
Circuit projects and sublimation projects I am just now diving into this and your videos have been so helpful learning how to use Canva now
Wonderful! I’ll have new Cricut techniques coming next week ♥️
Loved the video and your son is so cute! My fav is the sunscreen tip with the make up brush. But how come you don't have him wearing a hat? He can still get a burn on his scalp. I know, I did when I was a kid an my Dad was taking care of us for the week. I ended up with 2nd degree sunburn. I was 6 years old. And he had my four siblings to look after, so he would just leave me on a beach towel again, but cover me with a blanket.
Your kid is adorable ❤
Some great ones, thanks for sharing. God bless❤😊
Thanks for watching!
I like the car hat and the extra sponges throw around type of thing with water that's pretty awesome and the sunscreen with the brush love to have more summer activities hacks
Love the worbee Parker gold frames on you
Great ideas. I'm making a list as you speak!
I loved everything you shared, but my top faves were, the scarf and bandannas as bows or gift basket filler as well as the blank gift bags. I was trying to think of a great gift idea for two daughters’ teachers for the end of the year. Thank you 😊 for sharing ❤
The 5 dollar tote the orange freezer and the hardy books 💜
These ideas were brilliant ‼️
A small flat paint brush also works well on cleaning windows. The bristles fit in all those hard-to-reach crevices. I just pour a big pitcher of hot water to get all the junk out and the water drains out the small holes in the sill.
Genius as always!! Thank you 😊
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!
Thank you Whitney 🙂
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!
I agree about the fur I have a golden retriever. I love her so much
I like the sugar vinegar one
I use that same hack for cleaning my oven. Boil a pot of water, add a bit of vinegar & put it in your oven & just leave it there until it cools down. You will be amazed how easy stuff wipes away. I usually wipe out all the crumbs first.
I have used those magnet hooks for several years! Great for holding kitchen utensils etc.
Great idea! That's genius!
Can't believe Fin is FOUR! I remember when you were pregnant! Love these have videos!
Thank you for all the tips!! 😊
That hot wheels track idea is awesome. My Grandson love his hot wheels and building and this is going to be so fun
It has been a favorite over here, so easy and so entertaining!! ☀️💕✨
I'm definitely trying the bake rack on the pot roller bottom for painting! It'll keep me from constantly stopping in between projects til they dry! Ingenious! Tyfs!,
Wonderful! It’s so helpful when I have to do a ton of things for a video!
Just FYI, you know the wire devices you use so cleverly to hold objects being painted? They are beloved by bakers everywhere, but they are called cooling racks, not baking racks. They let you remove your baked items, like cakes and cookies, from the baking pan after about 5 min. and cool them evenly at room temp. If left in the hot pan too long, the baked items might overcook, absorb moisture from condensation, or become difficult to remove. Hooray for cooling racks.
I’m new to your channel. I love all your ideas. Will definitely use. Thank you for sharing 😊
I use the towel bar on my craft cart to hold rolls of two-sided tape and washi tape.
Those 4 prong hooks are great for scarves! Great for craft sales, etc.
All the hack are great, but Mr Fin is the best ❤
I agree ♥️♥️♥️
You look pretty in that color! TY for all the ideas Whitney!
Thank you so much!
Wow, fabulous ideas!! Love the scarf as ribbon hack!!
Thank you! 😊
Hard to pick just one. I liked all things vinegar, the cash stash pouch, and the decorated white gift bags. 😊❤ I also like the magnet ideas but I don't have metal items to put them on. I could add a metal strip of some kind on a wall to do that. 😉 Thank you! 😊❤
I like using the small plastic case in the car for a cash stash.
I also like all the rolling cart storage options.
Yay thanks for watching!!
Omg! Finn is so adorable! I’m new here and my first time seeing him!
Aw thank you! He makes an appearance every once and awhile ♥️
I am so happy to see you do some old school hacks. I never comment but I just had to. Please keep up the good work. I love watching your videos.
Every hack is awesome 😎💯
Fabulous as always! Thanks Whit. Love the summer hack's btw. Bring em back anytime. Thanks. 😊
Thank you! Will do!
Hi Whitney, I love your hacks. Time and money savings. That color looks good on you. My group of favorite color.
Oh thank you! It’s one of my favorites too!!
Thank you Whitney !!!!
Whitney, you're so awesome!
These will be so much fun for the daycare kids who get so bored in the summertime. Fingers crossed for excited reactions to these hacks.
Great ideas…. Thank you for sharing…
Great ideas!❤😊
Very cool hacks!
I ruined a microwave by using straight 3% white vinegar in it. It peeled off the inside lining.
Im definitely going to be using the sponge water balloon hacks 😀
All your ideas are great
Great ideas, too many good ideas to just choose one! Thxs!
Glad you like them!
Love everything!!!! Your son is adorable!!!! Soooooo cute!!!!
I too have a 4 year old son and alot of these items I already have Woohoo So awesome gathering these up now so excited Thank you so much for these great new finds and ideas to play with him and for my son 😍🥰😁 High five Your so Awesome and You Rock

Aww....Finn is so cute! He got so tall. Great video...but Finn was the star in this one.😊
I lost my fur baby Mother's Day weekend. I miss him so much! 😭😭
The tablecloth clips work fantastic. Had b-day get together couple years ago. Storm came up unexpectedly with high winds and the tableclothes stayed put no problem.
I love these hacks, they are all awesome. Thanks so much for sharing. My favs, the race car track, the sponges , and the design your own gift bag! Just Great!
Great Video, I like the Idea with the Flowers. My Hubby is always buying me Flowers 😊
I love all your ideas in your video especially the water table ideas !!❤😂
Sunscreen with my make up brush. ❤
It's so good! Helps so much! Also great for sunless tanner if you use that!
Thanks for the tablecloth price comparison 😉 You have great ideas and I’m a new subscriber 😊
Whitney your amazing thanking you again for sharing . I've learned a lot from you
Awesome ideas. Thank you❤
