I purchased small cheap stick vacuums for my kids. They were cheaper than the toy ones plus I got some cleaning out of it.

GREAT video. We did many of these things with our kids toys as they were growing up. It kept our toy room so much cleaner. They knew exactly where to put things.
Hanger ring alternative that I've used for years: soda can tab. It fits over the Dollartree hangers and doesn't stick out very far.

That's so great you showed those flex trays in a drawer I saw them and didn't realize that you can stretch them if the section doesn't quite fit now I might pick a couple up thanks for the tip 😀

You might want to put picture labels on the shoeboxes for toys so the kids can know where to put them after playtime
Boxes for cards are great for jewelry, stamps, knitting stuff, lipstick/gloss holder, flashcards, photos😮
I also love washing out and reusing the Justin's peanut butter jars for small toy pieces, crayons, etc. I've put them on the top rack of my dishwasher and they hold up well. Just use some essential or coconut oil on the adhesive dots from the label and they'll scrub right off.
We are getting some Kalax storage for our playroom, thanks so much for the rubber basket hack for magna tiles, it’s genius! Loved all your organizing but that was my favorite. ❤
you can also use the tabs off soda cans to extend your hangers and those are "free". Love all your tips and tricks. I've used so many of them.

I loved your video. Took me back a few years. The comment you made on needing another thing to do on the plants made me chuckle. I had 5 kids and my oldest daughter had one of those electronic pets at the time that you had to feed, walk, ect... She would leave it for me when she went to school. I definitely felt the same thing!

I've bought the shoe boxes for my hall closet where I keep our medical items, I've bought the labels too. Love them but the hack at the end. The command strip on the plastic container! Never thought of that. I will be doing that! Thank you

I had a sock that was missing,so I took my scissors,measured the cuff,cut the top of the sock of to use to wrap charger cords up. Then put it in my craft bag.

i love all of these items! i'm a sucker for cool storage items, esp. at the dollar store. i don't have a dollar tree but i do have various dollaramas nearby (canada) and they've really upped their storage game in recent years. i love your videos, esp. your dollar tree organizing hacks! =)
Yup…Trays are the key …love corralling items on good looking trays…looks purposeful…and somehow keeps other people from adding stuff to the pile😂
Regarding the last idea, I would put the magnet on the lid and flip them around so the clear part of the container would be visible.

Container store has a lot of great items that you can't find elsewhere....but when I went in the other day, they have started selling lots of decorative items and EXTREMELY high end (aka EXPENSIVE) basket. I told the clerk that I can't afford to shop there anymore. He said "neither can I even with my 50% discount!"

Another dollar tree hack put a square plastic bin inside your canvas bins for more stability. They fit perfectly.

Yes I hate this fabric bins anymore.. in my craft room I have been using them on my cubical shelf like yours I have now been slowly buying hard bins like wicker baskets with lids which has been hard to find at reasonable prices and sizes I need 32 omg lol & can’t be longer than 11.5 or 8 wide I also found some white plastic with the bamboo lids at odd lots they are beautiful but you get two for like 12 bucks uugh so it’s gonna take me awhile to gather all my bins the fabric have rip all down the side or the handles come off and all have misshaped and it looks awful thanks for the share I am in desperate need of the photo boxes

When you stacked the kid’s toys in three connecting bins on top of the Ikea cubes, did they ever fall toward the kids? Do you need to secure the bottom one?

Storage solutions for board games. All the board games or such different sizes….any idea on how to store them without everything always falling out of the box?

I got all the storage containers for my son's toys and the little pieces still get all over. Managing them is a hassle. Now I am tossing unused little items and he has a big toy box he can dump it all in and close the lid on.
