Pillows~Did it!! Love them! One hint.. run the needle through your hair (gently and carefully :>) or a rug, the static created makes the needle go through thick material easily. Thank you for the video!

The lantern would be great for a wedding centerpiece! Lanterns are so expensive so I'll be doing this for my wedding coming up!

The Dollar tree in my area didn't have the shadow boxes, I couldn't find them anywhere then they said a shipment was coming in when's the next day nothing was on the shelf, then finally there they were they had two different sizes now what??

The wedding is November 4th of this year, my fiancé is about to be finished up with school in the next month 😁 so unfortunately I had a hard time finding the shadow boxes she used in the video, but I did find another option for a lantern as my centerpieces. There is a video by Jay Munee Diy that helped me create absolutely beautiful lanterns. They are very time consuming, but gorgeous! I am pairing the lanterns up with floral and greenery along with hand painted scriptures for each table. Hopefully this message is able to get to you considering such a late update! ✨
After reading the comments below it seems I'm in 100 % agreement with the rest of the ladies. I'm so impressed with your DIYs and I'm here to say that they are the furthest thing from tacky. Dollar tree now has a cork panel you could use for the backing on the coasters! Just hot glue it to the bottom! Love these ideas!
Not every dollar tree get same items . Your town may have it however the next
town over may not.
I put a couple layers of the cork in a fancy picture frame and covered the cork with an old silk blouse I was tossing out. I bought pretty pushpins and hung all my necklaces and bracelets.

(p.s. long-time pro gardener here...your fox-tail fern is fine. cut back the yellow dead foliage in the winter because the large plant will come back in the spring, and it's much more attractive without all the scruff. and, if you like, put the berries in well-drained ordinary garden soil. they very well might sprout.)

Loved all of your projects, but I think the lantern with candle was my favorite. The lemon tree turned out just darling, and adding the baby's breath added an extra touch. The baby's breath, almost looked like lemon blossoms. I am surrounded by orange, and lemon trees. Be your self, trying to change you vocabulary would show, and you have a great personality.

Newer CZcams channels I’ve seen haven’t figured out the concept that a diy must be cheaper than what I can buy the same thing for in a store. You make them way cheaper and get to add personal touch’s like the old wooden cross hymn.

Yes, This Right. Here. Brightened my day, week and quickened my spirit to be true to myself. True to my creative side and never stop being thankful that the Lord has and WILL make a way. A little Gem was placed here for me today when I saw this video. Reminds me there are so many creative and loving LIKE minds that are out there struggling too. We are not alone, nor will we be discouraged by the darkness of the outlook of society in general. Sparked a creative side in me I’d almost forgotten about.

Hey great video can't wait to try some, my dollar tree has sheets of cork I know you mentioned wanting cork for the coasters, I bought some & put it in a picture frame to make a small cork board for notes & it works great. 😀 Good luck hope yours will have some it was in the crafters corner.

I know, right? Some diy'ers have the music up so loud that I have to mute the sound because music+talking= total disconnect on my part. Drives me crazy.
It’s funny because I kept hearing this quiet plinking sound and it was distracting me as I tried to figure out where it was coming from. Turns out there IS background music - just so low as to be practically subliminal!
Thank you my friends. I use to have the music too loud, but I didn't realize it was too loud because I would only listen to the play back on one device. I didn't realize there was such a huge sound difference on the TV or with headphones.
Other channels with loud music may not realize their music is too loud on certain devices ❤ Much love & Merry Christmas

Foxtail ferns tend to die back in the winter unless you live in a super mild climate or they are located out of the north wind in a warm winter. The hanging one is still alive looking because the post is sheltering it from the cold. Your ferns should wake up come warm weather...don't throw it out.🙂

Love watching all of your DIY's. The difference in the ferns in the planter - probably because the one had more room for the roots to grow
My husband is a fisherman so taking terrcot planters and use the same method or waste paper baskets if plastic fill the bottoms with pebbles these can be used indoors or out on the patio and they loo look really authentic, I also have used old lobster pots as well as planter which turned out great btw ! 😍

The pillows are very nice. I couldn't believe the end result. You are amazing, being able to see a design like that from very plain, inexpensive materials.
You really are so good at this! I finally got my ishh together and made my pillows!! I absolutely love them. I will say I'm a feathered pillow kinda gal but hate paying for them!! Luckily my sister got new furniture and gave me a bunch of feathered throw pillows, from her old set. So I used them in my bathmat pillows. Girl they are seriously luxe! I also get really lucky and find them at goodwill or thrift stores, for under 5 bucks.

My sister-in-law reupholsters her furniture using hot glue - she does an absolutely beautiful job, piping, edging, everything...and you would have absolutely no idea it was created using designer fabrics...and hot glue. The reupholstering has held up for decades...surviving two rambunctious boys!.
I never knew hot glue worked so well before!
I have found Gorilla glue hot glue sticks work best for this ..
Plants are like people: They flourish where they are happy. It's possible the hanging one got a little less sun and lots of fresh air all around. The bottom one had maybe more sun or less sun. Like my mom taught me: if your plant flourishes that means she loves that spot. Don't be moving her. If a plant isn't doing well, move her.

DT does have adhesive backed cork sheets. I love them and pick them up all the time. Love your crafts.
I have seen others use them but I have never seen them! My DT is extremely small and even though it does stock up on some cool items they don't have a crafter square section. But I will an eye out for them ❤ Much love & Merry Christmas

For Christmas I got some frames that were 8×10 , and found some really cute present bags and cut out the front of the bag and put it in the frame with burlap sack and made a really cute decoration !! It was fun making them!

After waiting for over a month for my Dollar Tree to get the bath mats in, I finally was able to get a few. Damn...you weren't kidding about the smell! It transferred to my hands and I had to wash them several times to get the stink out!
