I started a small 500 word a day habit. I will say that it's a lot easier than I thought. I even write more on most days, even when I'm super busy. Now, I'm ready for the success to take off!
Thank you. I’ve been writing for 26 years. I used to write for myself. Now I write for others and if I make money in the process it’s just cake.
I am creative on several levels, it seems, and writing sits at the base of it all. Gotta write. For me, its a journal, as I hear that putting my thoughts makes me clarify those thoughts so they can be expressed. As usual, excellent sound!

Excellent video. My *Why* is because I simply love to write. I have studied writing. Writing is something I naturally do without any external provocation. Writing is built into my identity, and has been for 25 years.
It's time to own the value inherent in that. It's time to gamify it, and put it to good use earning rewards -- both financial and intangible.
One insight I've had starting my work in the academy is that my next move is learning about companies, and gearing my writing toward personal pitches to them. This involves interest -- "inter - esse," tying up my being with theirs -- opening up, listening, learning, being empathetic, and making pitches that exemplify my earnest dedication to bringing value to their organization.
So now my *Why* is tying what I love and value into what others love and value, and building something together that's a win-win.
Excellent advice! I'm starting to sound like a deranged super-fan but I truly appreciate everything you publish. I learn so much from your content. LR has taken my blog from 0 to 60 in one year. With this advice, I'll skyrocket.

I need to get back to writing....been heavy on CZcams too
CZcams is great for a lot of things, but writing is still the thing that has been most crucial for my success.
I’ve been thinking of writing really short stories on CZcams and making 2-8 minute videos. I think that will make an emotional impact and help people in the process.
Thank you for this. I'm in the early stages writing career and has been struggling with writing consistently. I have some subject ideas written down but have only just hand written some of one....... this is very helpful.
Start small, and just make consistency the priority at first. Even if it's just a sentence or two each day. Start with that, and build from there.
