🤔 ABOUT LOCATION REBEL 👇
For the past 10 years at www.locationrebel.com I've taught people just like you how to build a lifestyle business and become a digital nomad. There are a lot of ways we do this depending on your goals, skills and interests, but some of the most common businesses are built around freelance writing, niche sites, affiliate marketing and blogging.
Our primary goal is to help you get to the point where you're making $3-5k a month as quickly as possible, because after that? You have options.
My name is Sean Ogle, and I'm the founder of Location Rebel. I'm a location independent entrepreneur from Portland, Oregon and I travel 3-4 months out of the year and take my business with me wherever I go. On this channel you'll learn exactly how to build a similar business and do it from some pretty sweet destinations as well.

I am new to this and have been spending weeks on gathering information. I am glad I came across yours. Down to earth and simple.
This was extremely informative and timely! I've actually been building my freelance site for the past few months, and now with this time at home, I've had the time to nearly finish it. Seeing this video, now I know what else to add/polish, and fortunately it isn't too much. Thank you! Amazing video as always😁
You're developing your style man and its GOOD, to the point but approachable and friendly. Keep the good work!!
I've been binging your content as part of my New Years "thing" Epic stuff, as always!!
Thanks for sharing a handful tips Sean!
Thank you for your wisdom!!
Short, clean, concise. Very nice and very functional. Perhaps I should trying what I just wrote... Well that and the 17 things you mentioned...
This was extremely helpful and i am so glad i came across your account. I honestly feel lucky to have come across this. Thank you for your knowledge.
Always funny....I mean fun and entertaining. Not to mention great info 👍

Thanks Sean you’re brilliant
Sean is da kine 🤙🏾 🌺
Wow! Badass, Mr. Ogle, badass! Oh, and thank you!
I’ve been a web developer for 22 years. Those 17 things are definitely NOT all needed. It’s just a listicle.
This was great! I've just made my website so have a bit of tweaking to do. I deliberately haven't said I still have a full time job and li e in a remote part of Scotland in case it puts people off. Now I'm thinking maybe I should. What do you think?
You deserve more views. Outrageous the garbage that gets more attention than this. Marketing principles that go beyond freelancing. Way beyond.
Long time no see! And thanks for the kind words, much appreciated :)
Hi Sean - if you already have a niche blog and website, Do you need a second one specifically for freelance writing? Can you use your niche site to demonstrate your writing ability to clients?
Could I make a blog that is free? Do you have any recommendations
What is a fair paid daily or monthly paid commission for a freelancer? From Beginners, Mid Experience and pro freelancers 🤔. And I would like to see the same for blogging
Without words: *****!!!!!
You were rendered unable to speak by this mediocre commercial video? Do you need medical help
The photo part is holding me back because I’m not photogenic and I feel like I need a perfect, professional head shot. Ug. Any suggestions?
I TOTALLY would do your best to not worry about that. You don't need anything professional. In fact, the more real it is, the better in my opinion. I call the perfect style "casual professionalism". You want to present yourself well, use proper grammar, have decent looking visuals, but not be so buttoned up and corporate that you don't get your identity across. So while it can feel uncomfortable to put yourself out there, and share a photo, don't worry about it being "perfect."
@@LocationRebel I totally agree with Sean, don't worry about being perfect. The single most important thing in a photo is your Smile. They say that the eyes are the window to the soul, but for me it's the smile that is the welcome mat. You will notice that in before and after photos for products the subject is almost always smiling in the "after" but not in the "before". We are told by the media that we are superficial and obsessed with appearances, not true. Think about the people you love and trust, how many supermodels are in the list? Grab a couple of your best friends, get dressed up and go crazy take photos of each other 100s of them. Make having fun the goal, next day have a look at the shots pick the ones that make you smile back at them.
Hi Sean. I'm worried about privacy when it comes to putting up a headshot. In lieu of it I have tried to make my about personal by sharing my background. On my contact page I offer a consultation via Skype. Do you think these things are somewhat of a good replacement as opposed to having a picture of myself?
How does someone seeing your photo online - if you’re lucky enough that anyone even visits the site - pose a danger to you? In what possible way?
still no haircut.....?!!??! :D
