I think if you are a unique person and have a unique perspective, then that’s your niche. Generic health and fitness is over saturated (and it was in 2011 in my view), but how to be healthy at age 50 isn’t. Or whatever your unique perspective is. Your niche is your unique perspective.

I think CZcams content creation is PERFECT for introverts. It's a way to have a voice without having to spend a lot of time with a lot of people IRL. It's all asynchronous. Thanks for calling this out. Just subscribed and look forward to learning more from a fellow introvert.

I always find it funny at travel content creator conferences how many introverts (myself included) there are that you wouldn't expect because the only personalities seem extraverted.

Always thought you were a bit of a weirdo, but this content is gold and keeps me coming back. Well done on this episode particularly. Humbling and honest.

I guess a camera is an inanimate object so you can sit looking at it as a latent thing so you can vent at it, bounce in front of it when excited about something, and honestly talk one on one with it as if its a long time buddy...just a mind hack to be more at ease with it. (Just don't be too harsh with the editing I guess - or outsorce it!)

I like to think that I am a writer but my confident is not enough. I haven't read enough books that gave me enough exposure.

I don't know If I want to be a writer per se, but I'm sure I want to create characters and universes and stories, so far I have drawn and sewn a lot, acted a bit and it always feel like it's missing that one thing to turn ideas and images and esthetics into a story, figured writing would be an interesting next step

Just have 2 quick question: 1. Do you want to show you did research about the person in your letter of introduction? 2. Letter of introduction is sent when you send email to someone the first time while cold pitch is when you have talked to that person for a while then send them a pitch when the time is right, is this correct?

Learning copywriting is not only a great way to make money, it can also help you in other situations where you need to be persuasive. You did a nice job laying out specific ways we can all improve at it.

Professional editor here. I've been doing this since 2014 and it's definitely a legit opportunity that I'd recommend to anyone with a solid writing background. But bear in mind: while being a good writer is table stakes for being a good editor, the mindset for writing and the mindset for editing are not the same. You'll need to pivot mentally from one to the other (or between them if you do both), and that's not necessarily intuitive. You also need to sell yourself differently to clients---for a lot of people, an editor sounds like a luxury they can't afford, so helping them understand your value is a much more important challenge to tackle. It can be done and done well, but it's not automatic the way "I'll write your content for you" can be.

I want to make this my niche and let the world know what minority teachers go through in America's public schools. I wanted to know if my writing would be considered protected speech; I would write the truth. PS I have enough material for a lengthy book, but I do not want to start with fiction.
