    🤔 ABOUT LOCATION REBEL 👇
For the past 13 years at www.locationrebel.com I've taught people just like you how to build a lifestyle business and become a digital nomad. There are a lot of ways we do this depending on your goals, skills and interests, but some of the most common businesses are built around freelance writing, niche sites, affiliate marketing and blogging.
Our primary goal is to help you get to the point where you're making $3-5k a month as quickly as possible, because after that? You have options.
My name is Sean Ogle, and I'm the founder of Location Rebel. I'm a location-independent entrepreneur from Portland, Oregon and I travel 3-4 months out of the year and take my business with me wherever I go. On this channel you'll learn exactly how to build a similar business and do it from some pretty sweet destinations as well.

I found this to be one of your best videos. I am traveling, and I found this to be true. When I was moving around too much, I could not get anything done for my freelance writing business. Now that I have a place where I could stay for more than 7 days, I laid out the foundation for my business, built my outreach plan, started having regular client meetings, and I am consistently getting work done. I didn't know why, but it all makes sense now. Thank you.

Looking forward to getting started with writing, so far I've never written a single thing online, so thanks for these videos

I need to get back to doing videos during happy hour. Those were always the most fun :) Also something to be said about the more casual vibe.

Hey Sean! I'm so glad you and your family are having an excellent time in Australia, and I wish you all the best for the rest of your trip. Working away from home is something I haven't done yet with my business. Eventually I want to resume traveling though, so this is all great advice for when that time comes. Lots of new advice here, much appreciated!

Cool video I traveled in Mexico and Guatemala last year. I want to go to Spain and Portugal. I believe you need a month at least to do well. Less than that is too much movement.

What do you think is a good per word rate to live decently as a freelance writer? (I know it depends on location but please don't say that😂😂)

I'd shoot for 10 cents a word give or take to start out. Any less than that can be a struggle to "live decently." Much more is possible, but really depends on your skills and background.

Hi Sean, I've been eyeing up your course, but I'll be honest, the content writing side of things doesn't look too promising for me, what with the rise of AI. I was wondering how much of your course covers copywriting, and digital marketing in general, because to be honest, I don't think content writing is worth a newbie getting into at the moment, or for the foreseeable future.
