I think they buffed so many ADC items to make up for the loss of Lethal Tempo. It's the champs who can use those items and didn't use LT who are going to be bonkers.
they didnt, they changed them back to old items. Attack speed on certain items and AD on other instead of a weird mix on some. How it used to be lil bro.

It's gonna be same story as always, other champs are going to abuse the ADC items and then the items get nerfed again.
And if we enter an adc meta, ADC will get nerfed
I have a theory they murdered essence reaver (fav item rip) because it would have been a broken rush on new corki. New passive works on sheen and also gives him all the stats he wants for cheap (ad, haste, crit, mana).
Atm he needs to go trinity for spellblade (expensive) then go essence, then finally IE. If they kept og essence he could go essence into IE and solo carry on two item 50% crit spike.
Weren't there only a few champs who ever built it? They tend not to like items being that niche.

bro, if you're in river contesting dragon 5v5 and all camps are up that's 48% ap(52% if you include scuttle). The way I think it'll work though is 4% per champ + 4% if a camp is burning(no stacking).
@@Teknospacepotatothis sounds good on paper but then you realize ASol Shockwave can’t hit Large monsters. Even if you hit 5 champs and both Baron and Dragon, which is literally best case scenario since gromp, krugs, raptors etc. can’t be hit, you get 28% extra AP

ASol ult shockwave doesn’t hit Large monsters, at best you’ll get 28% which is still really good
press the attack now buffs damage to all targets for the duration instead of just the one target you proc it on. This is an insane buff to the keystone. Infinity edge giving +15 dmg and +5% crit for 100g.

They basically rolled back adc items to like season 8 or smth like that. All were missing is 6 IE on jhin

As a mid/adc player, i'm soooooooo hype. Esp for the new burn item for brand, malz, zyra and asol. New adc items look fucking awesome, they'll feel worth building
riot tried they're best to send briar 10 feet under but now with these changes, seems like the Kamikaze briar build will become official soon...

A fun build to try with Lucian might be rush Yun Wildarrows into IE into Wits End.
50% crit with the crit bleed passive and Lucian double tap passive sounds like a crazy 2 item spike, then he gets the attack speed, MS, AH, and on hit of Wits next and starts dealing lots of hybrid damage with a bleed on top of it.
none of those items provide ability haste. If you want on hit on lucian surely kraken or bork is the better option than wits which has no AD at all on it

@@jmoak14 sure. But it gives the attack speed and movement speed that Lucian wants. And gives him defensive stats that he needs as a close range marksman. It's better than Kraken which no longer gives crit and takes 3 autos to proc, and Bork which gives no survivability and also takes 3 hits to proc.

Phreak goes on to elaborate on the ADC changes, and there is one really cool design I personally love. They decided they WANT the ADC items to be awkward, and no perfect item to exists as they will always be missing something. This awkwardness forces players to make more interesting and harder decisions, which is probably good for long term build diversity and item health. RIP smolder, sheen ER was holding him at 50% wr now he's probably going full Lichbane and 2 burn items to have a scaling sheen.

I mean as an Jhin otp Im still not sure about the LDR changes since it really helpd me with mundo or siond with the passive yet I guess with only 4 crit items I can get a 5th utility item and get some kinda advantage not sure
also mid video I realized my boy is actually back at top since now my crit % gonna be split in my shots. I remmeber the days %25 crit giving me 2 movement speed buffs in one reload

All zeal items losing ad means no adaptive force if you rush one and start Doran’s shield. Keep that in mind yasuo mains.

I dont see why navori lost if your an ie build. Xayah can go IE, NAvori and will be amazing. Lucian has so many pivots there will be a build for him because his support is what makes him nami,milio, braum. Go to old lucian build Bork, Black cleaver, BT lol.
Not having lethal tempo and cutdown for tanks is really gonna hurt man
Think it’ll be fine, LDR is buffed, tabis are nerfed, and randiuns doesn’t have rock solid passive any more.

honestly I'm happy that lethal tempo is gone, yasuo, yone and trundle players can't just sit on you and auto you down to death. Now they have to play the game as intended
if they gonna bring crit adcs back might aswell bring old bloodline lifesteal when it used to give 12% lifesteal

Phreak is not the only one on the balance team guys cmon, to buff or nerf a champ, item or runes is a huge work, you have test it, change things to work with habilities and interactions with 31293182 champs, if Phreak wants to make a change to buff something "for him" and breaks the game, it will be more work for him and the team because they will have to balance, peopla had jungle meta, mage meta, ardent's meta, the game is so popular and great because it is alwasys changing... if this will be an adc meta eventually it will end. Also the rengar 0/10 would still oneshot the adc anyway
3:46 does this mean you could attack minions after three autos with pta and never “leave combat” or does this only mean enemy champions because this wording as is doesn’t give enough information
Im pretty sure combat has always meant fighting against champions, I don’t know anyone besides you who thinks otherwise.
On the pbe, you need to hit champs 3 times to proc it. Hitting minions after its proced counts as "combat." So you can hit your enemy in lane 3 times and just hit a minions every few seconds, and PTA will stay active. There is a buff on your champ to show if it's still proced. The rune is busted and will be nerfed. There's no reason to take any other rune on adc.

Adcs have been strong in the beginning of the season and then their items get nerfed to oblivion without compensation. The ret of the season everybody just tells adcs to shut up and not complain

Remember, When ADC go up in power, so does Tryndamere. Tryndamere also got his passive buffed to 50% from 40% at full rage. He is back to 2 crit items and can build life steal instead for 3 items. He will be a destructive force.

Ive been playing league for over a decade and tbh the runes and the items have been extremely strong and snowbally for a while now, and this season i think they are a little to out of hand, maybe thats how riot wants it, but i never enjoyed when league was/is very snowbally, not a fan of how consistent it is for 1 person to take over a game; cause someone on the other team gives them a kill early.
maybe these changes will help in that regard as ADC was kinda trash for lower elo players this season, but idk im not a pro, not that fun tho rn to me at least, even when im winning i dont enjoy how i even surprise myself with just one shotting someone with half a combo when youre strong
Lords doms -> IE, is by far the highest dmg build for any crit adc. Lords doms would be basically the same dmg 1st item as collector (if you take price into consideration)

i like a lot of the changes except for the minion dema removed. they just focus on stopping proxying without giving any other way to win the game if you are in bad matchup in top

Maybe this is a dumb take, but to me it feels like the champs that get buffed from this are the ones that care about crit but not attack speed, or attack speed but not crit. Champs that want both attack speed and crit (I'm thinking Jinx, Zeri, maybe Tristana) are the losers.
gotta remember that all crit items are giving 25% now, zeal items are giving a shit ton of AS now, LT is removed so AS caps are a factor, and ADCs have access to T3 bezerkers.
You just go BF, Zeal, boots, finish IE and from there, they will be fine.

If the stats stay the same, lord doms seems like such a strong early game item (comparable to collector as 1st.).
