DL is responsible for whatever his own official clip channel puts out. This isn't just a clip made by a fan. If there is context missing that paints himself in a bad light, then it's still his fault. This channel is part of his brand and he is directly benefiting from views and drama.
Just my opinion, but a public insult deserves a public apology, not a private one on Discord. That public insult results in the other creator getting flame from fans.
Comparing himself to Charlie is also weird when Charlie never compares his own to other tierlists and doesn't insult other creators for different tier lists.
I mean there's literally this video which the same people triggered by all this will probably watch, which includes him admitting his wrongdoing multiple times, and the private apology on top of that. Come on now, what he did wasn't that bad and Caedrel doesn't even care. He is responsible for his clips channel, and that's why he took down the video? @@requiemxd2982 you need to watch halfway through the video before he apologizes to Caedrel. This blew up because of a clip on his channel. He should also ask his editor to clip his apology and post it. Not bury it in a long 40 minute video.
It's not so much for Caedrel as it is for Caedrel fans. Even though Doublelift meant it as a joke, he has many fans who only watch his clips content and will use the deleted clip to bash Caedrel and his fans.

Dom literally disagreed with Monte about the cheating allegations, Dom said Monte was wrong and never should have said what he said. Then the next day Monte and Thorin shit on Dom for disagreeing. Saying that Dom and his friends blindly agree with each other is another example of “Doublelift getting ahead of himself” being his worst enemy. He dragged himself back into criticism 😂😂

Now he's grasping for clicks by name dropping one of the best analysts with the highest viewer count. Everything lately has been for clicks and drama. Just unsubscribe and stop watching unless he goes back to posting game clips with actual analysis.

I think this tribalism stuff in terms of which league co streamer you watch is so stupid. I did think he came off as trying to be an expert and I found it weird DL would critique him so confidently when he hasn't watched nearly anything, but that's where the criticism ends, there's no need to take personal shots or make it a personal issue, it's a video game guys. Why that matters is if you even take it as a joke, if you didn't watch Caedral before, youd still come away from the video thinking Caderal is biased towards a region or has a weird list because you don't have any other context and Doublelift is one of the greatest players of all time so why wouldn't you trust that when he says something is insane that it actually is a bad take/list.
