- Changing out the body mounts on my 2012 Ford F350 Crew Cab. The body mounts on these trucks are known for deteriorating and mine were getting really bad. The truck would creak and carry on when going over bumps etc and they needed to be fixed for a while now. Finally broke down and ordered the kit to get them done. I did not buy the cheapest kit around but I believe it seemed to be the most complete and better quality kit. I did not want to have to worry about these mounts for the rest of the life of the truck hopefully!
Here is the body mount kit I purchased:

Done mine yesterday with a bottle jack and a 4x4 laying in rocks. Took me roughly 5hrs. Key to breaking the bolts is heat for about a min the slow and steady on backing them out. Wasn’t hard at all for me
If you need the size of the nut plate inside the Chasi it’s 7/8 you’re welcome.
thanks, this should help me with my 2012 F350 as well. I have the SB OEM replacement 57 gallon fuel tank and it's been great.
Man you made it look easy! You didn’t have to pull the rear seat or the carpet up? I have a 2015 that I have to do the same thing. The nuts stay in place?
I have the same spun nut. I got a socket on there it still won't loosen up! If I cut the bolt will that nut come out of that hole?
If I remember correctly I believe it will come out the hole just next to where the nut is.
So in the very back above the leaf springs what are they called I have one that is totally gone
Take a look at the video description, I have links for the body mount kits.
what can you break if you jack it up not much?
There are cables and other things connected to the cab so you cannot lift it too high unless you disconnect those things.
did you notice your bed was crooked before you replace them???
The bed was fine, the cab was sagging and rubbing on the non-existent bushings. I do not drive this truck that often.
