    Had a newly heat pressed jacket that had a letter not completely adhered. A corner was peeling. I used an iron and ironing board and a piece of parchment paper. Worked like a charm! Thanks for posting!

    What would we do if the vinyl is cracking a little bit? Not big but just tiny little cracks probably from heat exposure.

    Nice video! I'm currently doing jerseys, May I ask, why am I getting bubbles at my 2nd layer in vinyl when I'm doing finishing in glossy finish teflon? My temp is 165 C ( 330 F) at 10 Seconds

    I bought vinyl iron ons and they werent sticking correctly and ruined the pillowcase. Can I take the letters completely off and adhere to another totally different pillowcase?

    this worked, thank you! the edges of my logo were starting to peel, and i just used excess transferpaper from the sizor htv, and used it in place of the multipurpose paper

    Can you use regular say paper from your printer or do you need multipurpose vinyl paper? I was made a tshirt for a team. Vut as I wore the shirt I noticed edges/large section peeling. I never have done anything with vinyl. I need to re wear this shirt for next event

    i bought a velvet heat press design that was heat pressed on my hoodie i washed and made a mistake and put in the dryer and the cartoon velvet that was heat-pressed on is coming off,no adhesive to stick what can i use?

    Did you wash this project before hand? I have a jersey I bought about a week ago and washed it after a workout with the rest of my clothes the stripes at the shoulders (adidas) are hanging off, would this still work or would I have to add some type of special adhesive?

    Parchment paper works as well which is non-stick paper it might be in your kitchen.

    I have some pvc type material leggings (The Current mood Nancy Zip it corset leggings to be exact) I haven't worn them yet, they were in my wardrobe for about a month and I went to wear them today when I noticed a load of the pvc material all peeling off! Is there any way I can fix this? (They're sold out everywhere otherwise I'd rebuy them) Please pleeeeaase help! I will even pay If anyone can give me a solution to this or if anyone has some more they're selling in my size (a long shot I know) I'm sooo desperate to be able to wear them. Please help!

    I don't believe it......i have 2 North Face hoodies and the logos were peeling off.....I tried this trick but with a an A4 piece of paper instead as I didn't have the paper in this video,but I gave it a go and the logos are back in place! Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Please help!! I have made about 9 simple tshirts with script font phrases which after one wash some words have come off / lifted. I have pressed it for the correct length of time with my red cricut easypress as per instructions of htv, left it 4 days before washing inside out on a normal 30 degree wash. How do I make sure the thinner font stays on forever?

      I know some easy presses don't run hot enough. And it depends on what brand vinyl of vinyl you used

    I bought a shirt from my favorite CZcamsr O.D.D TV and after washing it shrunk which was good because it was to big but now all the letters are fully falling off and it looks like garbage now, but luckily they sent me a new one and now I’m scared to wash it, I’ll just hand wash it and let it air dry

    Is there anything to do if the htv comes off the carrier/transfer paper? Like it falls off the carrier paper when I flip it onto the shirt.

      That is weird- you can just lay it out and then lay the carrier sheet over it to protect it.

    This was very useful for me. I was one to not put much muscle into pressing. Now I have to figure out why my vinyl looks like it's bubbling (melting?) after pressing. 🤔

    You used a temp on the iron between 3 and 4. Is that a low, heat or medium heat, or somewhere in between?

      Right in between. medium! Always test on scrap vinyl and scrap fabric to get your heat settings correct!

      I only use parchment paper. I've done over 1,000 items including polyester/cotton, cotton shirts, drifit, canvas bags, etc.

      I'm so glad everyone said something about this. I saw another video or article that said to use wax paper. Parchment paper makes much better sense.

    so when I press hard, it then leaves the outline of the iron, I try to kind of iron it out after, but just like when ironing a pleat, the bad ones stay forever!! any hints on that?

      Does it stay even after washing? I would press over the whole thing to make it consistent. You can turn inside out and press it again as well.

    Can I do it with wax paper??? Because my $15 Nike headband logo started to peel off it’s almost halfway off and I want to fix it because it was pretty expensive and I don’t wanna go out and buy that paper so

      I wouldn't do it with wax paper- you can use a thin cloth (like tea towel)

    Good tip about looking at your products heat time, don't just Google your brand and go off what it says because Google is wrong most of the time on both time and temp.

    I have a heat press and I find the very skinny delicate areas of vinyl peel a tiny bit after washing. The more solid thicker areas seem to adhere fine. I don’t get it

      I was having the same problem, so I bout some square's, they come in different sizes, they underneath the shirt, and raises just the area of the place your pressing. Haven't had a problem since. Hope that helps

      lupe hinojosa that helps greatly! I think the ones I had this problem with, I was folding hoodies over to fit on the press creating too thick of a garment

      I ran into that problem as well, my press wasn't locking down cause of the thickness. But that's how we learn 👍

      @@soldiers360 Mine actually was locking down as I adjusted it. But I was folding the hood and pouch part under creating a thicker pillow basically instead of wrapping the top layer over the pressing part. Yea all in learning. lol. I THINK that was my issue, but I have not pressed any with tiny details like that on hoodies since to test. The idea of creating a solid platform though is a great idea. Thank you for sharing

      Khen Escote She said early in the video that if it comes off you’re not pressing hard enough. + 15-20 seconds.

      I have done 100 shirts--and then I just made one and it would not stick! Some shirts have a coating from the manufacturer. fabric softener also puts a coating on it. So sometimes if it doesn't stick--its nothing we are doing! Sometimes it might be a cheap brand of heat transfer vinyl. There are lots of things that could be the culprit!

    I have the same iron, and I did it EXACTLY the same way you did; however, the lettering ended up sticking to the paper. I switched to a fabric, per your recommendation, and the same thing happened... Any suggestions?

      I just found out that it seems to work if you let it completely cool before you remove the paper. Took too ruined shirts to figure it out, lol. Good thing they were cheap ones from a carnival.

      Too much heat can ruin the adhesion of the vinyl. Depends on what brand of vinyl you used- some knock off HTV's just don't hold up. ALSO- I had a shirt that just wouldn't hold the HTV. It had a soft finish to it and it kept falling off. I've never had that happen before ! So sometimes-it's just not fixable!

    I ruined a $50 shirt using this method to try to re-stick. It was the Avery transfer paper that I was using. Pretty sure the Avery transfer paper is garbage to begin with. I even let it completely cool and it all ripped up on the paper.
