Learn how to layer vinyl on a shirt using everything from regular everyday iron on to glitter and holographic HTV in the right sequence for success! Many people are intimidated by layering iron-on vinyl and I totally get it. Making a T-shirt with just one layer can be challenging! But when you factor in two, three or even four layers of iron-on vinyl there are a lot more steps and a lot more chances of messing things up. That’s why I wanted to put together a super simple and easy to follow tutorial that breaks down all the steps so instead of feeling confused, you can feel confident and TRULY know how to layer vinyl on a shirt!

I know this video was presented almost two years ago. And God knows I've seen almost every video you've ever done...and belong to every group and class you are part of. But this video...right here...saved the day for me. Of course I've watched it before. Of course I figured I'd know how to layer iron on vinyl. I've been doing the Cricut...vinyl...everything for a few years. But for some reason, I could NOT remember how to do this. My husband bought me the Maker 3 for Christmas. I already have the original Explore and the original Maker. After watching this video...I was able to make a Detroit Lions fan sweatshirt within a few minutes. I needed it for tomorrow's game. You make everything so easy to follow...step by step! I had my svg already to go and hit "make" and you said..."do not forget to mirror...it will remind you...but don't forget"!!! That saved the day. And using my Easy Press in 3 second intervals for each layer was a miraculous save the day step! I had 5 layers so I didn't want to mess it up! Thanks Jennifer. You are such a magnificent teacher! I actually had trotted over ( in the few minutes I had) to our Hobby Lobby to get some silver and some blue smart vinyl and for the first time ever didn't have to use a mat! Thank you...God bless you...and I'm sending virtual hugs your way! I'm so proud of how it turned out!

You are a Crafting Goddess! I just completed my first ever t shirt and it was a layered glitter vinyl. I am so proud of myself and I couldn't have accomplished it without you! It's not layered layered, but I used four different colors and had to fit the 4 pieces around each other with precise center measurements. All of your tips were very much welcomed. I can't sing your praises enough. Thank you thank you!!!

You have taught me so much since I got my Cricut. I watched a lot of your videos before even attempting to use it. The first thing I made was a coffee mug for myself and one for my husband. They were simple one color designs just to give me a little practice, but it was so much easier than I thought it was going to be. And now I'm addicted to my cricut. ❤ Thank you for all the help so far and I'll continue watching your videos for tips and tricks and advice in the future. Thank you so much.

I received a Cricut Maker 3 as a Christmas gift so am a total novice. I am following your videos for my tuition on getting to my machine. I am amazed at what it is capable of doing! With your help, I am learning how to use my machine. The great thing about your videos is I can watch a bit, pause and do that part myself, watch a bit more, pause, and so on, so I don't have to watch and remember everything in one go (my memory is not that good lol). I am loving your videos and am hooked so thank you so very much Jennifer.

I love owls and love your owl SVG, so I stayed up late to make it and ironed it on a brown T-shirt I have. SO cute, even though imperfect. However, I think I got wrinkles in my white HTV, not because of too much heat, but because my white was a different brand of HTV. Anyway, I liked it so much I stayed up even later resizing the owl and making earrings to (somewhat) match. Thank you so very much for this owl design and tutorial.

Im having such a hard time getting the vinyl to stick! I have followed cricuts recommendations as well as a few CZcams videos (yours by far has been the best step-by-step!).

You are literally a LIFE SAVER! I had designed a shirt for a concert in 2 weeks but the manufacturer cancelled my order. I have the svg files to try to make it myself. I was overwhelmed but your tutorial is perfect. Going to try to make it tomorrow

Your previous vinyl videos helped me get over my fear of using vinyl! I would love a video on how to use vinyl with infusible ink. I’d love to combine both in a project!

Thank you I went blank when I was trying to do a infusible ink vinyl on a blanket and shirt. I forgotten the temp and for how long to press. The tee shirt in design space made it confusing for me. I winged it what I did forget to do was adding the butcher paper but it camed out ok. One side of the heart in the corner didn't take but I repressed it in that corner and it worked. I found removing the vinyl on infusible ink is easier than regular vinyl.learning alot from you
