im currently in a journey of learning fpv flying with these simulators. Im just gonna burn an hour or 2 a day without thinking, just flying, smoking, listening to music..ect.. learn it without thinking you have to. just do it, and do it, and do it, and do it. Altho after conquering ym fear on freeroam flying on the games, I decided to do simple races. and wow, im really impressed by my results compared to yesterday, which is when I started to fly.
In the really early phases don't push it too hard. I remember my first or second night trying to do an S curve for like 2 hours in DRL. It was becoming very unproductive. I backed off and went to freestyle mode, paired up with Bardwell's learn to fly series. After a week or so I came back and went through all those tutorials with ease.
That is without a doubt THE ABSOLUTE BEST FPV advice - and by doing more of it, of course you mean ON A FLIGHT SIM. (Unless, one's a millionaire and can AFFORD to get those expensive builds replaced after every severe crash or loss) ... Regardless, I needed to hear this. Thank you sir!
@@xgg_fpv Liftoff might not be great for racing, but it's quite close to flying an FPV, from what I heard (haven't tried it) velocidrone has best physics, especially for racing. Try Uncrashed and you'll see what unrealistic is lol
Thank you for making me more motivated because I wanted a drone DJI but my dad said if i get better at flying he will buy me a dji drone 😊 so thank you very much 😊
A price of advice from a fellow pilot who’s tried a lot of transmitters, please reconsider your dji controller. The gimbals are small and it will make transitioning into something like a T-16s very difficult.
Yes and no. The way you get better at something is to practice what you are not good at. When you do something new, you’re, by default, not good at it. This means that simply doing the thing will make you better at it. When you start actually getting good at a specific thing, you need to practice the things you are not good at within the main thing so you can be better at the main thing. How you practice is what determines your skill level. It’s still a very informative video and I understand that a short won’t have the depth needed to fully understand getting better at something so I just wanted to add to it.
Using the same simulator, but with the Tango 2 Pro controller. Did you get an fpv already? (other than the Avata) if yes which one? I heard a lot of good things about the Iflight Bob57 and the Lumenier Qav Pro Whoop 5"
already clock 23h in liftoff the moment i got my hand on betafpv controller. the sad thing is the throttle on the right side so i had to play it upside down with setting invert 😂😂😂

I guess the point of it remains the same. Whatever it is that you're sticking with reinforces in your habits.
It's ok. It's not written in your genes.
