- One of the questions I get asked most often is, “How do I start flying FPV Drones?” That’s why in today’s video, I’m going to share with you the best ways you can take flight with FPV, in the way that’s best for you to go from zero, to flying like a bird in the air.

Bro you can't just make a concise and well written video like this I have too many hobbies I can't take on another one 😭😭😭
Ikr
FR
ADHD moment
Oh but fpv I do worth the endeavor🙂
😢 hi5
Nice job kid! I'm a 71 year old ripper! Exactly how I learned! Will recommend!
It's an honor!!
Mate , bloody awesome to hear at that age your still smashing it
I am 38 im only new to this but its good to hear this is a hobby that can keep us all going into our older years :)
Shred it brother cheers from australia
@@SpaghettiFPV-tg3qh My back is bad, my hips don't work. But, as soon as I put my goggles on - look out, the old man is going to rip some s#&t! I do some long rang too. FPV is freedom for me. Remember, it's all about the gap!
@@ghettogardens1 bloody awesome mate
U put any up ? Ill checkout ya channel
@@KaiVertigoh I'm think I might get the radiomaster zorro but I still don't know if I should get the elrs or the 4in1 version. Can you tell me what you would get(by the way this will be my first radio)
Thank you for this amazing video! Just barely getting my feet wet in the FPV world and it seems like theres an overwhelming amount of information out there. Not only does this information give a non-intimidating and straightforward approach, it also cuts straight to the point and doesn't overload me. Thank you 👊🏽
Great video. Best thing I ever did when I first started was bought a second hand 5” didn’t fly it properly for the first year, only did sim. Then gradually would practice. I also think building your own will help in the long run as if somthing is too fail you should be able too work it out as you’ve built it yourself.
Love the video man
Availability is another big factor. It’s now early January when I ordered my dji goggles 2 radio transmitter back in November with the hopes I’d be able to discover FPV over the Christmas break
Thank you so much! That was the most detailed video I've seen for beginners. I'm starting to study FPV drones, focusing on learning how to build one on my own. I thought it would be cheaper, but I understand the materials like motors and the main board have good quality, and the goggles and remote controller last for years.
I loved your comment about learning how to fix the drone. I think that is the key to spending less money on it because the drone will break a lot of times (it's inevitable) and you will save a lot of money fixing it on your own.
Most definitely Matheus! I am happy that the video was helpful. There are definitely more cost-efficient ways to start, but you really do get what you pay for when it comes to FPV.
And you're right, learning to fix your drones when they crash WILL save you a good amount of money in the long run, if you are up to the challenge!
@@KaiVertigoh hey I’m trying to find out what the 4 Stubby antenna you’re using on the DJI goggles?
I am so glad I found your video! I’ve been wanting to get into this for so long, I still fly a phantom 3 but want to get into fpv and didn’t know where to start so thank you I’ll start here!
Dude this is well produced and clear content, Congrats!
For a newbie like myself, I found your video to be a great starting tool. I took notes, step by step and even typed out your Diligent Practice & Patient Progress, printed it and put it up in my shop. Thanks again for your wisdom.
Thank you for watching! Glad you found it helpful :)
As a total Newb I really appreciate this video! It stopped me from thinking I have to go ALL OUT and buy the whole enchilada - so NOW I know I can start with a controller and sim to start - PERFECT!!! I also know when it becomes time to move I will be building my drone (thankx again!) so I know how to fix it (I am kind of hard on thing, so yeah), will want digital goggles and will get a Cinewwhoops to start! This answered SO MANY Qs I had about how to start that I will actually be able to take the first step today!!! You are awesome!
Thank You Kai! thats a lot of info in a short video it kept my full attention through the whole vid. I'm gonna have to rewatch and take some notes. I've been flying mid level camera drones for about a year and have just started looking into FPVs. Newly retired and love to tinker, build and solder, cant wait to get started!
You're most welcome Roy! Congratulations on retiring, the world of FPV will keep you plenty busy and excited! Hope to see you around more, best of luck
You have had the best info on fpv i've ever seen, and i've seen alot...from nurk, rotor riot, ken h and many more. Keep up the good work and i subscribed and liked!
Wow wow, i didnt knkw anything about FPV till i saw one of yoir shorts like 5 mins ago and now im here. Such a straight-to-the-point video. Amazing.
Have you been living under a rock for the last 15 years? 🙄
Same here bro. Stfu @somerandomname9252 there’s probably shit you haven’t been exposed to in our worlds
First of your videos I've watched, and just getting into FPV. Great content, well laid out, super appreciate it. Subscribed!

Sold! Best intro to FPV drones out there.
One of the best guide I’ve seen that provides clear insights on how to get started. Thanks man!
hell yeah! i got into fpv so quick,i know i'm never looking back....now i know i'm def geting that solder.
Great advice. Best video I’ve seen so far!
This is a great video! Straight forward and informative, especially for those of us that are just getting started. Thank you!
Very helpful video, thanks for the tips!
I remember running an FPV setup in the 90's for RC racing. Wireless SD camera with a CMOS sensor (not even a CCD). Maybe 200m range max and with occasional static. Goggles were 640x480, and to record footage, I had to hook up a camcorder. Now everything comes in a single package. No need to invent contraptions, and it's all relatively cheap. Plenty of replacement parts. They made it easy for people to get into drone operation. I've had a number of them over the years. I had a chance to learn them though practice, but if I was just starting from scratch, I would've gone with a simulator for sure. Back when I started piloting, they didn't exist.
Nice video dude ty!
Being the most inexperienced person on this subject, you gave me a way to begin my journey. Kudos to you. Thank you for such an amazing video.
Thank you for watching and leaving such a kind comment! It's my pleasure.
this is the video that actually made it quick and easy to understand, buying your remote and sim to start.
This is so helpful thank you!
I watched like 10 Vids, this is the first one where I can finally understand FPV a LOT better!!!
You inspired people like me to start learning FPV. Thanks man.

100% agree with you bro, build your first fpv is the best option, I just finished my first fpv drone build with a digital set up and it was a very fun process
Great video my guy
Thanks for your advice I appreciate so much
Thanks for making this video kai!
Dude I’m here for that drone to bird transition ❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥
Subbed just for that 🤯👌
When an introductory video has no "Buy either this product, this or that one" and instead offers insides and understanding of different parameters, than I know it's good introductory video :D thanks
Thanks, great video
Very well done and informative. Thank you!
Thank you so much this was more helpful than I think you realize ❤️keep it up!
Thank you Ethan! Appreciate you for watching and I hope it helps, friend
Like it. Hopefully can start soon.

Great video. This was very helpful learning about the FPV process to get going.

Great Video ! ! ! - Thank you ! ! !
Thanks dude! Nice video. I’m trying to learn currently
Such a well made video. This is the start of my drone hobby
It's an honor. Best of luck friend!
You’re a very likable person. Thanks for the info! Learned a ton.
Thanks bro, really helpful. I subscribed!
One thing I found when starting fpv was how vital it is learning how to land as it’s something that is obviously lacking from the simulator process.
I’m quite confident with flying now, but learning how to land back on a landing pad is proving difficult.
I’m just disarming my quad when it’s in my general location and then walking a couple meters or whatever to collect it.
And learning about lipos and voltage etc is really important as well.
I learned acro via the Avata and Dji Fpv, and recently upgraded to a Bob57 03 with crossfire, and am considering getting either the cinelog 35 v2, or cinebot 30.
so good and simple advices! outstanding vloger!
yoooo dope video Kai! love the content you're creating... I don't fly drones and i can still just enjoy the content.
Ayy thank you Felix!! I appreciate you watching even more because of that. Miss you man

Thank you so much Angel! Appreciate you, thanks for watching
Maaaan.. I want to get into this so bad. Thanks for putting together a good starting point.
Just wow. I'm getting more and more interested in FPV drones and going to try them myself (i'm a big fan of fast paced race games). If only they could put some sort of guns on these things (harmless for everyone and everything but other drones)... ))
Thanks a lot, Kai, your video is amazing, clear and the best on the topic i've seen so far )
Thank you so much for saying that, I’m glad you found it helpful!! Best of luck
thinking of getting into drone for my amateur videography then I came across your video, its an eyes opener for me. I think FPV is way more interesting than just regular drone. Hopefully I can learn something from you and start building my first drone . thank you and Subscribed.
I am happy I was able to help!! Best of luck on your journey, hope to see see you around more.
Thanks dude, this is awesome.
I wanted to start with DJI drones but after watching your video I have realized I would love to build it myself as well be able to repair myself as I love building things. Thanks for an awesome video!❤
Just what i was looking for in 2023 thanks!
Hello Kai!
this is the first video of your that I watched.
But for sure It was a great video and it was very realistic and rational by the way.

Thanks so much! I think alot of beginners have trouble having the right mindset and sight to see the overview of getting into the world of FPV. Your video was really warm, gentle and welcoming for the lot of us who are absolute beginners. Great job!
Nicholas! Thank you for such kind words, I'm really happy you were able to gain this from the video. Hope to see you around more, best of luck!
