    I appreciate McFarlane for his points in keeping figures and collectibles as fairly priced as possible, I’m just so curious as to what all this is going to turn out being. Are they gonna be like the Pacific Rim packs? Giant? Standard 6inch?
    Been wondering what Todd would do with Godzilla for years now.

      Todd love his Batman sooo much, so at the very least I'm sure it'll be a good one. It'll probably be the size of Fulcum Abominus or the Justice Buster. Tho I do hope it'll be standard tho. Would love this line to be somewhat close to Hiya's. Knowing Todd, he may also do some wild paint variants later that suits your fancy, my dude.

    I said I wasn't going to buy an MV Kong (because I love me the 1933 version) and I've never read the comic, but dangit if I ain't gonna' buy Kong vs. Mechanibatman. I actually have a couple McFarlane DC figures as part of my overall 1930s-ish collection (Universal Monsters, Flash Gordon, Golden Age comic figures, etc.) and I'm pretty fond of them. We'll see how this turns out. I'm 3/4's hype for it.

    It’s possible it might be a page punchers release. Those are mini 2 inch tall figures with a comic but idk

    Yesss can’t wait for these McFarlane to do the pack and hopefully more Monsterverse DC packs. I had some of there dragons from GOT, Harry Potter. Looking forward on what they are going to do.

    I would love to have this batman meh next to a godzilla. I think the green lanterns made a mech/kaiju with their will power too so they can add that if they arent doing all kaiju, also aquamans kraken

    Yaknow I honestly wouldn’t mind a couple of statues tbh buuuuuut we’ll have to wait and see what they look like.

  • @repodreptiles
    @repodreptiles Před 14 dny

    hmmm, it really depends on what they decide to do with it, if its statues, cool, but if its articulated figures, I'd definitely keep an eye on them!

    I own mc farlane toys, can’t wait to see how they look

    İf they actually make kaiju figures it would be good ı assume its not a bad company somewhat above decent plus price range will be chaper compared to most of the rival companies would help someone wanting to pick something cheap but also good looking something between playmates and hiya the missing link!

  • @dk6419
    @dk6419 Před 15 dny

    Mcfarlane was good for a while, then they went to statue style figures and then back to action figures. While they are pretty good, the articulation isn't the greatest, and they can tend to be overpriced for what you get.

    I cannot understand how McFarlane still exists, i really hate their products. I guess his aliens have disgusted me for my whole life, the dog alien was just that bad
    I hope these are at least somewhat good

    • @jonathanche6553
      @jonathanche6553 Před 14 dny

      Wait, as in you hate them because the figures gross you out or because of their general quality?

    • @panduallen6712
      @panduallen6712 Před 14 dny

      I don't own the aliens line so I can't confirm nor deny your verdict. But for the multiverse line, I've bought one and I love it. No joints stuck, no qc issue, clean paint apps and eyes. Zero paints are out of the lines, which kinda surprises me given how affordable the figure were. This could be the perfect timing to give McFarlane another shot. They make bangers imo

    • @lautaroasis60
      @lautaroasis60 Před 14 dny

      @@jonathanche6553 its kinda the quality of their sculpts. Back in the 2000's, they made figures for the alien movies. Some looked so horrible, I wrote them off until this day, and their "good" stuff hasnt really convinced me since either, it just seems to be a really mediocre company.
      If you need the specific example of how bad they can get, look at their dog alien figure, it looks like (ironically) dog shit, from the horrible sculpt, to the color of the head

    • @UgoPoe
      @UgoPoe Před 14 dny

      I own nearly every single DoomSlayer figure, they are all very good quality. The Terminator from T2 has re-released with better head sculpt + articulation which the first version of the t2 was more statue like, only the head and arms really having any posibility. Overall the McFarlane line is really good in my books, they have a great selection of pop culture characters that are good in quality for the price. They are like 20-30 new.

    • @UgoPoe
      @UgoPoe Před 14 dny

      Though I'm sure the alien figures are hit and miss, I can see where the sculpt could be fragile and or not up-to-par.

  • @panduallen6712
    @panduallen6712 Před 14 dny +1

    Oh Kyle, you know I've been wetdreaming about this one. Yeeeeeeesssss, finally. I do think this would most likely be an articulated action figure, as I know Todd do like dem figures articulated tho still keeps the clean sculpt (similar to Hiya Toys). Iirc, in the states it was Todd who first make articulated action figures, albeit at the time it was limited, like 5 poa or sort. He does still make statues nowadays, like some Spawn and Batman statues, and I think his sports figure lines are all statues. But for supes, I think he'll start off with articulated action figure, but ofc would be rather limited in range of movement. After all it is Batman, and if you're even remotely familiar with DC Multiverse line, you'll see a certain caped crusader got a "little" too much variants. Todd do be loving his Batman. That Batman vs Spawn two pack gotta be one of his proudest figure release. I guess your expectation for the Bat-Jaeger could be based off Fulcum Abominus, with the articulation, paint, material. It possibly only came with one type of hands. Tho, Todd sometimes makes them two kinds of hands (one open, one fist). I do hope Todd would do the Lantern Robo and Lazarus Pit Skullcrawler from this comic. Maybe also adding the Kraken for DC's own kaiju. There's also the Batwing robo, but it kinda look half-baked. I could kinda see them stopping at only making Mv figures within the scope of this comic. Perhaps that's how they dodge the 7" Hiya license, I dunno. Either way I am excited. Their PR lines has yet to sell here, but since this is Batman, I'm sure local distributor would be quicker to pick this one up. You know I'll buy them ASAP, man. Thanks for the news

    I wonder if it'll actually be BATMAN or if it'll be the Batmech that pops up in comics.

    I don't know. I think it will be a page punchers product. I don't like McFarlane's action figures, I've been avoiding his 7 inch figures despite being a big Justice League and Mortal Kombat fan.
