Today I pay homage to the L&L burger and make some homemade Dry-Aged smoked wagyu burgers, and because I like to keep everything simple we’re also going to make some homemade American cheese, homemade pickles, and homemade buns! By far the best cheeseburger I’ve ever made!

But when are you coming out with the holiday bootsnake album?!
Look up chuds bbq on SoundCloud
You're really going for the collabs. I'd love to see a chuds / JW crossover event.
I love how you go ALL OUT and do everything from scratch! your efforts are well appreciated and makes for awesome videos. best BBQ channel on youtube. also I love how you drop the insider tips and tricks from your years as a local pitmaster here in town. even the smoked veggies at leroy and lewis are better than alot of other ppls meat lol. 🎄🎄🎄
Well said dude.
Couldn’t agree with you more! The veggies at L&L are at another level
I bet he is raising his own cow just to smoke a brisket from "scratch" 😂
This was my favorite Chuds BBQ video of the year. Appreciate all the effort that went in to this.
Cheers, Jim
Mine also :-)
Dude the Joshua Weissman shoutout made me smile ear to ear
A lot of hardcore at-home dry-agers actually use the pellicle trimmings in burgers - it's pretty intense with the dry-age flavor and is a good way to get the "loss" back. Others use it to make beef stock or demi-glace.
looks absolutely INCREDIBLE ... each element of the cook nailed! you simply never miss 💪💪
My dinner Xmas night. Was doing smash burgers now these. Thanks for the Kick Ass inspiration!
That cross section at the end looked more like a steak than a burger! I bet that was delicious!
Going the extra mile and making it all by scratch makes you better to watch then the rest, keep it up
This is the first time iv seen this Chuds BBQ guy and show. Think i just found my new best friend! Looking forward to watching more. Finally someone who cooks like me!
We need a triple collaboration with yourself, Josh, and George Motz please
I appreciate you mentioning the processes that happen in the meat when you make a patty with fresh ground beef. I've always been plagued with them falling apart on the grill/griddle until I saw your first chudburger video. Now I press my patties a day in advance and they never fall to pieces.
finally someone explained why my burgers keep falling apart. I quit making patties out of my grind and just used it for smash burgers and Krystal burgers on my blackstone. will prep some like this from now on and pop in vacseal and freeze
Frickin legit. One of the best bbq videos I’ve ever watched. So many great techniques and recipes, all for a burger. Fantastic
Again, you are the most talented CHEF in the CZcams BBQ universe. Enjoy the holidays.
These last few videos have been amazing! Great job Chud 🤘🏿
Another awesome video, Bradley. Thank you! I especially like that you showed the process to make all of the components from scratch, and I will be trying some of those! Perhaps especially the cheese....
Best looking manbuns that I've seen in a while..
Looks amazing! The recipes you come up with our some of the best I’ve ever seen. Can’t wait to try it!
This was an incredible episode! All that effort did not go unnoticed. If only I had half of your talent Mr. Chud!
This guy is just the best! I would like to visit America just to try all these amazing cooks made by this amazing guy! Much love brother ❤️
Burgers are my favorite food and you have set the bar incredibly high. I made your previous burger, but this one really steps it up a notch. BTW, homemade American cheese is so easy. Never would have tried it without watching your video. Keep ‘em coming. Come on 100k subs!!! Merry Christmas!
I was already planning on doing this for Christmas Eve. I have a brisket/short rib/chuck blend that I am doing, but pretty much planning the same buns and your cheese recipe. Thanks for posting just in time.
Excellent episode! If I was forced to pick your best episode ( if that were possible), this one would be in the running! Non-foodies would say it was too much work but you and your subscribers know it's not work at all, and it comes down to that love at first bite, that is over the top in every way! You're a smoking/grilling/cooking/welding genius! Happy Holidays!
Dude, tried something new for my burgers. 1/2 lb burger logs from fresh ground (at home) chuck about 7"-8" long for a burger wrap with whatever. Super SUPER juicy. I will NEVER (almost never) buy ground beef again, thanks to this video. The wife likes to use taco seasoning with tater tots, sour cream, tomatoes for a totcho wrap, YUM YUM
Incredible video. Showing off all of the skills with all of the extras. Just a perfect looking creation.
Have you done a video on your dry aging method .If not that would be great. Your explanations on things is very easy to understand and detailed!
wow, lots of interesting tips. home dry aging, home pickles, home Amurican Cheese, smoke, modified sauce, home buns (look great!) and black truffle (?) kinda pushing the envelope there, Bud. Lots of things to try. THANKS for the ideas.
I just want to say thank you for all your motivation and vids I built an off set smoker and smoked my first sausages today still need some some practice but it was awesome
Love it! I respect your knack to detail and craft!
New follower here and I have to say these burgers look awesome! I do appreciate all the hard work that goes into making these burgers and videos. That “frosty the snowman” song though had me rolling bud!
Would love to see your Fridge/Freezer setup. I hear a lot of “this has been in the fridge for months”… dedicated BBQ setup?
I have to agree... would love to see the Chuds fridge and all the secret goodies in there.
I made some of the American cheese last night. I used 500g Tillamook Cheddar and 200g of my handsmoked creamy Gouda. I used a 2.5lb stainless steel cylinder I use to make bologna in that I Sous Vide. Mmmm Mmmm it turned out amazing! Thanks for this recipe, you are AWESOME!
This video is money! Excellent craftsmanship as always, props to the chef!
Dude that burger looks absolutely fantastic!! Pulled out all the stops on that one! Great job man. Respect
Loving the everything from scratch, especially the cheese! Another fantastic video! Best Q on CZcams.
watching the melty cheese in the 'saucepot' wondering how they hell you are gonna make it into singles. great video Brad!
This looks amazing! Definitely would love to see more burgers. Just got my kamado big joe 3, so ready to try all these recipes out finally haha.
Holy crap! I've never even tasted a burger like that and I'm sure it would be the absolute best in the world.
I love all this sooo much!! Thank you!!!
If im ever feeling spunky.. I might go all out and make everything from scratch. But that looks amazing!
Would like to see your version of the famous juicy Lucy burger.
Rock on Bradly great channel with some great content and laughs.
Is that a snake in your boot 🥾
Absolutely brilliant!
Those look phenomenal! And now inspired to make some of those homemade items too! Great video.
Two words : Over The Top!
I'm with you on going the extra mile...so worth it. I love smoked cheese burgers and do them quite often. Not as over the top as this video, but more so than the average back yard bbq'r.
Smoked patty and even the buns are made. Wow!
I was literally trimming up a brisket for my dads Christmas pastrami… whilst watching this, and I may have just accidentally on purpose cut of a chunk of brisket for the grinder… making this tomorrow, and love the cheese recipe!
This was epic! This is something I have to create at least once at home. First step is to invest in a meat grinder. Love the videos Brad! You're a huge inspiration!
I made my first American cheese this morning for some smoked queso for friend’s new baby, using the burger trim vid recipe! And now I get to watch this! Huzzah!
This is one of the best videos you've made (my opinion only) I learned a coupe of things from it. Keep up the good work.
This is a legend of a burger because the guy not only knows what he’s doing, he does it all from scratch and most importantly he enjoys what he’s doing
OK but that black truffle on top was just beautiful.
The amount of comedy in this video is ridiculous andI'm here for all of it! 😅
As always Bradley, you blew this one away. Subscribe if you aren’t subscribed yet. This is the best BBQ channel.
Keep chopping the wood in front of you Bradley, you’re going to be mega successful.
That looks so damn tasty, thanks Chud for sharing this.
Merry Christmas!
assembling the burgers my mouth literally watered.... like drool on the keyboard
Simply amazing
Hey Brad, just giving you a big thanks for continuing to point out exactly which kosher salt you use! This is such an important point that so many people overlook!
Yes, I want you and Weismann in a video!
Man, you got all "Joshua Weissman" on us making everything from scratch 😂
But way better
Looks great. Can’t wait to try it out.
Sounds amazing. I use 100% brisket for my burgers and can't get enough but never tried smoking them
That my man... is a work of art burger! PS. I made some homemade American cheese per your other video... Real game changer on everything! LOVE the stuff your putting out!
Bougy truffle went OT, over the top. Well done
Great job it looks fantastic!
I'm digging the new site. It's looking clean!
I smoke briskets, butts, ribs, chicken halves, turkey and turkey breast and I gotta say that burger has been the best one I've ever seen on YT. I avoid eating red meat like I do C19 but I wouldn't mind a gout flare up for a bite of that burger 🍔 😋
I just made a second batch of the American cheese recipe from the last episode. By far the best American cheese I have ever had.
Dude solid video!!!! Love it
Feed the MAN!!! epic video!! I thought the Chudburgers were awesome when I make them. I can't wait to try this out!!
Awesome video and an even better looking burger!
I dare ya to take just a plain 80/20 patty with just a little salt both sides an place them in a 1500 degree overhead infrared steak searer. There is something magical that happens at those temps. It’s so simple but so delishious.
That's a beauty! I don't eat bread anymore, but I would absolutely demolish everything else.
Amazing burger, as are your knife skills!
Dude, these are insane. You're a madman in the best way possible. You and Sonny outta film some stuff together now that he's in Austin. You'll be right where he is, sub-wise, in no time brother.
OMG yes please!!
Great video, learning a lot here in the UK….. always love the boot snake 🤣
Oh my! Looks amazing amazing!!!
Love the videos!
If michelangelo did bbq.. this would be his sistine chapel. Bravo.
You are definitely the real deal brother! Great work
A true master piece.
damn.... i get excited when i see a new chud video.. im gonna have to try this..
Best burger in the world. I have spoken.
Those bad Larrys look amazing
You nailed it again
this is amazing
dude the dry aged pellicle is the best part when its ground into the mix.
You're the best, Chudly!
The ultimate showdown would have to be The L&L burger vs a really good smash burger. They both have their pros and cons. I'd love to see a similar amount of extra-ness applied to a smash burger on this channel.
Never been a fan of smoked burgers. But they look amazing
Could you do a video, or explanation alongside a video, about how to do overnight cooks? When something takes 12+ hours to cook, and some of it has to be overnight, how do you do it safely? Can I go to sleep and come back to it in the morning? If so, do I have to do something do get that result? Thanks for the videos either way, I absolutely LOVE the brisket videos and the barbacoa one has me coming back like once a week.
That’s a helluva burger there......chef approved!
Wow amazing bro!
holy hell i bet that was good. we are making doing this after our next brisket.
Chud that was the ultimate burger. 👌
You covered it all! love a great burger but this video, I mean damn brother! Deliceeious!
I know this is an old vid but if you see this… try making some crepes on the tortilla press. Ive been wanting to build one, and was curious if you could use it for crepes too.
Mr. Chud, please invest in a mandolin finger guard! Great video!
