IT'S A FUCKING GREAT ALBUM A LOT OF PEOPLE SLAM THIS ALBUM I DON'T KNOW WHY IT ROCKS
When times are bad--Sabbath always gets you through. There will never be another band like them.
This brings back so many memories of my teenage years. I'll never tire of listening to Sabbath and Ozzy.
I still think it was a great album!!
agreed !
Man I love everything Black Sabbath has ever done. ALL of their music is awesome bro!
better than technical ecstasy and sabotage
My favorite album of theirs....album cover is so cool...
But if you don't tell us what album its from ...we have no idea what album its from. What album is it from?
This encapsulates human melancholy perfectly
Always loved this album.
Never got the criticism. No band today could match it
This song pisses on most of what passes for rock these days. Sabbath still rule! \m/
+Nigel Fortune yes! /m\
Forever the shall rule today's stuff is shit I've been Sabbath fan for 40 years now just wish Bill was back in band and that I could see them one last time before either I die or OZZY does
+Nigel Fortune yeah man music these days is shit
Only popular music i tend to find there are alot of good bands lurking in the shadows O.O
xero spacious I really hope so. Can't stand most of the bands that get covered by the media.
No matter what the band was going through, Never Say Die does have outstanding tracks, particularly on the first side. Certainly this is one, terrific and meaningful song.
What An Incredible Mix Of True Lyrics , Powerful Vocals , Tight Riffs , Deep Bass And Solid Beats......Black Sabbath = Rock N Roll........
"
Forget all your sorrow, don't live in the past
And look to the future, `cause life goes too fast, you know"
Ozzy says he hated the never say die album. I think it's a great album
This album is actually my favourite. It's deep , soulful yet still has their trademark crunchy riffs.
maybe he just hates his memories of making it (booze, tensions, and so on)
As for me Their Never Say Die Album was one of Their Greatest!!!!!!
Well that is Ozzy’s opinion. He is allowed to have his opinion. How about you stick to yours and not shame him for having an opinion.
@@danijelujcic8644yeah maybe so and I think he sounds very good here , but you’re right. It was very traumatic for him.
One of my favorite songs....so long ago.....
Dallas tx. 1978 I was there van Halen open up everybody at school said they were bad but Black Sabbath rules thank you for the great fucking song
such an incredible track.
SAS Rogue Heroes brought me here, lifelong Sabbath fan just needed to hear it again and again
Just a touch of psychedelic in THIS One.
I LOVE It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good song
Ohhhhh Its a Hard Rooaad!
A Sabbath Masterpiece!
Tony's guitar style is one of a kind. He developed a style to accommodate his situation, very smart in my opinion and it showed. His name will live on forever! 👊Hail, Hail, to Sabbath
Man you are right! Tony has a sound all of his own, and it was a major contribution to making Black Sabbath so great. Sure, Randy had an amazing ability to play technically, but his sound wasn't as raw and cool as Tony's. Tony just fit that style of music like a glove. No one else could replace him. I love this band. I still love them. They were always awesome, and they are one of the few bands I can honestly say that I love every song they ever made. I don't think Black Sabbath has ever made a bad song. What a legendary band!
Still the 🎸 riff on this number sounds like something clasical IDK sure makes ya wanna hop too the music … sounds like a salute to marchers off to war and the ship sailing to the front & the baton twirlers … the lyrics are heavy too the riff is a great twist …

Sacrifice of blood and flesh to become the god of rock and roll!!!
Que solos e riffs maravilhosos e esses vocais então.....🤘🏽
Just a great great song - uplifting yet nostalgic. I remember when Ozzy hit a really low ebb in the early nineties, (I won't mention the details) and the DJ Tommy Vance ( I think!) On the Friday rock show wished him heart felt recovery and played this tune - such a good choice for that moment.
Whoever chose that thumbnail knew exactly what they were doing lol
I was stationed in England with the U.S. Air Force from 77 to 79 and while waiting for a bus in the bus shelter I looked at some of the writing on the walls and someone wrote "Black Sabbath Rules OK". How cool was that, love England, love Black Sabbath!!
my god i love Black Sabbath so much. I literally started crying when I saw "The End Tour" in my sub box. Please keep releasing more content. I love you guys. Sabbath for life! /m\
Bro utube are you a good person by living waters
I cried
One of the many or the few , depending on how you look at it . Saved the world through music , people , understanding something else to believe in . Other than politics , or their religion , music is the greatest communication for all to appreciate , and understand what is , in your own path that you walk in life . . .
LYRICS:
Old men crying, young men dying
World still turns as Father Time looks on
On and on
Children playing, dreamers praying
Laughter turns to tear as love has gone
Has it gone?
Oh, it's a hard road
Oh, it's a hard road
Whirlwind churning, lovers learning
On this path of life we can't back down
Is it wrong?
Widows weeping, babies sleeping
Life becomes the singer and the song
Sing along
Oh, it's a hard road
Carry your own load
Why make the hard road?
Why can't we be friends?
No need to hurry
We'll meet in the end
Why make the hard road?
Why can't we be friends?
No need to worry
Let's sing it again
Brother's sharing, mother's caring
Nightime falling victim to the dawn
Shadows small
Days are crawling, time is calling
To the Earth another life is gone
Love line drawn
Oh, it's a hard road
Carry your own load
Oh, it's a hard road
Oh, it's a hard road...
Forget all your sorrow, don't live in the past
And look to the future, `cause life goes too fast, you know
Forget all your sorrow, don't live in the past
And look to the future, `cause life goes too fast, you know
Forget all your sorrow, don't live in the past
And look to the future, `cause life goes too fast, you know...
Long Live Black Sabbath
Sabbath forever .....not a radio song!!!!!
Love this song, seemed so underrated.
Whenever I listen to this song I can't help but feel Ozzy being fired Sabbath helped bring about the end of the great era that was the 1970s (also being this was in '78). It's like after all those years things eventually things just started coming to an end. I honestly wish I'd be going through my 20s right now in the 1970s as I cherish this band not to mention this kind of music, and it seemed that life back in the late 60s/early 70s was truly a time to be living with what I read and what I've been told by my mother what society was like back then.
A majority of people nowadays will get stoned to EDM or some shitty hip-hop/RnB/rap, but Sabbath is my go to preference, just so I can get a small taste of how the 70s probably would've been.
I know the feeling
People just don't realize how much they miss something until it's not there any more. I had a blast back in the 70's. Every weekend a van load of super model looking girls used to pick me up and take me rock shows. I seen Sabbath a lot of times, and they were never bad. They always delivered. I love every song Black Sabbath ever made, and I will never understand why they picked on Ozzy like that! He did not deserve to be fired. He was the glue that held the band together, and he proved how great he is with his solo career. Yeah, I love his solo stuff too, but not as much as I do Black Sabbath with Ozzy. They just clicked so well. Even to this day, I'll never understand the break up. They were always awesome!
Josh P - I'm 62, and I first started listening to Black Sabbath in 1971, in 8th grade. The first negative song, that was kind of HEAVY, that made me like that genre of music, was the Jefferson Airplane's "Somebody To Love" in '67. Then I bought the Stooges first album in 1969, when I was 12. Then Sabbath came along and I always ranked Ozzy era Black Sabbath as some of the best of the '70s. However, I never could get the planets to align for me to see them live and ended up seeing Judas Priest on their first American tour, opening for REO Speedwagon(of all groups!)in 1977. However, my wish came true in November of 1978, when Black Sabbath brought their 'NEVER SAY DIE' tour to our area. My girlfriend was happy also, as her favorite group, Van Halen, did their first American tour, opening for Sabbath. I don't remember much about Van Halen, but I still remember that Ozzy wore the purple and green, fringed top that he has been photographed in during the '70s. Having listened to Sabbath since '71, and having seen Priest in '77 and finally Black Sabbath in '78, I have often felt like I witnessed the birth of Metal. I have been to many, many concerts and seen alot of groups that made me love my Hard Rock and Metal music, clear through to Type O Negative. NOW? IN 2019? THERE AIN'T SHIT. Glad I'm 62!!!
Yeah music was better back then but no mobile phones.
First concert I saw was in 1976 and it was Black Sabbath and Bob Segar. Also got to see AC/DC later that year for $3.50 UFO opened for them. The 70’s kicked ass.
Abba should have done a cover of this brilliant song...I don't know but there's something in the verses and what not that makes me think of Abba melody wise.🤔😁😁
man had to hear it again. just a good feel song despite the title. always lifts my spirit. sabbath can go from dark & heavy to upbeat and its all GREAT. one of the GREATEST BANDS OF ALL TIME. & my personal favorite
The ironically titled Never Say Die is sorely underrated. Although it was created under the most difficult circumstances for the band it still represents an evolving musical journey for Sabbath. It really doesn't sound like any other of the original lineup albums and many reject it because of there's no fantasy element. The songs reflect the gritty realities of the late 70s: burnout, inflation, the death of the hippie dream and the birth of punk.
The heavy metal Beatles.one of black Sabbaths best albums
Ohhhhh its a hard road
Love all the Ozzy era Sabbath albums. They had a very distinctive sound and stong riffs from the ' king of riffs', but every album still sounds fresh and different. Especially if you compare to someone like AC/DC who sound similar now to how they did years ago (still love 'em though).
i like this song its over looked under rated and forgotten about. ozzys voice is prime ALL HAIL. THE MIGHTY SABBATH
Lol.. Oz's Looking So Pretty & Innocent 👼
I remember this concert pin stripe bass 1978 MSG NYC Terrance Butler Bass it was Awesome
Been a Sabbath fan all my life. Thank you for another cool video. I will see you on Feb. 25 16 at Madison Square Garden NYC. can't wait. Saw you guys at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn N.Y. 2014 for the 13 tour. Concert was amazing. First saw Sabbath in 1972. Really hope this is not The End. God Bless You All.
+Charles Wode They'll be at Mohegan Sun in CT too
+Charles Wode I cannot picture Sabbath coming back in ten years. Ozzy would probably die in stage if that happened. That would be the most metal thing in history, but still..
Black Sabbath till' the End of Time \m/
so many great sabbath w/ozzy. songs. this one is catchy and has good meaning. all around great song !! all hail the ORIGINAL 4 kings - we all know as. BLACK SABBATH
10/10!
One of my favorite Black Sabbath songs due to 4 things... the lyrics, Guitar rifts, and ozzy's tones and the driving singular bass line tone.
Great song !
Thank you
Simplesmente eternos
Únicos❤🎉
Still a cool song even nowadays

Never say die great album juniors eyes another great
Sabbath totally rules! One of the best songs!
But I really wonder who are the "five dislikers"? Why would someone dislike this song? You don't like Sabbath, you don't watch this video. It's simple! Though I also couldn't possibly understand, how can someone not like Black Sabbath!
epic!!!
LOVE IT MAN
Great !!!
Great song reflects every thing for them you can see it in Ozzys whole performance
Supremo!!
This song is great for keeping your morale up during the shit times
I think this song has to do so much to me! 🤘

+Joke Coke same here dude I love Sabbath man
I've seen OZZY 7 X and Sabbath 3X but not this latest album I haven't and probably won't because my body won't work right sucks being unable do stuff now closest they are coming is Mrs. Square garden in New York and I can't even handle the ride let alone the venue if they could play in Connecticut very possibly I might be able to go with a wheelchair someone has to push me it's killing me that I'm not going to be able to see them when I'm fucking sober now and I want to see them sober
Thanks to my ex girlfriend Melanie for getting me into this song. Hope you're doing well in New Jersey my friend.
4:20 salve a todos os Brs aaqui. estrada dificil paporra
Principalmente agora 🇧🇷
This is such a beautiful song from an amazing album. But even after 40 plus years, there are bits of the lyric that I can't figure out. Please, please, please, Geezer - publish the original lyrics!!! The lyric sites are all full of obvious mistakes! Give us the official document so that these words aren't lost to time!!!
Funny how many people think Never Say Die is a “bad” album. Practically no band today could even come close to it.
Is it just me or this clip was filmed at the same venue for A Decade Of Black Sabbath concert?
Pedro Yi Hammersmith odeon
i dont know why this album gets so much shit, this, never say die and juniors eyes are some of my favorite sabbath songs
The voice of Geezer Butler.
?
@@jamer625 he wrote all the songs plus he did as well as the rest did back up vocals on this song.. (Im assuming)
As great as any, maybe better!
What happened to the opening riff ?
Beatlesque...
Great album if I had to pick my favorite I may say paranoid , master, sabotage heaven and hell uh oops I wanna put black sabbath in #4 never say die, vol 4 damn this is hard!!! Tech x I wanna put up in top 5 if I had to choose I may put sabbs bloody sabbs at the rear mob rules is great to I saw the duo tours with sabbs the most. Mob rules and live evil tour:-) rip dio
Qe pasada de canción de los cuatro ginetes del apocalipsis de birmynghan
Don't get me wrong. I love Ozzy's solo music, but nothing compares to what Black Sabbath did. They all had a unique sound and it was great. Tony had his own style on the guitar. He made his guitar sound so cool man! I like Randy, but Tony actually had a more raw sound for Sabbath and he fit that band like a glove. Nobody could replace him. I seen Black Sabbath a few times, and they were always great! I was pissed off when Ozzy left the band. They were good with Dio, but not like when Ozzy was with them. Don't get me wrong, in his own right, Dio was awesome, but the Oz fit Sabbath better than anyone else, and the same holds true for the rest of the band members too.
Granted this album doesn't sound like early Sabbath but I thoroughly enjoy nearly every song on it. A THOUSAND times better than Technical Ecstasy which is the only original line-up Black Sabbath album that I just NEVER dig up to give a listen to.
Exactly the same thing happens to me
@impeller speed Welp buster..... you was right. I put EVERY Black Sabbath with Ozzy on my Ipod and have listened to Technical Ecstasy front to back atleast a dozen times. It is much better than my first impressions 20 plus years ago. Especially You Won't Change Me. I think some of the reasons why I've changed my mind is that back then I listened at home where I would change the song right away if I wasn't getting into it. Where as now I listen at work and I have to let all the songs play through. Plus at work I don't have that Technical Ecstasy album cover in my hands to look at and study. That horrible album cover just totally creates the wrong vibe.
Glad you got to catch up with the pretty decent 7th album from Sabbath (as indicated in your later comments). Better than NSD for sure! Though the finale of the original lineup has its good moments, it's easily the worst LP of the original line-up. But, I've never seen this video before and it does sound like it's a live drum track or a Different Drum track on it. This is like the first time in my life I've ever talked to anyone who's owned the Sabbath on the sides the few High School buddies were with me the day I bought the the final album the complete the original lineup Black Sabbath collection
I like the last two Ozzy-era albums much better than Mob Rules. Underrated records.
Tony on his John diggins custom-made guitar
Where's his mic
In his head.
Enfim, e o Sabbath! Não existe música ruim com esses caras.
Não fala isso. O Never Say Die! é uma aula de bateria por parte do Bill Ward. Meu álbum favorito do Black Sabbath
Guitar solo is different from the album? This isn't live??
It was coz' in the 1970s and '80s music unions had strict rules about having to re-record singles for appearances on TV. Don't know how many bands adhered to this but this would explain why some songs on British TV are different to the original recording.
Fraxinus! However, I think this is a promo video rather than TV
