    Available Now: mercury-studios.lnk.to/BlackS...
After nearly fifty years it was the final show of Black Sabbath’s Farewell Tour back where it all began in their home city of Birmingham, the industrial heart of England.
There could be no more appropriate place for the Godfathers of Heavy Metal to take their last bow. Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Ozzy Osbourne delivered a set that focused on Black Sabbath’s classic seventies albums, the albums that defined a genre and inspired future generations.
It was an extraordinary, emotional night for both the band and the fans and one that will never be forgotten.

I keep seeing people say that Ozzy was out of tempo or something, and listening to the original, I can hear it now. The thing I don't understand is how some people act like just because the tempo may be a bit off it ruins the performance. I honestly prefer this live performance over the original performance. The song aged well and I love how much deeper and dark this one sounds. Ozzy's voice being different, older, deeper, and the great new sounds from the instruments they used here are so great and I would say add so much more power to feeling of the song. Going back to tempo, I honestly don't understand why people care so much. Yes, it has it's own way of making the song unique and creepy, but it doesn't make the entire song. The dark, bone chilling, addicting vibe it had before is still there, and again, I'd argue that now since time has passed it's added to the strength of it. I can't stop listening to it and giving into the chaos of it all. It's really great.

I am 61, been listening to Sabbath since 1971, saw them in 1978, and I just realized that I had NEVER heard this song done WITHOUT Bill Ward. The connector of Geezer Butler and Bill Ward is TOTALLY missing in this case. I am just giving something that stands out as far as I'm concerned. Geezer's playing bass as topnotch as ever, but Bill Ward's perfectly matched drumming sure is MISSING!

Maybe that's why Ozzy sounds out of whack. Doesn't have that sinister darkness he usually does. He seems preoccupied.

@Neil Blööm Without Bill Ward it's not really Sabbath, Bill was in tune and played with Geezer and Ozzy's vocals. This guy is the closest to Bill I've heard, but it's not the same.

Atemporal!

This song still sounds heavy now, with half a century's worth of development in the genre. Hearing for the first time in 1970, before all the more extreme stuff came about... it must have sounded like the end of the world. Especially for those in a herbally altered state of consciousness.
