- It's been a classic chateau week - decorating, partying, cooking and dealing with uninvited animal guests. I'd briefly forgotten the madness of life at Lalande during my travels, but I wouldn't have it any other way! My friends arrived to celebrate Halloween, and I grabbed the opportunity to put Michael to work in his apartment which urgently needs finishing! Mummy, Percy and Scotman also returned, along with a tenacious family of hedgehogs...

I love that the chateau has become a hedgehog sanctuary. Now they'll have a nice and cosy winter with all the food and water they need! :-)

Happy All Hallowes' Eve, and Blessed Samhain! I love the little Hedgehogs, and that they've taken up residence inside LaLande. They are precious, and are supposed to be good luck! I loved this vlog but it seemed to be over as soon as it started! Don't work too hard, although I know you will. I wish Marie would come back to LaLande. She was such a wonderful presence--it seemed like she belonged there. We are getting snow and high winds in Indiana already. I love Fall and Spring, but Winter is too cold here. Be well!
The hedgehog is adorable! Only you and La Lande would have such a unique house guest.
I am so jealous HedgePigs!! Ii always had them years ago till I moved into City but now not seen one for years, How lucky you are, I must come to visit I am Electrical Engineer by Trade but have done lots of other stuff so if I can help just let me know. PS: Retired now so lots of time but no money LOL!
Another lovely vlog. You work hard but its clear you live a good life at the chateau. Nice to see the hedgehogs. This is the first year in decades we havent had them in our garden. You're lucky.
