- My quarantine inside the Chateau de Lalande is over and I'm finally free to roam around the chateau! My mother and I are able to eat together in the kitchen at last 🥖🧀🍷
I discover an accident that befell in one of the bedrooms whilst I was out of the way, but soon cheer up as Mummy shows me the new shoots appearing in the vegetable garden 🌱🏰🌱
I was supposed to post Part 3 of my wonderful holiday with Scotman in Vietnam and Cambodia today, but have spent so long filming an epic tour of the chateau (to be released tomorrow!), that it will have to wait till next week! That's why the number of this vlog looks out of sequence - episode 110 is delayed 😊

Dear Grandmother, please don't be upset about the dishes. 12 years ago my house burned down. And we lost everything. Even my storage building. but I had ceramic Kilns ceramic molds. All my flowers. All my sewing. 4 complete China sets 12. place setting each. I hate seeing you so upset. I have lived through that and many other hardships. my beloved husband went to heaven 4 years ago. So please don't cry!

The intro was very good - Like you said if you stumble across your videos, you have no idea what's going on, so this is a very good idea. I recently started watching you videos (I'm binge watching them all now) and it would have been very good to see that intro when I started, so for me at least, I think that intro was an exellent idea.
If everyone of the “tomato” plants grows successfully, you will need to set up a vegetable stand on the highway.

Just watched again... most of the broken china pieces are on the bigger side, maybe it a could be a project to glue them back together, they would only be decorative but better than gone! My sister repaired the handle of a huge Spode milk jug that had come off whole, with some other small pieces totally missing, an eBay purchase sent from the UK to Australia in a cardboard archive box with almost no packing or fragile sticker. The small missing pieces must have departed through the cutout handles on the sides! She used a molding clay to fill the gaps, painted the sections white and then painted the design on and added liquid glaze to finish. 'Sculpey' Glass Glaze made in the USA. This glaze is fantastic, I used it the other day to repair small chips in the rim of plates that go in the dishwasher.
This piece was an incredible find and one of 4 we have in various designs in the large round dairy jug shape - it is in the Italian pattern in pink / red - when we contacted the Spode Archive shop to replace it, they had no record of the jug ever being made in this colour... the total cost was refunded.. 200GBP about 10 years ago now but it had been in perfect condition.
The jugs are used for flowers but this one has silk flowers only... no water, just in case!

Are you going to try your hand at preserving your produce. I grew up doing that and still do. Nothing like preserving your own tomatoes in your favorite herbs. Yummy. That greenhouse is lovely. You did such a wonderfull job fixing it up. I can't wait for tomorrows video. Have you heard how Scott man THE LEGEND is doing? Please send well wishes to him for me. I do enjoy his positivity. He is a special person as are you. Thank you for the videos. They are a lovely respite from the days stress. 😄 And yes I love the new intro.
Debbie here....soak chives in a white wine vinegar for a few months, then strain and the chive vinegar is delightful on salads and other dishes....you can soak small onions in the chive vinegar for delightful treat..such a pretty pink as well.

Blueberries love acidic soil so I use coffee grinds and spent tea bags to crate gardening tea and it’s great stuff for the plants.

With broken porcelain you could mosaic an improv a fountain somewhere near the greenhouse, even the sink area.It's so beautiful out there with the peacocks,dog,chickens,blossums.I could almost smell it all.
