@@jon9719You sure about that Jonny boy?
I don't know MUCH about Scotland, although I have been there plenty of times, but FROM THAT LITTLE I KNOW I do not believe this the end for Scottish Independence, rather a "delay", especially if the politicians in London will carry on their "pro-european" bull**ts...
PS. Does anybody can tell me how Edinburg voted?
*****
...hmm!..."funny"! :)
I got EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE impression from all the times I went there. :)
...but - on the other side - the LAST time I was in Scotland was ten years ago, and many things may have changed in ten years - and /(OR) - I SIMPLY (by accident) met the "wrong" people - even though they were all very nice - I've always found Scotts very friendly (maybe not AS FRIENDLY AS THE IRISH, but still quite "open-hearted" and friendly people). :)
It's also true that I stayed mainly in Edinburgh or (2 times) in Glasgow - things can change quite a lot when you go out from the heart of abig city and go into the countryside, or travel from the "Lowlands" to the "Highlands" and so on...
Eventually the result of the vote may be INTERPRTED NOT as an:
"NO FOR INDEPENDENCE"
- but as an:
"NO FOR THE PARTITION OF BRITAIN"
- since I saw that this ..."feeling" of "being British", that "idea of a COMMON PAST" was (and still is) quite strong... :)
PARDON ME! - You haven't responded to my question - do You know how Edinburgh voted?
Edinburgh voted "NO" by 60-40 .
We yes voters and proud patriotic Scots will continue to go for Independence.
Pro European bullshit?
Lies from the tories got them to choose no at the last minute
Scotland said NO!!! 👍😂🏴🇬🇧

My Scottish brothers .. ya wee bampots ya’s ... love ur English brethren x watp
I like them I just don't want to be in a union with them. Or my European brothers. I want an independent Scotland.
@@MonAheadBigMan9337 too bad it's not what you want but scottland
@@Mo-hc9lc well we'll have a better picture in May. I know I'll be voting SNP. Every campaign they do is transparently on independence so if the Scottish people keep voting them in Westminster can only deny a second referendum for so long. And the longer they delay it the more apparent it becomes to Scots that our voice doesn't matter in the union.
@@MonAheadBigMan9337 no westminister promised us the refferendum will be respected for a generation. Not only that 35% of scotts vote snp on majority dont but its split between other parties bet you didnt know that lol. Ehats your issue with just not respecting democracy unless it goes your way
@@Mo-hc9lc the once in a generation line is nothing but overplayed rhetoric. It's a soundbite that doesn't mean anything. The NO campaign in Scotland was constantly talking about how Scottish people would be out of the EU if we went independent which evidently didn't matter did it because England took us out anyway so I suppose that lie cancels out the other does it? You saying once in a generation is so stupid because so many things have changed since then.
The SNP had a 46.5% vote share in the last Scottish Parliamentary election. The greens (another pro independence party) got 0.6%. While not the majority of votes it only had a 55% voter turnout. Why? Because younger voters have lower turnouts for elections. But for referendums turnout numbers are typically higher and polling shows that support for Scottish independence is higher with the younger people in the population. And polling shows support for independence has increased in general. www.bbc.co.uk/news/election/2016/scotland/results
The turnout for the general election was about 67% whereas the turnout for the independence referendum was 85% the majority making up that difference being young voters.
Also weird appeal to democracy. We live in a first past the post system not a pure democracy. So if the party is consistently being voted in on the basis that they are pushing for independence that has to be considered otherwise nothing would get done. The Tory party only got 43% of the vote share for the last general election so going by your logic I suppose they should not really have any power should they?
😂😂🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧
All young. Independence is coming.
I don’t think it’ll happen for 40-50 years if at all. Politics and society will change drastically and independence will not even be a talking point.
@@iancanavan2324 you were saying ?
@@Spirit-Of-The-Age Even the SNP don't want the next UK GE to be regarded as a referendum on independence anymore.
Independence without it the people can't make there own decisions England has voice but northern Ireland Wales and Scotland doesn't are we better of without a voice or have a voice and do what we want and have freedom once again
Are you on drugs? Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales both have their own parliament (devolution) England is the only nation that doesn't have its own parliament
How does having no MPs in Westminster increase our voice?
