I just got an EXN HS and about to go on my first ride 🙂 My first wheel is my beloved Nikola AR+ ❤️ lol
The build quality internally of the Leaperkim product is always going to be superior to that of the Begode wheel, that is the main reason the engineers left the latter company to set up Leaperkim and went on to build the original Sherman, etc, which was and still is a design classic, the max only improves on the design. Absolutely agreed!!! My max is so solid and reliable and the only thing I needed to do was to change to spiked honeycomb pedals, add a seat and bumpers. None of those were crucial to rider safety. I wish leaperkim were to bulit a trail wheel similar to the master. In that case, I would be really happy to swap begode poor qc to a more realible leaperkim wheel 😁

very nice comparision, i had the same experience but i still love my EXN, some modifications later its a solid performance compact wheel, can you make a review of your feeling on the Master ?
Thank you 🙏 yes I am planning to do a more comprehensive review of the master, just waiting for the freezing weather to get better so to get some footage. Also I have just installed a fox shock and kuba linkage on the molicel version so I will get a few more miles on it before getting an idea, but so far I am loving the combo 😊
Tuff choice, i had a EXn hs. Like the allround thing chould handle everything. Not best at one thing but good at allmost all.... And the ride feeling is so mutch better then Sherman. There is no perfect wheel.... The quality is what it is, My 🔋 start to fail on my EXn 😒 so sold it cheap. No ride msp HT for now, looking for new wheel but its start to get crazy 💸💸💸💸 ailienrides sell EXn ht 1700 dollars in usa. Not in Europe 😔

What was the top speed you could hit on the max? Btw i thought the max had way more torque and about the same top speed because the limits on the max are set with a higher safety margin in mind than the exn so riding the beeps is safer on the Sherman than the exn
You are correct! The torque on the max is greater than on the exn, which was extremely noticible on steep inclines. Top speed I have hit on the Max was 49 mph vs 50.8 mph on the EXNhs ( Note: both numbers are from euc world and unfortunately not gps corrected ).
On the racing track, however, I found the exn to have the edge against the max. Due to the weight factor ( less weight and more at the front - I was riding it backwards ) and that it beeped later, I felt I could push the exn more than the max speed wise. Yes, I was riding the beeps myself on the max but it felt more reassuring to have the beeps when needed like it happened with the exn (as soon as I heard beeps I would slow down).
As far as I understood, Leaperkim has set the pwm to beep at 70% whereas Gotway to 80% so the latter beeps later but with less safety margin. Hope it helps 👍
