- I have now passed 4,000 rounds with my Archon Type B. I have also ran it through The Tactical Games which is a two day shooting event. All types of ammunition has been used and it has not been cleaned once. I am happy to say that I have NOT had any issues yet.

They don't really advertise it but the Archon actually uses CZ-75 pattern magazines. I've been using Mec-Gar 17 round CZ-75 with my Archon without any issue.

I also love my Archon, only have about 300 rounds so far but this is the Flattest, Fastest and Very Accurate pistol of all the striker guns I have shot. I also have the Salient Arms Strike One Tier One and I Love that one even more.
had mine for a while, got the TTI base pads for all my 4 mags. love the type B. 800 rds so far and last 600 rds was without any cleaning. ran tula, wolf steel case with no issues.
I love the aggressive texture for the obvious reasons. Great review

Bro where are you? That’s a pa shirt and a Rockwell tactical poster. Also I own two archons both broke something around 2k. Neither are early productions and at this time I just can’t recommend them for carry. With that said currently the type b is my favorite pistol.
Nice to know it's running very well. Wouldn't mind trying one to switch things up from ye ole' G19.

Standardco will have one with shorter frame looks chopped but it’s made that way. That would help for carrying
I love my Type B have a bit over 500 through mine no issues. You say you waited, I ordered mine from Rain6 9/2016 received 11/2018
It looks like the same ergos as the Steyr M9. I dig it. I had an M9, but I sadly got rid of it due to the funky sights.

I got a Stryke B last year just when IPSC-matches were shutdown again in Austria due to the bug. Now I was able to shoot it a couple times statically and I m waiting for the matches to start again. Holsters are a bit of a hassle to find but I discovered that my Beretta APX sports holster (made by Ghost) works for the Stryke B as well! So great, I didnt need an extra holster - I can use the IPSC rig for my APX for the Stryke B as well!

I shot the Archon at Shot Show media day for the first time, love at first shot! I’ve had zero issues. Definitely a solid purchase!!

Paul Goss I don’t know of any plans from Archon to offer a RDS model
There are several companies that have started to offer optic cut services for the archon typpe b for many of the different optics on the market. Most of them don't offer cuts for the popular Trijicon rmr but I recently found MAC defense which figured out how to fit the rmr.

What Taran Tactical base plates fit these mags? They dont have them listed.
Calvin Prestwich Archon Type B base plates fit the mags. They are specific to the model. Look at Rain6’s website
