    I have the Salient Arms Strike One Tier One and it is my Favorite pistol in my collection, it is by far the Flattest, Fastest Tracking, Accurate and most Reliable pistol I have ever seen or shot.

    I've had a Strike One for 3 years now. Sad they stopped making them but I'm glad I have one. Still looking forward to get a new Archon B

    Enjoyed the video/info. I bought a used one in 2019 and it came with the extra 12 inch barrel and the factory carbine chassis/brace rig. Also the mag catch is reversible. I am a lefty ,so I like that option.

    I'm impressed! You guys were back on target instantly. I had checked out an Arsenal in a local store, but I lost interest when I pulled the trigger. What did you think of the trigger on yours?

    • @GBGuns
      @GBGuns  Před 4 lety +1

      It's not bad, but no Walther. This was intended as a duty gun and so has a duty trigger. The reset is rather soft so it requires almost a pull and release method of shooting.

    Which front sight is compatible?

  • @snowgorilla9789
    @snowgorilla9789 Před 4 lety

    Interesting the one I had about six years ago in Canada was a great shooter as well as long as you only shot ball/round nose it would NOT shoot anything else I think a design flaw with half the feed ramp on the barrel and half on the frame the couple of thousands clearance between the two would cause anything other than round nose to bite into it and jam nice to see one work

    • @GBGuns
      @GBGuns  Před 4 lety

      I hadn't heard of those issues. If any of the rounds we tested would have been similar it would be the American Gunner. Was it the same problem with all mags?

    • @snowgorilla9789
      @snowgorilla9789 Před 4 lety +1

      @@GBGuns yes I even tried course polish with a dremel to smooth it out but I think it needed a milling machine that unfortunately I did not own at the time, traded it for a CZ Shadow and still got a good buck because they were new and hot at the time

  • @CharlesR91
    @CharlesR91 Před 3 lety

    What did you think about the trigger? I've heard some people say that the reset was long and kind of hard to find, and caused people to miss it when firing quickly.

    • @GBGuns
      @GBGuns  Před 3 lety +1

      I think that's a personal preference/skill level thing. It's not my favorite but didn't cause any issues.

    Help me out because I don't know,, what are suicide sights? Thanks for the vid, I always enjoy them.

    • @Locke99GS
      @Locke99GS Před 4 lety +6

      When he says suicide sights, he's referring to the fact that the pistol sights have dots on the front. Those could only be useful if you were pointing the pistol at yourself.
