playing an archery/martial combat blaster currently and its been a blast so far; the passive dmg boost is really nice with the fast animation powers archery has

I loved water/ice blaster and energy/power and electric/electric blasters the best my first was electric/electric on the original game but I really prefer trollers and defs and all human peace bringer no transform powers just blast and shield and heals. Corruptor is ok and so is dom and can't wait to try sentinel out this afternoon when I get the game on new computer yay but am going with fire/rad troller first and get her to lvl 50 and just go from there I have really missed the game so much and been missing champions online a lot as well. My first toon when I joined in week one of original game was a Fire / Devices. I mostly soloed and wanted a high damage aoe toon to farm street groups. Devices with calthrops, trip mines and gun drone (I think it was turret back then). Would throw down calthrops and then hit street groups with a double aoe blast and picked off any survivors that charged into my Cals or later tripped my mines. Toon was my first 50 and had well over a billion in gear when he was last respec'd.
Sounds like a blast! Literally. I’m messing with a beam rifle/devices since the changes to dev and it’s fantastic. Definitely a good time to give them a chance.
The main reason I used to take devices is I figured the drone would allow me to drop one accuracy slot in my build. It really doesn't though. It's worth about half a slot. So if I only take accuracy to two slots with the drone, I end up missing too much. Which is annoying.
My first blaster was sonic/power and made it to lvl 50 with it.

Probably mentionned in the comments somewhere but energy blast can use kb-kd in every power from sudden acceleration and its not just a chance

Ive seen this on 2 of your class breakdowns. OF is chance for Knockdown and KB->to Knockdown. Basically if a power has no knock it can proc one. If it does have a knock then it becomes a knockdown always. OF is unique however The proc in the Sudden acceleration is allowed to be slotted in 5 as well. And if your energy blast OF and force feedback in explosive blast. Single target KB isnt a problem. Also Hurricanes issue is its repel not its KB
Coming back to this game after playing live a decade ago, looks like they got rid of diminishing returns for stacking enhancements? Is that correct or no?
I'm playing a lvl 19 Fire/Fire Magic/Blaster with Sorcery added. Any advice for this build? I use it for team missions only, and I'm not much for buffing others, I prefer to just do alot of damage. Thanks!
With a blaster that’s all you need to do is damage

MisterLister FisterSister Sentinel Beam Rifle gets an extra targeted AoE ability that Blaster doesn’t get, in place of the snipe power. You can check out my Sentinels video for more information on their powersets.
I've seen 2 videos you did on the Blasters powers now and noticed that you leave out a couple powers in the explanations that are very powerful and essential to those sets.. First is in Temporal Manipulation, Temporal Healing is not even mentioned, and yet this is a monster power from the set. The boost to Regen and Recharge is very good and can be the difference of life and death to a blaster without a good healer around. The second is along the same lines and comes from Tactical Arrow, Eagle Eye. This one i really can't understand being left out as it not only gives Regen and Recharge boost but also ACC and Perception boost and turns a normal blaster into a monster.. ;) might want to revisit those a bit..
Khan Dragon I appreciate the feedback, I’ll be sure to give those sets more attention in the future. Specifically tactical arrow has been mentioned to me before. I have a new format coming up that hopefully makes all of the information more available and digestible.
Where are people PvP'ing in CoH right now? I regularly check Bloody Bay and Sirens Call and never see anyone!
Dude you have no idea what you are talking about.. stop guessing about what you think a power does and research before you make opinions about the powers.
Good stuff on builds but the holier than thou on a subjective contest nearly lost me. Just stick to technical stuff and refrain from attempting to put yourself over on good costumes
Those are noob builds, they have build stats for fire def but the resistance is low
Common man do something about that mic. Idc that you dont have the best mic it's alright you ain't been on youtube for that long but fucks sake this is too much, seriously how can a human being listen 5min of this without bleeding from the ears??? Do something man idk but do something, this is just torture
