Hi there, my name is Eero Westerberg and I am the head coach of VAHVA Fitness. My specialty lies in mixing the Western and Eastern knowledge of health and fitness together into a combination that actually works, is proven and produces real tangible results.
I developed my methods by studying health & wellness and strength & conditioning for over a decade and by working as a professional in the field for over 6 years. Together with my training partner Samuli, we also traveled the world for over 4 years researching different ancient methods of strengthening and taking care of the human body.
Our programs and courses are well praised and endorsed by countless personal trainers, teachers and coaches, PhDs in physical therapy, physiotherapists, martial artists, recreational and professional athletes and many others just to name a few.
Although our training goes deeper than the surface and offers unique ways of developing the body and realizing one's potential, we also have complete beginners starting out with our methods.
It doesn't matter whether you are in the beginning or at advanced stages in your physical journey, sky is the limit for all of us and we all want to look better, feel better and most importantly move better.

Very inspiring! I haven't worked out in quite a few years and noticed the one body part that suffered most was pullups, before I could do twenty to thirty and now would be lucky to do three to five. Whereas, I tested myself with pushups and did thirty in thirty seconds. Twenty-five years ago, I did 2,057 squats in an hour and today would be lucky to do one thousand. I do have some work to do over the next couple of years and started again six months ago at age sixty-four.
Who is the QiGong Master in the Video ?

Sprinting, wrestling, lifting+carrying things+pressing it overhead, hiking long distances, farming/manual labor.
Yes
Remove modern sports( Specialized Training) and PED's, Mankind has to survive even in not so good environments. You have to preform during hunger, malnutrition and lack of sleep. That is true fortitude & functional fitness.
Fortitude but not fitness
Exactly. Modern athletes aren't truly masculine and warrior like.
@@yoeyyoey8937why not fitness?
@@PassionateSpirit88 warriors and athletes are different though. Even the ancient Spartans commented on this. A warrior has to put up with bad conditions and be resourceful and brave. An athlete is all about top end performance
@@yoeyyoey8937 True. Athletes shouldn't get more praise.
perfect. add the proper exposition to sun light, nature. intermittent fasting and healthy eating habits. oh and most important of all peace of mind
Before the pandemic, I trained in Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu. Just doing the forms, horse stance, monkey crawls, monkey stance, etc., got me in some of the best shape of my life - in my mid to late 40's. Thanks for giving me some ideas to get that edge back without having to go to a dojo or gym. Great stuff.
I am glad I found this CZcams Channel,so many techniques I have never heard of and a functional training that's really different than anything I've seen before
Cool Minecraft Videos ❤ Happy Excercising!!
Seriously if you stepped foot in any serious martial art school you would have known about these ones, for instances absolutely all of the training presented here from animal movements to dynamic weight lifting to ancient yoga were a part of the training at my gracie barra brazilian jiujitsu academy, so yeah knowing these is cool practicing them with people who actually can teach and correct you is even better, i'm now a coach for kids in this martial arts and it's been a blessing to see them succeed in competition, anyway my message here is never train alone, find yourself a good club and you will go as far you as you wish.
every type of training ist funktional

@@williamm4366, Its not all about winning in a competition, it is about self development and learning to be harmonious with the world.
Now this is what I call movement research. Great stuff.
Sprinting is also one of the best if not the best over all body and hormone stimulation and it still on top all the way from pre - man to modern man.
Of all the running sports , sprinting athletes seem to age better and live longer than the marathon running or cycling. I don’t know , but I’d say that it’s hormonal.
@@BigBoaby-sg1yoIt's because extreme long distance running increases cortisol
@@salj.5459 yes ! I know , that’s why I said “ it’s hormonal “
My endless mindless scroling has finaly paid off. Thank you my dear fellow human for opening this new realm for me 🙏🏻

Love this video, very inspiring! Thanks for uploading
This makes much more sense than the mechanical and repetitive exercises of today…
I am sick of it and taking kick boxing again.
Hmmm nope, simply are different goals
@@josezamora3365 yes different goals, one simply builds muscle for the sake of building it, with little care for functionality and balance between muscle groups
the other, whether you like it or not, is going to force you to building all muscle groups in conjunction with each other, keeping them balanced, will provide more than just muscle building but elasticity, flexibility and balance. So you're reaching the same goal of increasing your muscle size and getting stronger, while getting all the other benefits as well. The concept of adding weights to your body or your equipment still applies.
and even if the goals were different, the point that "this makes more sense" is still true, because this makes your training practical and useful in real life, unlike "I can dead-lift 500 pounds for 2 seconds yo"
This information is what I've been looking for!!! I finally find it in this ocean of content!! Thank you!!

BodhiDharma travelled to china from India and taught the Chinese monks on how to defend themselves. Which was renamed as kungfu. kalayaripattu in India is the mother of all martial arts.
Jiri Procjazka is here! I think i found my favorite fitness channel
Quality 👌
Eero: truly excellent. The only small contribution I would add is that, in the present era, the explicit cultivation of deep relaxation while being completely awake as a stand-alone practice) can be beneficial for modern humans, in addition to your five ancient methods. Great work.
Thanks bro
Was that Jiri Prochazka at 8:31? Just stumbled upon your channel and I am not disappointed!
I had the same thought
Yoga and flexibility meditation breathing exercises these are also the oldest traditional workout
Great video
Very good video❤
I am interested in those. Movements you ate doing, i am pretty sure if i apply them my power back will get stronger
Great!!
3:31 The Indic and Iranian traditions are an intrinsic part of WarYoga. These ancient strength systems have created warriors for centuries. The WarYoga books go into both of these traditions in detail.
That Shit was fucking inspirational & mindblowing - you living and working out the life I want to.
I do MMA professionally and my opinion is fighting with people is the best workout in the world . Much better than doing workout in a closed room .
Absolutely loved this video, speaks a lot about your above average wisdom when it comes to training.
There is an absolutely amazing Indian youtuber named Aniruudha Shaktiveer with same channel name, who specializes in Indian bodyweight training (dand/baithak) and their variations, deadlifts 280kilo at 102 kilo 5ft10inches bodyweight. Full natty (the way he looks).
Amazing info in his channel. He started out doing divebomber push ups and squats, and first time he joined a gym, at 60kilo he deadlifted 180 kilo and squatted 150kilo, the first day.
To miss his channel is to miss a lot. He makes videos in Hindi with English subtitles. Learned a lot from him. You will love his contents.
Heard some very strong and experienced wrestlers from India used to do thousands of Hindu squats and Hindu push ups everyday to create their powerful physiques
@@stespark Yeah. They did it primarily for endurance, because they had the skills to win the fights, but endurance was the determining aspect. Turns out, it made them strong as fuck.
And not just in pressing and pulling but also in picking heavy stuff off of the floor.
Chitt is a really ancient word in sanskrit for Consciousness.
Beautiful video. My favorite thing about our marriage is that we inspire each other to love unconditionally and readily. We never wait for the other person to act first or feel like we’re owed anything. We both give grace to each other because we believe we are ultimately good people and anything we say or do is never with bad intentions. Mistakes are made not because we are bad people or don’t love each other, it’s because we’re human, and we’re simply around to watch each other grow.
Good video my finnish brother
Love from India 🇮🇳

Thank u 🙏. Where can one find/ look to learn authentic qi gong please ?
I currently train five martial arts and two of them with trainer. So I guess those animal movements and Qi gon and maybe rope climb could be handy
thanks )))
Jiri prochazka !
that's some amazing acrobatics, very good for wrestling
cool video 🦁
Very fit for fast and furious, wow
Nice 👍
8:30 Jiri!!! :)
What's the bgm? And great video
great video. name of the song?
I have adjustable dumbbells where I can remove the plates from one side of the dumbbell. Can I use that as a weighted lever?
You could. But I wouldn't trust the weight not to come off when the clamps aren't really designed for that, and you really won't have the same leverage as a mace.
Do you have a video about your diet?
Rod exercises are also important.
Any good sandbag brands/recommendations?
Where can I buy the weighted levers in 3:33 ?
Can you please tell the music track name? Thx a much.
1. animal movements , 2. club swinging , 3. 75 lb sand bag hill climbs and squats , 4. Rope climbing . 5. Chigong
I would add kung fu. horse squats push ups pulls and climbing up mountains with weights
Cool gym's always looked a bit silly with those backwards and forwards motions
8:28 You trained Jiří Procházka?
based and ancient-pilled 👑🍀🕊📜⚔
When you go to program your workouts, how are you deciding what exercises to place? They all seem like they’re using many different muscle groups at once. How do you put them together to make sense and get the most out of your workout without over fatiguing. Also, do you sell programs?
Nevermind, I found them 😊
is that jiri at 8:31. from UFC?
and what about weighted hula hooping? 😊 it's fun and very versatile....
@Vahvafitness name of the song ?
Music is way too loud between narrator parts
Casual Prochazka feature😀
2:25 reminds me of the human centipede.
As an Indian now i understand how my ancestors used to beat invaders or mughals in war even being few in quantity 😂❤

Brother kalripattu is the oldest marshal art, a yogi bring this in chaina then this become kung fu
Many chainese came india and went back chaina and change name and did some custom thats why is different but work is same
