Faisal Can you do a review of the Scorpio N 4x4 diesel ?

Hi Faisal is xuv700 a good to buy vehicle ?
Please give your honest thoughts, as I have seen many negetive points regarding xuv700, specially suspension etc.
@@FasBeam
Faisal, can you comment about the safety of Fronx? It's based on the TECT body, the same as Brezza and grand vitara, but there was no mention of the platform used. Is platform the same as body? Or are they using a weak platform?
I own the automatic version with K15C engine.
The car is gem, i think this could be best product MS have ever created, Engine is refined, gearbox is great and responsive to demand. Bad pothole, roads, the car never disappoint. The headlight throw gives confidence when driving in night (60% of my driving is in night). The car is a "No non-sense" car.
On the highway the efficiency is always more than 20 kmpl, Max i have seen is almost 25 kmpl when traveling from Bangalore to Mysore, maintaining speed of 100 kmph (without cruise control). In city traffic i generally get something between 16 and 20 which is more than i would have ever expected.
Recently i did a trip to Kerala, a thousand kms trip (400 kms highway + 300 kms ghats + 300 kms decent roads) and the FE was around 17.5 at the end of the trip.
The car is an absolute gem.
Is this made from plastic as well?

And grand vitara 10 years ago had 170hp from 2.4. It’s evolving just backwards. Atleast give a 1.4 turbo
then you guys are gonna cry about mileage, petrol in country comparative to income is one of the highest in the world. It make absolutely no sense to get older grand Vitara that was sold on global platform in india and was already infamous for consuming too much because of bigger engines.
@@therewasanattempt152 yes

Wesa product 🤣
Hello 10 years ago it used to give a mileage of 8 kmpl and this one gives 16 kmpl so yeah things are evolving
@@therewasanattempt152well if you have not realised a lot has changed all these years.. XUV700 petrol sells in decent numbers.. Slavia/Virtus GT DSG also sells in decent numbers .. these are regular cars with a drinking habit but people these days don’t mind.. BOOSTERJET ENGINE IS DEFINITELY NEEDED, GRAND VITARA LOOKS MUCH BETTER THEN CRETA+SELTOS COMBINED, IMAGINE THE SALES OF CRETA AND SELTOS IF THIS WAS LAUNCHED WITH THE 1.5L DDIS (105PS+225Nm)
Naa bro not better than the older gen of creta
The new gen sucks ik
@@numb0126 Yeah , I'm talking about the new generation.

It may be underpowered..But its more than enough for cruising in highway at legal speeds. And extremely reliable and refined engine means no headache whatsoever..
I have not driven this car but driven ciaz its quite good to drive . Does anyone redline the engine? I haven't seen anyone doing that except youtubers. In autocar india's sedan comparison ciaz was fastest car in third gear and in fourth gear faster than honda and hyundai' NA engines. I don't know why youtubers term this as underpowered.
Bro driving and power is more than about what speed you can get to. Even a Splendor can drive at legal speeds but it’s about how quickly you get to that speed, acceleration, how much load your car puts on your engine. And the truth is the Grand Vitara is not just a “little” underpowered it is way below par.
@@deepanshjawrani nobody is buying a car to do a race or calculate 0-100 time... So it does offer a lot n is definitely a decent car.
@@shaktis6877 If you say that Ciaz is good to drive, wait until you drive a Verna/City/Virtus. I have a Ciaz and Verna, both Petrol and the Verna is leagues ahead of Ciaz in almost every aspect. I don't redline my Verna and I can happily cruise at 120kmph @ 2800 rpm (or 100kmph @ 2200 rpm) whereas the Ciaz would need a much higher rev limit to achieve the same speed as it comes with 5 speed.
Secondly, the Verna has oodles of lower end torque and I can pull off from 8kmph in 3rd gear which would be impossible with the Ciaz.
I have basically driven all C-Segment Sedans (since I own two myself) and Ciaz is the worst of all. It is noisy, bouncy, uncomfortable, built poor and has the worst performance in the entire C-Segment.
It is not just speed, it is about how comfortable a car is to drive. Having a powerful engine means you can carry more load and still drive effortlessly. The engine or gearbox of Ciaz doesn't help the cause either. I have driven non-stop for 800+kms multiple times on the Verna and did not develop even a single ache whereas I cannot say the same for Ciaz where 300+ kms without an ache will be a challenge.
MS needs to up its game or else it will continue to be only the 1st time car buyer's option. Their second purchase would definitely not be a MS

Extremely eager for Fronx 😀😀😀... Comes with good features, maruti good looks like it's new cars and ofc cheaper also 😀
Not cheaper at all now...
Actually they aren't like Mahindra which just launches in lower prices to attract people and then doesn't really give cars in that price
Maruti doesn't increase prices like others so people now think that they're overpriced... But in real life they're at par with the competition
@@harshudhani2432 they are at paar with competition..we all know that...i really like the rear and over all proposition of fronx but poor safety is disappointing
The 1.4 turbo engine in the grand vitara would kill its segments in power , killing them in everything else , will even with that engine

Maruti offers better cars than poTATA and Mahindra
Engine gap is provided to safeguard it during minor accidents and to stimulate the crushing mechanism of energy conversion, which, in turn, protect the driver from being injured.
Bro, if the present petrol engines are not compliant with the E20 blended fuel, which the government is about to introduce in April 2023 and would be made mandatory in the near future, do you think it makes sense to buy these hybrids now for a buyer from a long term perspective? The government also has a goal of E85 blend. Does buying these hybrids or even petrol cars make sense at this present point of time?
Fronx is good because it brought turbo petrol in maruti suzuki line up. Game will become more exciting now.
4:08 did anyone notice 😂
There is always some easter eggs in his videos, so I never skip the videos 😂♥️
where
Maruti suzuki grand vitara awd mild hybrid varient is good for the city drive better for the tricky situations but lacks energy in highway drive. Surprisingly the chasis and steering is improving.
Fronx sounds like a name I would pronounce in British accent with a tea cup in my hand.
so basically this car is NA altroz of maruti, amazing chasis, steering and handling but underpowered
Yesss I was waiting for this!
Can u put seats in the last row, single seats facing each other like bolero
The suspension is nicely setup. Interiors are good however, like pointed out in the video, the vehicle is grossly underpowered. In a place like Goa where the daily commute involves hills of various gradient levels, it was difficult to get out of 1st gear untill you really grind everything on offer till the engine is crying. Also, no key means your in trouble if the button start does not work.
bro bro stop there it is underpower only at high speed high rev at hills what is ur max speed? if u want drag race car then learn to biuld it from F&F
It's a good car for the price, just a little more horsepower would be nice

Is there any expected date of fronx , when it will be available in showrooms?
The sound which was coming from behind was of toolkit which was in the small storage 😂
The 1.4 turbo engine would kill its competitors, it’s the best in the segment already ,but in terms of power hold be with that 1.4 turbo

Maruti should pair their all big cars with their 1.2 Engine with a Turbo . If it happens everything will be crazy .
Because Maruti's 1.2 is the best in India right now , if gets a Turbo Charger then it will be the best move of Maruti Suzuki.

Nah, don't expect any company to launch diesel engines in more cars. Even the cars which come with diesel today will slowly shift to petrol.

Fun is a state of mind.
Hybrids and EVs can easily replicate the fun you had with diesels, the manufacturers just need to focus on performance, which they aren't willing to.

Suzuki Should borrow their 1.5L Engine from Mahindra (which thar 2023 uses) because I own thar 1.5 and trust me it's super Powerful and capable engine, simply a brilliant engine, which returns a mileage of 15.1 which Is amazing compared to its weight. When this engine will do its duty on lighter cars, the mileage will further increase.
Ssangyong designed that all aluminium engine for Europe. It was originally a 1.6 liter unit. Mahindra did a wonderful job downsizing it to 1.5 litres without losing torque or tractability, something VW could not manage with their 1.6 liter unit.
This Ssangyong 1.5 liter diesel unit as you might already know, now powers the 2wd Thar.
Wow u own it although the deliveries haven't started yet
@@abhishekrathore2586true dude, but what we can already say is that with a 1.5 liter petrol mill, the Jimmy will bleed 50% in taxes ‼️
Both the 3&5 door versions are sub 4 meters. That combined with a petrol engine smaller than 1.2 litres will suffer only 29% in taxes.
maybe v r comparing THAR which is a lighter car to grand vitara , check the wait to power rstio and moreover maruti needs to maintain their mileage also for the consumers

Hi Faisal, so what if the car was underpowered ⁉️ You made up for it ‼️😂
Manual transmission mild hybrid might allow you to bring the car to a complete halt in gear without pressing the clutch. ISG stall preventer and torque assistant should help pull away without the clutch intervention. You should try it.
By & large the Suzuki - Toyota alliance is not a well thought out one.
1, because the 3 pot full hybrid ought to have been a 1.2 liter & not 1.5 liter,
2, because this 4/4 variant could have used axle split hybrid technology like how Toyota uses on its hybrid 4/4s. & Yes, engine could have been the one used on the Fronx.
If it would have got a more powerful diesel, petrol engine and a 6 speed manual gearbox.
I would pick it over creta, seltos, harrier, hector any day
Maruti is Dadaji of the car industry.
