If govt removes the stupidly ridiculous 100% tax for supercars and actually not construct stupidly high speed bumps, you can see a significant number of supercars
Then you actually Need SSSTUUUPIDD HOSPITALS...
AND A LOT MORE STUPIDDILY RIDICULOUS accidents..😊
Well the 100% tax is not a stupidly ridiculous idea... If govt don't tax the richy rich, it will then have to come up with REAL stupidly ridiculous policies to tax poor & middle class more to compensate for its loss in income from taxation.
It's more than a 100%
It's around 240% all said and done by the time the cbu is imported
In India the roads are already full with cars if tax will come down then we can't drive the car on roads as there will be no space to drive
It’s not the government but the Indian car manufacturers which don’t want foreign companies to sell those high end products for cheap

What i really like about this podcast is that sometimes he ask question for audience which is something most of the audience really want to hear. Like the luxury cars within 40-50 lakhs etc. He knows the audience pulse.❤
The appreciation of the car, Applies to a selected few cars. Which are produced in limited quantities like the McLaren's F1. Other mass produced supercars deprecate at a rapid pace.
I think much more wider available cars such as the 911 platform of Porsche also appreciates
McLaren Speedtail and Ferrari LaFerrari is also in appreciation

I bet , Mr Boopesh Reddy would be one of 5-6 person who will get the allocation of Ferrari Purosangue ( means pure blood ) . This is because he is one of two person who in India who got allocation for Ferrari Competizione. And that car when launched was about half a million and now sky rocketed to about 2 million usd .
For kind information to other, he owns BREN Corporations which involved in real estate in and around Bangalore .
There are 4 competizione in india

Same as in case of mustang in india even 5-6 years old are sold for approx 75 lakhs whereas new costed around 65 lakh

14:53 one of a luxury car that is a competitor to audi q3 and bmw x1 is the vw tiguan, Highly underrated, and mod friendly, kodiaq is also a pretty tough competitor for those . These cars can be bought for less, as alot of profit margin is left for dealer.

High economical imbalance creates lifestyle differences, If i want to tell a classic example, I would mention actor rajinikanth as an outsider i have seen him using only commuter vehicles like Honda City, Toyota Innova,Tata Hexa etc. but their adorable daughters uses only expensive models on all brands like GLS, URUS, 760li etc. So this small story tells us That it is all upon human's mindset whether what to buy or not. A hard working father at age of 72 thinks 20 lakh ₹car is enough to ride over city, Still their daughters who probably never went for a job still needs an 7series bmw to ride as their father earns a lot.

Fresh judgement on RTO charges in Andhra pradesh High court passed about RTO charges it should be calculated only on net price value but not to be calculated on Ex-Showroom price even on Luxury cars, as it is mention in vehicle tax schedule 6. If anybody did so they can claim those charges from the showroom dealers. be aware of road tax while buying new cars.
Mostly super car gives mileage above 5kmpl and they have tanks above-70-80 litre, so even lowest mileage car you can do above 300km 👍🏻

Why is it that almost nobody in India can get basic count words correct? It's not "lakhs" and "crores", but _lakh_ and _crore._ In the same way that one does not say "5 thousands" and "5 millions", one does not say "5 lakhs" or "5 crores". And 10:36 the symbol for "kilometres per litre" is km/l, not "kmpl" (which would mean "kilometre-picolitres").

More tha 60lac cars zero depreciation issue is a very valid point. Also wont that affect the resale value? I find it hard to believe becos selling a large ticket car is fraught with a lot of issues. Can you do a segment on how and when to sell a car for the best bang for buck. Its 4 years i know but a full format will be appreciated with this kind gentleman
Stumbled upon this podcast out of nowhere. For a Nepali car enthusiast something like an Urus is beyond the wildest dream. The Tiago costs 32 lakh NPR here. Every car gets slapped with a luxury tax.
If you treat you a as a companies asset and you claiming depreciation from that asset and 1day you sell that asset in profit you have to pay capital gain on this asset because it's not and personal asset it's a company's assets,
I didn't expect this from Sharan who himself giving knowledge about taxes to others .
