MY FIRST MONTH BACK HOME
Hello and welcome back to my channel!
About a month ago I moved from London back home to Finland, and I wanted to do a little update on how it's been going and how I've settled back in here at home.
At the moment I'm staying at my parents place while I just figure thing out a bit and recover from the stress of moving đ I'm going to start looking for a small flat to rent soon for me and the cats, but I'm not really in a rush to do so :)
Right now I'm just looking forward to Summer and spending time out in our Summer place and getting to be outdoors in nature after this strange Spring and being indoors so much.
Living abroad definitely taught me a lot, but it feels really good to be back home đ§Ą

When i was young I use to think everything in life happened for a reason. Now that I've been through a few things I have begun to believe that everything happens in life, and it our purpose to give it reason. Its our job to make sense of the ups and downs and learn from them.đ

Iâm from the UK and London has always been known for being a lonely place and so different from other parts of the country, when visiting London I smile at the people on the London tube and soon realise thatâs a big no no and and drop my smile and feel a sadness that disappears when back home, so goodness knows how people overseas manage. Love your work and to see you so happy now x

But you don't have to present any truths to us if you're not ready â€ïž we will still be here for you. No matter if it takes you a week or a year to get back on track.
With this place you have in Finland, I wouldn't and couldn't imagine myself thinking of moving to (or visiting) a place like London.

I feel you so much - from the breakup and coming back home to using my native tongue in daily life again, I'm pretty much in the same situation and at times it's really scary to think about the future and I kind of panic when I think about what i should do next, BUT then I realise how much time I have on my hands now and how much I can do with it ^^ Give yourself time, indeed, let it all just unfold naturally. You put everything I had in my head in words. Just like you I just came back home and last year has been just working none stop for my internship. Gained lots of experience there, but having to stop puts things in perspective. Had to put some plans for later and enjoy the journey of figuring out where to go from now on. I always love to watch you, either it's a tutorial or a vlog- it's so creative and beautiful! You're not just sitting and telling your story, you're always showing how beautiful the world around you is. Those lights and shadows, those angles (especially the one when you've set your camera a bit low and stood in front of the house ) - that is something I would totally love to see in the most videos on CZcams đș And of course I love that you're so open and even if you're telling that you're going through tough times you somehow make the video not depressing but light and full of kindness. I'm sorry to hear you are going through a hard changes. I'm finding it's a season for that here as well. But also that so much quiet time has allowed me to think about what I really want and value which has been so nice and rare. :) I just found your youtube and am loving it! Would love to see more outfit videos, especially one with "fancy" things incorporated to pictures or outfits you could wear out for more normal days (someday!) but also use a fancy dress or sequins or something. :) I am also hoping to learn to knit, so would be interested in more knitting videos. Anyway, you always say that you didnât feel like becoming a choreographer but I think part of the reason why your photos are always so beautiful and stunning is because you are a choreographer. I went to a conference where a choreographer was giving a talk and he said that the definition of dancing is moving with intention. And for me itâs exactly what you do in your photos and videos, so I think you are actually using your master degree in your work but not the way people would think of it. Itâs all in the way you move, you stop and you pose.

Thank you for sharing life with us and being so open and vulnerable. I was in a similar situation back in 2008. I was in a 5-year relationship that ended, moved back in with my parents out to rural Oklahoma and although I wasn't happy about the situation things worked out for the best and I feel it put me back on track to where I wanted to be in life. I was single for 6 years after that breakup to focus on myself.

So so happy to have found your channel! The way you describe not being able to be your true or authentic self entirely in another language is something I very much recognise! No matter how well you master a different language, it's not the language you developed yourself into a human being in, not the language you got to discover all those little aspects of life in when you were growing up. I also believe that a sense of humor can be different (or more difficult) in a second language and doesn't always come up as quickly as it does in your native language. Maybe we just are a different versions of ourselves in another language, just like we are a little bit of a different version depending on our role and connection to someone else: friend, daughter, lover, colleague, neighbour, etc. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I completely get what you were saying and I can't wait to explore more of your videos!
