  • MY HOME TOUR & living with my parents at age 32
Hello and welcome to my new, or well, old home in a sense.
I got a lot of requests to do a home tour video of the flat I lived in back in London. But, I chose to ignore all of those and instead make a home, or rather I should say, room tour of me being back living in my little sister's old bedroom in Helsinki :))
This glamorous home tour features nifty little home decor hacks like my 5 Piece scattered wardrobe solution and my Minimalistic Scandi workspace that no one has ever used to do any work. Ever.
Also, you'll get to say hi to my two furry flat mates Bella and Luna. They're my two cats :)
I hope you enjoy this little light hearted house tour, and feel free to get inspired by my amazing urban jungle aesthetics or Pinterest worthy fairylights details. You're welcome ;D
Thank you so much for watching!
    Stay safe and take care!

A couple years ago I had to move to a small town, i didn't want to go but I had the opportunity to rent a place from my aunt so I knew she's not going to sell it and leave me looking for another place. I'm a single low income mom of 3. I needed the security of a longterm rental. But I felt like a failure, I was so sad and depressed that I needed family help, that I couldn't purchase my own home. Its dumb, my kids are happy and taken care of, thats what matters. I also do photos and have tons of clothes (costumes) i buy CLEAR storage bins so I can see what's inside without opening. Its awesome. I recommend!!

Oh and my cat is the same with her water bowl. I read somewhere that it's probably some kind of instinct thing. When cats were living in the wild and a food source was lying next to the water source, the water source could be contaminated. Sound reasonable to me at least😅

And i didn't say anything about not helping at all. I was fortunate enough to not have to work when I was home (I'm married now), but being the older sister I took care of my siblings and mostly my baby brother. We had chores and responsiblies for each one. I was encouraged to focus on my studies as well. And my siblings and I are expected and looking forward to taking care of my parents when they're older just like my father did. My grandma lived with us, and died at home, not in a nursing home. In my culture, family is over everything and we don't keep tabs on each other financially, because you pay it back one way or another.
You may think it's entitlement but it's just how it goes where I live.
The world doesn't revolve around the west's society values, which I personally think are individualistic and lead to loneliness, homelessness and overall a less social society.

I moved back home when I was 32. I had a brand new baby so I re-made her nursery things to match my little brother's old room. About the time you moved into your parent's home, my "baby" moved back in with her grandparents for student teaching. (Online from September 2020 to March 2021 when she taught at the local school in person).

For the water for the cats : they don't like it because in nature, if they find food (dead animals) next to water, it probably means that the water is poisonous. So put their water anywhere, they will be drink it (like at pretty much one meter ?!). But not next to food ^^ (dogs don't care at all, so dog bowl can be filled with food for one bowl and water in the other, but it doesn't work with cats ^^)(and for helping other, it's the same with the liter, one meter minimum to the food and the water , because cats isn't pooping where they eat or drink)(i know, not easy. but who says cats are easy ?! XD)

I moved back to my mother's place after my divorce as a parent alone because I was working far away and needed my mom to pick my daughter from school. I had an acquaintance laughing at my situation. Don't worry about what people said you are doing your best. You will be fine.

Omg 🌸 I’m stuck at home all alone during the Bad Covid Pandemic in FLORIDA & this was the PERFECT video to make me laugh. 🌸 Your honesty and openness are EXACTLY what will help you go thru this transition. 🌸 I bet your parents are happy to have you there. 🌸 Years ago when I was your age I had a breakup & had to move back in with my parents. 🌸 I felt like a failure until I actually started to enjoy this hiatus, 🌸 It all ended up great. 🌸 Found best job ever. Met the man I was meant to meet. 🌸 You are charming & your humor will take you far. I just know it. 🌸🌸

Haha; this was so cute and funny. And as far as you returning home, think of it this way: isn't it nice you have a safe place filled with love and happy memories and people? its like a big comforting hug, and maybe even helps fill you up again, rebalances you again, is a safe harbour. You know you won't be there forever, and neither will your parents. Enjoy the moment, for it too will pass. ;)

I live on my own in a small studio apartment... Because of quarantine, we are teaching online. I brought all my kindergarten stuff from school... Still trying to find a place for everything... Big books, storybooks, toys, school supplies, resources...📚📗🗃️✂️📐🗃️🖌️🎨🌱🌱 I even have a "class setting" for filming Circle Time. In my country, we will have virtual classes all year until December.🇧🇴 I still feel I need to create a system for organizing everything.

I love your videos and your positivity is unwavering no matter how much things change around you. I think it’s still great to have a lovely little space for yourself and hat your folks are able to help you during this uncertain time in your life. Somehow it still seems so aesthetic the way you have portrayed everything. Sending you love, warm hugs and prayers that everything works out even better than you hope. Keep smiling and thank you for sharing your life with all of us, it’s not always easy and I can tell watching your videos sometimes... but keep doing what you’re doing because you inspire and motivate more than you probably realize 💕🙏🌷God bless
