Well, 2020 is coming to an end, and what a year it's been! This year I've moved countries, moved again, been heartbroken, found love and in this video I'm sharing seemthing that happened really recently :) I still can't believe how much my life has changed in just a year!
This is a pretty personal video, and I feel a little nervous to share this, but I thought this year we could all use some positive stories with everything that's been going on, so that's why I decided to share mine :)

Dear Kika, you were the person that lead me out of a very dark place where I've been. In the beginning of 2020 I was dealing with depression. Your videos gave me joy and inspiration to take photos and start posting on Instagram. You motivated me to start doing something that eventually helped me getting through my depression. I just love that shot of your cat in the box. Such a beautiful cat! I'm more into Basset Hounds, but your cat is wonderful! I just discovered your videos when I watched you knitting your wedding dress. I'm a knitter so I watched that one, and now I'm going back and watching what I missed. I'm digging out and starting over at 62, working on my masters in Data Science. It's really hard and discouraging at times. I may not survive Machine Learning class, however, I love Data Visualization class... Keep the videos coming, it's like traveling and knitting at the same time. I love the guy you chose, he's someone you can laugh with. If I found someone like that I might actually get interested. I think you're supposed to have a life crisis at 32. I met my special someone in March, and guess what, they were 32 and having a major life crisis.. But we both found love this miserable year, so congratulations to us, and to the rest, stay strong and I hope we all can be happy and healthy in the years to come. ☺

Kika! I think that sometimes, our EQ (Emotional intelligence) is what holds us "back" or differently, gives us time to think our next step. Sometimes we overthink our past and what went wrong & where we "failed". But instead, all we need to do is accept our situation and find the same enthusiasm and curiosity for the humans around us. You did great! Letting yourself free to accept the love of another person and not feel guilty about that (for numerous possible reasons). I had a breakup in 2019 of a 6-year relationship and fell in love with someone new this year as well! I am so thankfull because one I'm very happy and two it really took my mind off the pandemic... :D It's so good to see you happy after your struggles

"I try to ignore sometimes things that could make me bitter." - I relate to that. No matter what happens, I always come back more inspired and positive than ever. I've loved people despite being hurt before meeting them and sometimes those people did use me for their own ego, but I just figure that's on them. I'll keep treating people how I want to be treated and I believe it will serve me well in the end.
