Every time I see the ending of Total Recall, I'm grinning like a total idiot. This movie makes me feel like a million bucks. Everything about it is just fantastic.
I think part of the reason why Total Recall and all those 80s/90s movies are pure legend... Is actually the Music. The Music was awesome and at times, it was as if the music was playing in the background, while the actors delivered their lines - they fit so perfectly together. Modern movies just have some throwaway, same old same old, music that seems added as an afterthought to the movie.

Makes me feel if I’m an actor and work with this guy, I have to understand that when he is in his method actor mode, I better be careful not to mess with him or question his methods

That opening with those spectacular credits and jerry goldsmith music...so good it's become a classic. Great story, lines, arnold in his prime, verhoeven in his prime, sharon stone one of the hottest chicks ever seen on screen, if not the hottest...to this day people still talk about the final. This was Arnolds best work as an actor. He managed to bring vulnerability to his character despite still being a behemouth. And Verhoven was at the top of his game here. Just a fantastic movie overall.
