Great video David and giving good overview of this laptop. I just received this laptop as well to have a look at quite a beautiful looking laptop I gotta say compare to the usual laptops I receive. I will watch the part 2 of this review after I take this laptop through its pace so I'm not bias. Keep up the great work mate!

@@MashITTech Dell sent me the angry beast one i9-10980HK, 32GB, RTX2080. Will have the M15r4 coming too when that hits our shores. They given me this to play with so I have something to compare the new one to. Will do the same with the Area-51.

Yes, I also have a desktop 3070 and will do a comparison to the mobile 3070 in the Alienware. I loved the area 51m r2, it was one of my favourite gaming laptops of 2020, I think you will enjoy that one just wish they could work out a way of only having 1 psu. Also I am interested in your thoughts on the top spec as I only had the middle spec. I wonder how the cooling copes? Looking forward to seeing that 👍

@@MashITTech I just finish updated all the drivers and BIOS now. I was playing a little on it and was wondering why it throttles so hard with overheat errors, then realised a rookie mistake forgot to turn the power on to the switch the power adapter was connected to lol. Goes to show even we make lots of newbie mistakes.
So far its been quite a nice computer since the last laptop I've been testing was the P15 this M15 is much more on the louder side and also the trackpad so far has been pretty average, they can really improve on that I hope in the R4.

I got the same model and specs. Uses it as a laptop gaming set up and it performs pretty well if not the best I had. It is attached to my Samsung G9 Odyssey 49inch monitor. Connected an external Logitech g915 wireless keyboard, Logitech g502 wireless lightspeed mouse and arctis pro wireless headset. It still gets warm with heavy gaming though but was better when I attached my Promate cooling pad.

Well I haven't had any mobile 3000 series in yet but I have heard they are nowhere near as powerful as their desktop counterpart so I think we may end up a little disappointed when comparing to current 2000 series mobile.
