I was issued 2 year Green Card and filed I-751 before 90 day period which eventually received ‘Notice of Action’ I was granted another 24 months, but I have to bring every time I will travel. Can I use this ‘ Notice of Action’ to travel outside United States? How many years before I can file for citizenship? Appreciate.

My case is the same as yours and I have this question. I don’t know whether some immigration officials may accept this letter or if it’s necessary for some parole or other official document.

You can file for citizenship after 2 years and 9 months if you married a USC.

Yes, you can travel and continue to work and do everything you do just fine but I don’t think you can file for citizenship until you get the permanent resident card or status, regardless of how many year you have been married to your spouse because you cannot go from a conditional green cardholder to a US citizens it has to be from a lawful permanent resident to US citizen . I understand you are a lawful permanent resident but conditionally (2yrs card )

@@t.j.7908 you do not file for US citizenship until you removed the two-year condition status you had to become a full lawfully permanent resident with a 10 year green card then you can become a us citizen

Can you talk about Administrative processing, I really don't hear alot about that. I am going through that process now and don't know what to do. The lawyer that I hired is not going to the extent in helping me and I also payed him 😔

So the i-90 is just the form to fill out to replace the card itself (after 10 years or if you lose it) and the i-751 is after two years to make the status permanent?

Not only this, but the beneficary is required to work before 2 year mark of after marriage and taking residency in peritioners country of residence.
