i got my perm 10 year green card in January 2023 ( Detroit field office 8.5 months total time to process). I still find myself so interested in the topic! Thank you for sharing all this info Jim

I agree...this topic is very interesting. I went through the process with my husband( he was the immigrant)...green card, removal of conditions and finally citizenship. The process is not for the faint of heart!! There is a lot of paperwork and waiting involved but when your case is finally approved it's worth it.

I applied for i751 and got an extension letter for 48 months. Can I travel anywhere in the world or just home country (Belarus)? I have a trip planned to Grand Cayman. Will my expired green card and extension letter be enough to enter Cayman Islands as permanent resident or would I need an additional visa?

I’m thinking getting an immigration lawyer that I can help me speed up the process. 7 years for a Green card while you legally married, still living with your spouse and have a legal business in the county, smh . I have a question. I apply 20 months ago for I-751 and I got the extended letter for 18 months. the letter is expired and so I call USCIS to get a Stamp. I got the stamp for 1 year on my passport. I would like to travel outside of US, but I lost my 2 years green card. So can I travel outside of US with just the Stamp? I also have another questions should the USCIS give me another extension letter or after expired they just give de stamp I-551?
