If anyone doesn't know where Lee's beef started with AFTV it was the way they treated Claude when he was booted from the channel. The situation was then exasperated when his Co watchalong host Chig was clipped and said to be knocking one out on stream. Robbie then made a joke about it on a podcast with DT and Goldbridge.
Both Claude and Chig are no longer with us. RIP guys ❤️

Robbie for a whole year allowed Ty to do the fist in the air, the kneel, shout BLM on his channel but when it was Moh who did the same thing for Palestine suddenly Robbie says "We don't want to bring politics into the channel". With Black Lives Matter, Robbie was fine with it, but when it was Palestines Lives Matter suddenly the channel isn't about politics.
Not only that, after people criticised Robbie's hypocrisy AFTV went on a copyright streak and started removing videos Moh made that put them in a bad light. That is not how you treat a person who has been a regular on your channel.

Lee is correct for calling out the way Robbie and AFTV have treated certain people poorly. Look into how Robbie treated Moh Haider.

The criticism of De Zerbis time at Sassuolo is laughable. He took a tiny team to back to back 8th place finishes. It showed that he has something to him as a manager. It was only the second time in their history that they had finished top half in Serie A and he did it repeatedly. I feel Lee does watch some things about AFTV. It may not be how others do but he has his eye on it sometimes. I really feel once Arsenal slipped up he was ready to pull the trigger. I was one of those that was very pissed that Robbie even came out of his mouth saying that those cups meant nothing. I felt he was in the moment for sure. I love Arsenal but we are not at that level what he was talking about. Hell NONE of us (except probably Ty) Thought we would be at this point in the league. But I knew we needed more due to the European tounys we were in. I was not happy we were eliminated out of those tournys, The whole "Well now we can concentrate on the league didn't sit well with me at all. To me? But our team is no where near a Man City where they can afford to rest people and still be a threat. We are no where near that. This summer? They are assets of the city they represent and the costs of their ground, match day policing and other costs that English clubs fund as independent entities are covered by the city. I believe Real Madrid can even secure money from the city's funds for player purchases. They are effectively funded by the city, and managers come and go like councillors, depending upon their success. I believe Barcelona is the same and know that Bayern exists under a similar model. That's why they have club presidents.
An English club is a private or public company with directors and shareholders who own and pay for everything themselves and require bank loans at commercial rates.
City's owners are oil Sheikhs with £billions of funds to help pay extortionate rates for players and wages that most other English clubs can not compete with other than with big player sales or ticket prices.
In light of this, Arsenal and Arteta have done an incredible job to get where they are, but with Chelsea, Newcastle and potentially ManU being funded by similarly rich owners as ManC, it will require some very clever business for the likes if Arsenal to keep competing, unless they also sell their souls to becoming an oil baron's financial instrument.
@@SenorSupreme176 Football authorities try to keep things fair by setting rules that clubs need to operate within the profits and revenues they generate from football but some of these club owners are so powerful, they duck and dive the rules with expensive internationally savvy lawyers that exploit every loophole. ManC have 100 financial irregularities against them and I would be surprised if any other than a few minor ones stick. There is more to winning titles than just tactics, team selection, desire and changing managers, if certain clubs can monopolise the best playing squads by paying fees and wages that in normal circumstances they wouldn't be able to afford through the money they actually make from their day-to-day business operations.

Everyone is wise with hindsight. Arsenal did not have the squad depth and quality to go for all competions. In November, we found ourselves in an unexpected position to challange for the title. We had to decide - go for the quadriple and risk top4 (like we have done in the last 5 years)with no guarantees of winning the trophy OR focus on the epl which gurantees top4 and hopefully win it.
Look at Man utd now, at risk of losing top4 only because they went for the quad with a thin squad. REMEMBER TOP4 WAS ALWAYS THE TARGET AT THE START OF THE SEASON. We need champions league to attract the best players to take us to the next level. For example, if reports are true, then Declan Rice chose us over his boyhood club Chelsea because of champions league.
that said, there will be no excuse for Edu and the owners not to booster this squad this summer to compete with Man City.

I agree with Lee on his point about not being able to give your opinion nowadays without getting shut down. I'm a United fan and our fanbase is very similar where the harsh truth hurts many United fans and theu don't wanna accept it. Instead they'd rather continue overhyping players and pretend to not understand why we finish 30 points behind City every season.
However I think Lee is overly negative when it comes to Arsenal and AFTV, just my opinion. Yes Arsenal have fallen off obviously in the past 2 decades but it is clear to see Arteta is improving Arsenal. Also without AFTV he wouldn't have got the subs and viewers he has now.
Also Lee's reluctance to rate new emerging managers is very weird to me. Ten Hag and De Zerbi are 2 clear examples. If you can't appreciate what De Zerbi has done at Brighton and also what he did at Sassuolo then I don't know what to say.
I used to watch AFTV a lot, but now I pretty much will only watch for very specific people’s post match interviews. Curtis Shaw is now my go to Arsenal CZcamsr.

Over the years, it has become clear that they've gone from a great channel giving everyone with differing views a chance to speak.
