Understanding Autism: Addressing Myths and Increasing Acceptance

Almost everyone knows someone with autism, but they may not realize it. In fact, many autistic individuals don't know they are autistic. This talk will examine characteristics of autism, address common myths, and discuss challenges autistic people may face. Ways we can help autistic students will also be explored.
