Any hike less than 12% to 15% is useless considering various factors.
IT and Ites sector is still good compare to BPO or BPS as majority of the companies MNCs gave 2.-3 % hike for PA , PD and MT's as onshore clients not billed per FTE billing as per project and supervisor want their personal growth and promotions. This is harsh and true😢

Every company is following the trend moving it to 1 quarter by sep. But this could go on other side also market is not good lots of layoffs in us clients cutting cost so instead of 10% it could be 2-5% as in case of other mncs

Hello Sir, I work in Amazon for almost 3+ years in the non-tech team and now I was given a hike of 9% but after that they moved me to a different department completely out of my scope n knowledge… now they r saying that there is a huge requirement so we moved you… Now I am not able to cope up and I am not able to understand anything. What should I do now Sir ? And why was this done to me only from my team ? 😢

There are innumberable so called software engineering professionals in India, and 99.9999% of them are a clerk.
I have made a rule of thumb to decide whether an Indian is a real software engineer or not.
I consider an Indian tech professional as a skilled software engineering professional only when he/she has good Upwork ratings.
